Two bedroom, sea-view apartment on popular Monte Dourado resort
This is a lovely, airy and spacious ground floor apartment, which has just come onto the rental market. It is part of the popular Monte Dourado resort in central Carvoeiro, and is literally a couple of minutes walk from the iconic beach, fabulous restaurants, and shops.
Occupying one of the best positions on the end of a block in the front row of apartments, the lounge, master bedroom and terrace, all have wonderful sea views. It also benefits from being a single ground floor apartment, with no apartment above and is one of only three apartments on the complex having been constructed in this way.
Having undergone some refurbishment in 2024, the apartment benefits from an air conditioning and heating system and new double-glazed windows and doors, with mosquito nets on the main windows and patio doors. The bathrooms have also been partially upgraded, with some new fittings, including a new rain shower in the front bathroom.
It also has its own fibre broadband wifi system (not shared with other Monte Dourado apartments), to ensure fast, broadband speeds for our guests.
The two bedroom, two bathroom apartment comfortably sleeps 4 people, having a super king-sized bed in the main bedroom and a double bed in the second bedroom.
The accommodation also includes:
BATHROOMS. The main bathroom has a bath and there is a large shower in the second bathroom. Both bathrooms have electric heaters for winter guests.
LOUNGE/DINING AREA - This contains a three-seater sofa, flat screen smart TV, with a range of channels and the option to watch sports, films and series from Netflix, Apple TV etc. The dining area has a dining table and six chairs.
KITCHEN - this is well equipped, with all white goods, including an electric cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine and fridge-freezer.
OUTSIDE AREA - The terrace has a table and four chairs with parasol, perfect for outside dining or relaxing, throughout the year.
HEATING
Air conditioning /air-sourced heating units in both bedrooms, the lounge area and heaters in both bathrooms. Wood burner.
POOLS
The main pool area is just a few yards away, to the front of the apartment, the larger of the two pools being heated in the winter months (end of October until May.)
PARKING
Free parking is available within 20 metres.
TENNIS
There are also two tennis courts on the site, which can be booked via reception.
CLEANING. Weekly cleaning and laundry change is included around day 7 for stays of 12 days or more
WINTER BOOKINGS - November – March. Electricity is included.
For the cooler winter evenings, there is a wood burning stove and logs /kindling are available to purchase, for delivery, from Reception.
VAT - is also included in the price

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE INTRODUCTION OF A TOURIST TAX
We are now required to collect the following fees on behalf of Lagoa council. These fees are chargeable for any guests age 13 or over. The fee is payable per night up to a maximum of 7 consecutive nights.
The fee is €2 per person/ per night between 1st April and- 1st October (High season) and €1 per person / per night between November 1st and March 31st. (Low season.)
We will request this additional tax on or after the deadline for the second payment. Please advise as to the number of guests aged 13 and above, so we can charge accordingly.
