This was a very pleasant place for us to stay. We are a married couple and a single friend. Plenty of space, great shower, great amount hot water, very clean, air conditioning, and well situated to shops and not far from the metro/Rossio square. There was an unusual odor in one of the bathrooms and some limited hanging storage for clothing in each bedroom. Finding the actual front door was tricky. A local helped us when we looked lost. Once there, getting in was easy with the instructions given. We would definitely stay again if ever in Lisbon.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Garden Oasis apartment. It is close to the main centre about 8 minutes walk from Rosario Square where we picked up Ubers to get home. ( About 5/6 euros each time or a taxi euros10.) That is because it is up a very steep road to get back so whilst walking down is fine up is hard particularly if it is hot which it was when we stayed.The garden is useful for breakfast or a drink before you go out and also the washing machine, which I used.We were a couple which was fine maybe a bit of a squeeze for 4 people. There was a bit of a musty smell I think was because it is difficult to ventilate. Everything worked that we used, however we didn’t cook or even have breakfast. There is no coffee or tea or really any basics so bring your own!However we enjoyed our stay and think it was a good space and value in central Lisbon .

BED BUGS DO NOT STAYWe stayed three nights at this property and during our stay developed extensive, painful and extremely itchy bites. We subsequently found actual bed bugs and blood stains on the bedding, and photographed the evidence.We immediately reported the issue to Vrbo and provided photographic documentation of the bites, blood stains and bed bugs. We left the property after discovering the apparent infestation.Despite providing this evidence, Vrbo initially offered only 200 as “goodwill” compensation and stated that because we had completed our stay, they would not provide a full refund.We are sharing our experience so future guests can make an informed decision. We have retained photographic documentation supporting everything described in this review.BED BUGS DO NOT STAY. Neither should guests be expected to.

Very nice place to stay; no coffee provided at all, no paper towels though there was an empty holder for rolls, no napkins of any type, the only factors keeping it from 5 stars.The garden is a pleasant space and there’s a nice cat that comes over the wall to visit. I’d stay again (hopefully coffee provided) as it’s a sweet neighborhood, quiet, at the top of a hill.

Great location for four family with two teenagers. We enjoyed buying small items from the local bodegas, walking down into the busier parts of town through the neighborhood, spreading out into the backyard and having breakfast at home. We brought Nespresso pods since we knew the coffee machine needed that.Would be ideal if the manager sent the check in forms a week in advance. That is my only complaint.There’s also a fancy boutique hotel very nearby where we enjoyed wine with a view from their patio one evening as well. Overall, I wish I had booked here for my return night in Lisbon - it’s close to the things you want to see but far enough to be local.

It was well cleaned and the host company was for the most part communicative. The amount of room in this apartment was great. We did like the back courtyard area. It is odd that there are no paper towels provided and limited hand towel options for the bathrooms. We ran into a couple hiccups, the power went out and we were only able to get it to stay on by leaving off the switch that houses the outlets in our bedroom, so unable to charge our phones in our room. While someone was responsive with some suggestions on how to mess with the breaker, no one was sent to fix or address the power issue. Something to keep in mind, you are at the top of the hill, to get to the main square/ocean, you have very steep hills or an aggressive amount of stairs. There is a little market right down the street that does offer luggage storage if you arrive early.

Issues with check in. Property manager refused to share check-in instructions until 3 hours before arrival. Coming from Seattle, 17 hour travel, did not want the hassle of poor internet, etc. to keep us from accessing unity. I tried to explain this multiple times but they were inflexible. This went against the VRBO/reservation which stated we would get instructions 3 days ahead of time. Minor issue with coffee maker, no coffee capsules, and no support from management on what kind specifically to purchase. Minor because it's just a coffee maker. But, if you advertise a coffee maker I would assume there would be coffee. Otherwise, what is the purpose. But most annoying was unwillingness to help in any way. They insisted this was not a hotel so they were not required to do anything. Absolutely horrendous customer service! Space had a heavy musty, mildew smell. Typical for an old building. Maybe air it out a bit? Some doorways were short. Watch your head.LOVED the outdoor space. Clothes washer was good and then to dry outside. Also, with door open, made the place feel much bigger.Very roomy for two people.2 bathrooms were good. Location - good. Funicular out of order so be ready for much walking up steep hills to get to Avenida Liberdades.Loved the neighborhood. Uber will drive right up to the apartment.

Très bon séjour dans cet appartement. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le jardin ombragé et son calme malgré la proximité du centre-ville. Prévoir de bonnes chaussures pour visiter Lisbonne, le quartier est en pente et les trottoirs un peu glissants ;)
