I am torn on leaving honest review because I want this place to ALWAYS be available when I can return to St Joe. The unit was 100% impressive. I brought my dog and she was right at home in the space and walking in the neighborhood. Host was friendly and eager to assist with any directions/special requests, from food delivery options, directions to local stores, walking areas and anything needed for beach. The neighborhood felt safe and everyone seemed friendly. It was a quick walk to beach access, beach cart provided, anything you could possibly need is available to you here. The unit was spotless, smelled fresh and had everything needed for a week long stay. I don’t see myself going anywhere else in the future. Super happy “renter”.

We had a wonderful stay! The rental was comfortable, very clean, and had everything we needed. It was fully stocked with essentials plus thoughtful extras like dog bowls, beach chairs, toys, and towels, which made it less for us to pack. The rental is very dog-friendly, which was a huge plus for us. Jeremy was a great host—very communicative before and during our stay and shared great places to dine.The location is ideal—less than a 5-minute walk to dog-friendly St. Joe Beach. Even with spring break in full swing in Panama City, SJB was lazy and quiet, making it perfect for relaxing and long walks along the shore.Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable trip. We’d definitely stay here again! Thanks again!

Great place with an affordable price

The place is clean, 2 bedrooms are very roomy, and a large sleeping sofa is quite comfortable. It's located off the beach front but close enough to walk/drive to the beach. We will definitely consider this place when we go to Port St. Joe again.

Great place!

We were very pleased with everything about the apartment, from location, to cleanliness and amenities, to having a kind and helpful host in Jeremy. It was the first time my son and I have been to FL and it did not disappoint. The neighborhood was quiet and only a few mins walk to the beach. The place is very clean and the owner is very kind and responsive to questions. We'll definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

Great location! Great Trip!

Jeremy’s place was just as described in the listing: super clean, cozy, 2 blocks from the beach, nice quiet neighborhood. It was the perfect amount of space for my husband, my two teenage daughters and our black lab Harley. Jeremy was an incredibly gracious host, my husband and I enjoyed talking with him and my 13 year old daughter enjoyed spending time with his little girl. We did not feel that our time was encroached upon in any way with Jeremy living upstairs to the unit, he took great care to give us the space we wanted and was personable and engaging when we did see him. The location was perfect, I felt good walking my dog early in the morning throughout the neighborhood, and the beach is literally two blocks away, super easy to walk to and from Jeremy’s home. Shopping for groceries is about 20 min away in downtown Port St Joe, i would say you could basically find anything you’re looking for either at the Piggly Wiggly or the Dollar General Super Store in town. There are plenty of eateries in downtown Port St Joe and great local shops as well. Cape San Blas is about a 30 minute drive from Jeremy’s, we visited the gulf side beaches there several days, all dog friendly beaches which was great for us and our pup! We enjoyed the waves, sun and sand. Jeremy has an outdoor shower which made it super convenient to wash off after a day at the beach before coming inside the house. The two bedrooms were plenty of room for the 4 of us, we definitely used and enjoyed the kitchen to cook in, Jeremy had all of the pots, pans and utensils one would want when cooking, we also used the grill outside for burgers one night and made good use of the washer and drier for our beach towels (he has some towels available for use, we just brought our own) and bathing suits. I would say that Jeremy has put quite a bit of thought into his rental, ensuring his guests have all the comforts of home away from home. He was a great host and would highly recommend his place. We look forward to seeing him and his daughter again!

I’ve called Gulf County, Florida home since 2011, after living throughout Virginia and growing up near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. My daughter and I spend as much time as possible at the beach, soaking in the beautiful waters, peaceful surroundings, and unforgettable sunsets—something we enjoy most nights of the week.

We love to travel when time permits. I am a founder and principal of a group of charter schools in Panama City. Hosting guests has been one of the most rewarding parts of owning this rental, and over the past five years, we’ve built many long-lasting friendships with visitors from all over.

You’ll enjoy as much privacy as you’d like, but we’re alway available and happy to answer questions, offer recommendations, or help with anything you need during your stay. My daughter is also great at entertaining your children or furry friends!

We look forward to welcoming you and helping you enjoy everything the Forgotten Coast has to offer!

We purchased the property shortly after Hurricane Michael, drawn by the opportunity to be within eyesight of the beach. At the time, it was in need of a complete renovation, which we thoughtfully and painstakingly began in 2019.

What started as a major project quickly became a labor of love for both my daughter and me. Every detail was chosen with care, with the hope of creating a comfortable, welcoming space for others to enjoy this special area as much as we do.

It is truly our hope that you enjoy your time with us and make wonderful memories during your stay.

The house is located in a small, friendly neighborhood where neighbors still talk to one another, children play in the street, and everyone truly knows each other’s name. It’s a peaceful, welcoming area that reflects the relaxed, old-Florida coastal lifestyle.

From the house, you can easily walk to the beach, as well as Dollar General, Exxon gas station, several local food trucks, and the neighborhood bar, making it convenient to enjoy both everyday essentials and local flavor without needing to drive.
