Eine luxuriöse Wohnung im Erdgeschoss in hervorragender Lage im Monte Dourado Resort, direkt im Zentrum von Carvoeiro und nur einen kurzen Spaziergang vom Strand und dem Stadtzentrum entfernt (500 m). Die Wohnung ist wie neu und wurde zu einem sehr hohen Standard aktualisiert und verfügt über eine Klimaanlage im Wohnzimmer und beiden Schlafzimmern. Es gibt zwei geräumige Schlafzimmer, das Hauptschlafzimmer mit Bad und das zweite Schlafzimmer mit Dusche. Die Küche ist modern und komplett ausgestattet mit Geschirrspüler, Mikrowelle, Waschmaschine und großem Kühlschrank mit Gefrierfach. Die Lounge bietet bequeme Sitzgelegenheiten mit einem 40-Zoll-Flachbildfernseher sowie Kabelfernsehen mit englischen Fernsehkanälen in HD (BBC1 & 2, ITV, CBBC, Sky News und Sky Sports und viele mehr) und viele andere Sprachkanäle sowie einen DVD-Player (Es gibt eine große Sammlung von DVDs, Büchern und Spielen für die ganze Familie) und ein Kaminfeuer für die kühleren Abende. Die Lounge führt auf eine schöne Sonnenterrasse mit hochwertigen Tischen und Stühlen und herrlichem Blick auf einen der fünf Swimmingpools (einschließlich Kinderbecken) im Resort (die allen Gästen zur Verfügung stehen) und einen kleinen Garten. Das Apartment verfügt auch über kostenfreies WLAN und einen digitalen Laptop-Safe (Kunden müssen sicherstellen, dass sie über eine eigene Versicherung für den Inhalt verfügen).

Die Wohnung liegt an einem schönen abgelegenen Ort, der ruhig und friedlich ist und einen gepflegten Garten mit Tennisplätzen in 100 m Entfernung hat.

Ein Auto ist nicht erforderlich, aber es gibt das ganze Jahr über viele Parkplätze in der Nähe der Wohnung.

Das Apartment wird vor Ort vom Monte Dourado verwaltet und die Rezeption ist nur 100 Meter entfernt (es gibt eine Telefonverbindung im Apartment, sodass Sie sicher sein können, dass das Personal zur Stelle ist, um Ihnen einen schönen erholsamen Urlaub zu garantieren, egal ob Sie buchen ein Auto, Reise oder ein Taxi arrangieren). Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr hilfsbereit und stehen Ihnen sieben Tage die Woche zur Verfügung und helfen Ihnen bei der Buchung von Ausflügen, Golfspielen, Flughafentransfers, Mietwagen oder anderen Informationen. Auf Anfrage können Babybetten, Hochstühle und Klappbetten gemietet werden.

Der Hauptpool ist vom 1. Oktober bis zum 30. April beheizt.

Für Buchungen von November bis Ende März wird den Kunden Strom in Rechnung gestellt.

Poolhandtücher werden zur Verfügung gestellt und können an der Rezeption gegen 1 € pro Handtuch ausgetauscht werden.

Große Strandmatten stehen allen Gästen zur Verfügung.

Ein Reinigungsservice für die Grundreinigung wird 3-mal pro Woche angeboten. Der Bettwäschewechsel erfolgt wöchentlich und der Handtuchwechsel Mitte der Woche. Eine zusätzliche Reinigung kann auf Kosten des Gastes arrangiert werden.

Für das leibliche Wohl sorgen ein Minimarkt in weniger als 5 Gehminuten Entfernung sowie der örtliche Stadtmarkt, auf dem Sie täglich (außer sonntags) frisches Obst, Gemüse, Fisch und Fleisch erhalten.

Well equipped property especially in the kitchen. Comfortable beds and and loungers Small supermarket 5 minutes walk and bigger ones a short drive. Vacation within a vacation

Fantastic to be back in Carvoeiro (and back at Michelle's property in Monte Dourado) - visit number 3 to the town and second to this property. Just as we remembered - everything we could wish for in a holiday property with easy access to the pool (which kept both our boys happy)! What a fabulous apartment! Clean and tidy. Had all of the amenities you needed. The location was within a 5 min walk to downtown Carvoeiro where you can find many restaurants and shops. The owner responded in a timely fashion to any questions we had. She was excellent to deal with. Highly recommend this apartment. Great stay! Coming back for sure.

Beautiful apartment, kitchen better than I have at home, pool & sunbed's right outside the front door, easy check in. Very close to the beach & restaurants, but far enough away to be very peaceful, Michelle was very helpful with recommending car hire & any other questions we had, would recommend to anyone, only thing to note is that in April the temperature drops from 20 during the day to 14 at night so take warm clothing, all positive & hopefully will be back soon.

Fantastic holiday at the Monte Dourado resort in Carvoeiro. This was our second time staying at this great resort and Michelle’s apartment was lovely - modernised to a high standard & very tastefully decorated. It’s situation right by the pool was also great to allow easy access for the kids. Michelle was fantastic to deal with, helping to organise airport transfers for us and ensuring a welcome pack of essentials in the fridge. I would highly recommend considering this apartment if you are looking at Carvoeiro as your holiday destination. We’ll certainly be looking to book again!

Home from home

Absolutely loved the apartment, the photos do not do it justice. All we could wish for and more. Very spacious, even got sky sports channel on the tv. Brilliant location, 5 minutes to shops, restaurants/bars and beach. Lovely pool which was quiet most of the time. Carvoeiro has many restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. The only reason for giving 4 instead of 5 stars for cleanliness is because none of the corners had been cleaned for a while. Also we didn't get our bedding changed during our stay even though we stayed for 8 nights. Easy communication with owner. We would definitely use the apartment again on our next trip to Carvoeiro. We highly recommend.

Fantastically well maintained apartment in great location

We went for a short winter break to Carvoeiro and had a fantastic 6 days. The weather was great and so was the apartment. Decorated and set up to a high standard. We have stayed in many apartments over the years in different places and this was up with the best. As well as the décor being high quality the kitchen was fully equipped and no running out of plates or glasses. Sitting outside the apartment is pleasant with a nice little garden to overlook. There are comfortable chairs to sit on and read your book and also a table to enjoy breakfast and lunch at. The pool is very close to hand. It was great to lie by on well maintain sunbeds. Less than a five minute walk and in the evening you are in the centre of town, with a great range of bars and restaurant. Even out of season there is plenty of choice. I will be returning.

Great, relaxing stay

So glad I chose this location. It isn’t as crowded as other areas in low season. The beach is sufficient, if you have time to drive you can access a huge beach with softer sand by Sagres and visit the fortress. A nice board walk up the hill is lit at night in Carvoeiro , so you can walk off the late night dinner. We make breakfast in the well equipped kitchen to save time, but there’s breakfast options in town. There’s some great Indian and Nepalese restaurants which have excellent food and service is most courteous. The condo is spacious and the pool is not heated, but refreshing. There’s plenty of food stores down the road toward Lagoa to buy groceries of more variety. Consider taking the 7 Hanging Valleys Trail (Praia da Marina) instead of the Benagil Caves boat tours, unless you like being packed on a boat like sardines, breathing boat engine exhaust, and you’ll save time, frustration, and money - also you might not see the cave with the hole in the top because it’s tide dependent, and you need overhead sun for pictures. You will see plenty of caves and arches from the trail.

Great Location in Carvoeiro

This property had the perfect location and amenities for enjoying the Algarve. It was an easy walk down to the beach (slightly more challenging back uphill :) Easy to drive to and good parking right in front of the unit. Choice of several grocery stores within a ten-minute drive. So much to do in the area. A little market a two-minute walk away, and great bakeries and restaurants in town nearby. We had warm weather for mid-April and enjoyed the unheated pool just outside the unit (not too cold for Canadians). There was also a heated pool a few units away. The condo was spacious and very comfortable. Be aware that the kitchen, while well-equipped with dishes, pots, utensils etc, did not have any salt, pepper, spices, cooking oils etc. Also, plan to bring shampoo, dishwasher and laundry detergent (or you can purchase tabs at the reception for 0.50 euros.) The host emailed us well in advance with the check-in instructions and information on the resort and area, which was really appreciated! Wish we had stayed longer!

We purchased our 'place in the sun' in the beautiful village of Carvoeiro, where we have been visiting for many years. We currently live in the UK but our intention is to eventually retire to Carvoeiro. Though that is some years away, we thought we would share our 'place in the sun' with others so they can also experience and hopefully come to love Carvoeiro and the Algarve like we do.

As a result Carvoeiro is now mostly free of large apartment complexes and big hotel high rise buildings, as only permission for two-storey buildings are being granted.
