Great stay, close to the beach!

The proximity to the beach is amazing, only a very short walk - you can actually view the Gulf from the upstairs master bedroom balcony! This house was very comfortable for us with a nice pool. Perfect for a Vacation

The only thing I would change is updating the blinds in the bedrooms and also adding blinds to the doors that don’t have any. we came to visit our grandson who recently was deployed to the naval air base. The house was fine. The tv’s did not work so we had to ask for a repair man. The gas tank for the grill was empty so we had to take it to the office for replacement. You not allowed to take your dog on the beach. The master suite was very nice.

Great Beach getaway!

The beach was close by and the youngest were in the water and surf even though it was chilly. They also enjoyed the pool. The area was nice. The restaurants were all good. The house was a little worn. The small appliances need replacing. The master toilet on the main floor would run a lot, wasting water. Found a lot of what looked like long dog hair on the main floor.

It was OK

The house was clean but there are a few things that should be done to make the experience safer and better. The gates to the pool do not work properly, so there is some liability for keeping children out of the pool area. Some better knives for cooking would be a simple upgrade. It was very clean and comfortable. It is strange though that there is no exhaust fan over the stove. That would be helpful, as well as an ice machine. We did have a good time with family, but based on the issues listed, I would not book it again. Those simple upgrades could really help. Thank you!

Pros: -Great location -Awesome Pool -The rooms were a good size Cons: -Roaches behind the oven and cabinets (they were not palmetto bugs) -Toaster barely worked -Coffee maker was gross -Ceiling fans, vents, blinds, and pretty much anything else that holds dust was caked in it. -broken deck spindles on 1st and 2nd floor deck (not great if you are bringing your small children that like to run around) -used band aids and trash under the couch -kitchen sink wouldn’t put out cold water -up stairs king bedroom main door does not latch when you shut it and the balcony door knob comes off when you pull the door shut (I had to climb out the window to the deck to open the door and put the knob back on) -found multiple rusty screws in the driveway -paying a $375 cleaning fee and getting a dirty house

July 4th, Blues Week and Paradise

We had issues with the washer and dryer....Kris w/Paradise took care of both....He had 2 brand new units delivered to the house! Now, this is what I call SERVICE! We love the house, location and of course the pool - which was cleaned twice a week during our stay. All the ladies at Paradise were so nice to my were Russell and Kris! We have rented from Paradise for years and of course, we will be back next summer. It's the little extra things and service we truly appreciate. The only thing we might suggest is updating the kitchen and counter space (island).

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The pictures on the site are much nicer than this property really is. It is run down. It is rusted and cheap on the inside. The location is great but not worth the money. It didn’t feel that it was cleaned before we arrived. There was black mold all over one of the bathroom toilets. The pool is accessed through the main bedroom which they don’t tell you. Property company was helpful but only sent someone to replace the toilet seat rather than clean the whole house. It should not rent for this much money.

It was a little old and we did come replace it. Also, we would have been more than happy to have addressed any of the cleaning issues had we known that you wanted that done. We were not told that you felt like it needed addressing. We are here for our guests and want everyone to have a wonderful stay. We are always available to you and had we known that you wanted some cleaning things addressed we would have sent over our housekeeping manager and crew to take care of those things. There is also a door that leads out from the kitchen to the carport that leads to the pool. It sounds like that was missed. Again, we're sorry to hear that your stay was not up to your expectations and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors.

Baker's Dozen and More!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were blown away by the house! It was more than we expected and was enjoyed by all who went. The pool was used A LOT by the grandkids! Walking distance to the beach and the access was so convenient to all the different restaurants. Will be staying again.
