Nestled in the woods

Lost moose lodge was a spacious log house for our family of 16 adults and 8 children. We enjoyed the inside areas as well as the outdoor porches and pool/hot tub. The house is located just a little off the main road but has the feel of total isolation. There were walking trails very near by that provided some great nature hikes and of course the bluebonnets and other wild flowers were in bloom!

Great pace for relaxing stay with a large group

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was very comfortable even with 13 adults and 4 littles. Lots of space to spread out and have private time or commune with others. We spent a lot of time in the pool and on the patios. Only suggestion I would have is if possible to spray the patios and pool area with bug repellent; annoying gnats or flying ants.
Antwort von VrboOwner am 7. Aug. 2025
Linda, Thank you for the great feedback! We're so glad the house at Log Country Cove was comfortable and spacious enough for your whole group to enjoy both together time and quiet moments. It’s wonderful to hear you made the most of the pool and patios! We appreciate your suggestion about the bug spray — we’ll definitely pass that along to our team to help make the outdoor areas even more enjoyable. Thanks, Log Country Cove on Lake LBJ

Lost Moose Lodge

There were five couples-our husbands all worked in the Oil industry together. They have been playing dominos together for many years, so this trip was designed for them to play lots of dominos. The wives shopped in Marble Falls and Burnet. Great deck to enjoy the outdoors.
