Willkommen bei Sunset Point! NICHT nur ein anderes Hotel! Unsere ruhige und private Ferienwohnung befindet sich im historischen Algiers Point. Das Hotel liegt in einer sicheren und gut beleuchteten Straße und ist eine der am nächsten zur Fähre gelegenen Ferienwohnungen. In unserem Gebäude befinden sich zwei Gästewohnungen, eine Eigentumseinheit und ein Souvenirladen. Eigener Eingang. Wir wohnen auf dem Gelände und sind täglich zwischen 12 und 24 Uhr für Sie da. Wir sind also immer für Sie da.

Wir sind eine brandneue Konstruktion, die im April 2017 fertiggestellt wurde.

Ihr Raum enthält 1 Schlafzimmer mit einem Queensize-Bett, 1 Badezimmer mit Dusche / Badewanne-Kombination, viel Ablagefläche im Badezimmer, eine voll ausgestattete Küche mit Kühlschrank, Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Herd und Backofen, Frühstückstisch, 60 "-Flachbild-Smart-TV , eine ausziehbare Couch, WLAN und Ihre ganz eigene private Veranda. Dieses Gerät befindet sich im ersten Stock und verfügt über zentrale Luft und Wärme. Wir füllen den Raum mit Bettwäsche, Geschirr, Kochgeschirr, Snacks, Wasser, Kaffee und anderen Knabbereien. Es ist mit Kunstwerken von Künstlern aus Louisiana dekoriert.

Wir können auch Spielzeug, Pack and Play oder andere Babyartikel anbieten. Bitte lassen Sie es uns im Voraus wissen.

In unserer Nachbarschaft finden Sie Bars, Live-Musik, Restaurants, Grünflächen, einen wunderschönen gepflasterten Damm, Parks, eine Galerie mit mundgeblasenem Glas, eine interaktive Kunstgalerie für Kinder und unseren schönen Geschenkeladen gleich nebenan. Viele kostenlose Parkplätze an der Straße.

Damit unser Eigentum frisch und sauber riecht, ist dies ein NICHTRAUCHERGEBÄUDE. Rauchen ist innerhalb und außerhalb des Gebäudes NICHT gestattet. Dies umfasst den Hinterhof und die Veranda. Bei Verstoß gegen diese Regel wird eine nicht erstattbare Reinigungsgebühr in Höhe von 200 USD erhoben.

Der Check-In beginnt um 15.00 Uhr.

Wenn Sie zwischen 15:00 und 20:00 Uhr einchecken, werden wir Sie gerne begrüßen, Ihnen die Schlüssel geben und Ihnen die Unterkunft zeigen. Gerne nehmen wir auch Ihren späten Check-in entgegen. Der Schlüssel befindet sich im Schließfach an der Haustür der Unterkunft hinter dem Geländerpfosten. Wenn Sie nach 20:00 Uhr einchecken, kontaktieren Sie uns bitte, um einen Schlüsselcode für das Schließfach per Telefonanruf, VRBO-Nachricht oder Text zu erhalten.

Great place and location to stay very clean and with the host living on site it makes it easy if there is problems. The neighborhood was great with the Ferry dock being very close and also a bunch of other food and beverage establishments with in walking distance.

The location of the condo was excellent. It is in a quiet neighborhood with street parking and a quick walk to the ferry to get to the French Quarter. The condo itself was clean and comfortable. However, the bed needs updating. I didn't find it to be very comfortable. In other reviews, I read that some travelers also didn't like the bed. I came prepared with a heating pad which helped me to get a good night's sleep. On the other hand, my husband thought the bed was just fine. We couldn't figure out how to adjust the heating and cooling in the unit. For the most part, the temperature of the condo was fine though. I would highly recommend this condo to others as long as you aren't overly particular about beds!

Great rental and location.

This is a clean, comfortable, and quiet rental. The location is great as well. I was not familiar with Algiers Point before booking but I would definitely stay there again if possible. There are good restaurants within walking distance and th ferry to Canal Park is about 2 blocks away and very convenient.

Great spot for a long weekend

This property was clean, easy to access and the hosts were helpful. It has everything you need in a spacious, clean setting right in the heart of Algiers. The only negative, and this is being very picky, is that the mechanicals (A/C) are very loud. Would definitely stay again!

Nice, quiet area that felt safe, but was still very close to downtown. Street parking was available. We didn’t have any issues except with the public transport, but that had nothing to do with the host or accommodations. Quick walk to the ferry, but ask an employee when the last one runs. Their schedule said 12, but it was really 8:30, so we had to get an uber back. Still, the stay was nice and the hosts were accessible. No issues to report and we would stay again.

Clean, bright, quiet, and handy

This condo is just as pictured -- light, spacious, and very clean. Plenty of lights in the bathroom, which is unusual. The owner, Bea, is very busy juggling her rentals, a retail business, designing and creating jewelry, and raising a 6-year-old, but she's still responsive and VERY helpful! Safe, very quiet location 3-4 blocks from the ferry landing.

Good property. 3 things that frustrated me 1 the bed was hard rock first night was torture trying to get comfortable and fall asleep and it was also small for two tall people like me and my husband, also the covers and the pillow could’ve been better. 2 it was very hard trying to stay asleep or even sleep in after 6-7 am because when someone is walking upstairs it’s very very loud first morning there it was like someone was stomping around with heals. 3rd thing was had a hard time always locking the door every time we left and the window in the living room doesn’t lock like you look it but it will still open definitely kept me the last night I found this out. Other then all of that If you want peace and quiet away from all the craziness this is the place to be. Very convenient! Only a 5 minute walk to the ferry that literally only takes like 5 minutes to get to the other side we walked to the French quarter not far at all but it is a lot of walking ! So make sure you wear comfortable shoes. Taking the ferry was a lot more convenient then taking our car because you spend 30 minutes to an hour looking for parking and traffic is horrible. So if you’re spending your day exploring around the French quarter advise you to take the ferry and walk it.

This unit was very clean, quiet, had great air conditioning and was spacious and comfortable with a nice bathroom. The location was amazing, just 5 mins walk to the ferry terminal to catch the ferry to downtown and have beautiful views! There were also a few bars and restaurants fairly close by which we visited, eg 14 Parishes a Jamaican restaurant. We did find the wifi a little spotty but that may have been our phones. Beatrix was very helpful if we needed her! Great communication.

New Orleans visit

Very nice stay for two. Excellent location as it’s close to ferry to take you to New Orleans/French quarter and beyond but much quieter. A few bars and restaurants in area. All good. No check in instructions received though and had to call when we arrived

Clean, modern, well-stocked, quiet

The apartment is light and airy, air-conditioning works fantastic. Nice decor and fixtures, appliances look new and work well. Bed was comfortable. Location is great, only a few blocks from the Algiers ferry. If you’re interested in enjoying New Orleans, but prefer to sleep in a quiet neighborhood, this is a good choice.

Very nice VRBO

Perfect for us as we were visiting family and we only had a 5 min. walk. As we have been to New Orleans many times we are very familiar with the area. Very close to the ferry to bring you to the French Quarter or other points of interest in the city. Also if you have a vehicle, close to a supermarket! Bea and Richard very nice people and we certainly enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our stay here. Algiers is a quaint town just a short commute to the French Quarter. Our unit was clean and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.
