North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here. This home is ideally located within close proximity to numerous New Orleans landmarks including Jackson Square (1.5 Miles), Caesars Superdome/Smoothie King Center (0.9 Miles), The National WWII Museum (2.8 Miles), and the famous Lafayette Cemetery No. 1 (3.0 Miles).

Mid-City has a rhythm that gets under your skin - second-line parades rolling down oak-lined streets, the Canal Streetcar rumbling past two blocks away, the scent of chicory coffee drifting from corner cafés. This bungalow puts you right in the thick of it, a bright and welcoming home base for soaking up everything New Orleans has to offer.

Living space
Natural light fills the main living area, making the space feel easy and unhurried from the moment you walk in. Sink into the sofa for a streaming night on the 43" HDTV with Netflix, or duck into the dedicated workspace - set in a private room with a door - when you need to stay on top of things between outings. Central air conditioning, central heating, and ceiling fans keep the temperature comfortable no matter the season.

Sleeping arrangements
Two bedrooms offer a quiet place to land after a full day in the city, each made up with soft linens and stocked with extra pillows and blankets. Closets and dressers in each room give everyone space to settle in properly. The full bathroom features a bathtub, shower, bidet, and hot water, with complimentary toiletries including shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and shower gel provided.

Kitchen & dining
The kitchen is genuinely outfitted for cooking - Frigidaire stainless steel electric stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, drip coffee maker, and toaster are all here. Cooking basics, pots and pans, dishes, and silverware round out the setup. Pull up a chair at the dining table and enjoy a proper home-cooked meal before heading back out into the city.

Outdoor living
A private balcony is the right spot for a slow morning coffee while the neighborhood wakes up around you. The fenced yard beyond offers a peaceful place to decompress after a full day of exploring - and it's a genuinely good setup if you're traveling with pets.

Laundry & essentials
An in-unit washer and dryer mean you can pack light and stay as long as you like. Hangers, an iron, cleaning products, fresh towels, and bed linens are all provided. Cleaning is also available during your stay if needed.

Family-friendly features
Traveling with little ones? A mini crib (38" x 24", sheets provided), pack 'n play/travel crib (sheets provided), folding high chair with padding, straps, and food tray, and baby safety gates are all available upon request.

Location
Two blocks from the Canal Streetcar, you're within walking distance of the Lafitte Greenway, neighborhood cafés, and live music. The French Quarter, City Park, and the Superdome are just minutes away. Winter visitors are particularly well-placed - NOLA ChristmasFest, New Year's Eve fireworks, the Allstate Sugar Bowl, Twelfth Night, Krewe du Vieux, and Mardi Gras Day are all within easy reach, with the Endymion parade rolling right through the neighborhood.

Free parking is available on the street. Self check-in is handled via smart lock, and exterior security cameras are in place for added peace of mind.
