Chiado 1 is located at Travessa Joao de Deus, 12, 2nd floor (no elevator), in the desirable Chiado area. The heart of Lisbon, a trendy, vivid fashionable part of town.
Location is unbeatable: within minutes walking distance you will find all types of restaurants, fado houses, luxury shops, latest fashion bars, clubs, theatres, supermarkets, neighbourhood grocery stores and small cafes.
The flat is a great starting point to discover Lisbon: many points of interest are just outside the front door and within 3 to 5 minutes walk you will find the National Theatre, the City Hall Theatre, Trindade Theatre and the Opera House, as well as the Baixa/Chiado Metro Station and the famous 28 tram stops. Railway station to Sintra is also a 3 minute walk. Railway station to Estoril/Cascais beaches is 10 minutes walking distance.

Chiado 1 is a charming 2 bedrooms apartment in a building built in the year 2000.
Decoration is refined, some how minimalist but very cozy.
Rooms are very comfortable with built in closets and the living room is spacious with a separated dinning area.
Kitchen is fully equipped and easy to use. The whole flat is very well equipped: 2 cable TV, DVD, 2 Hi-Fi, Wi-Fi and hot tub.
There is reversible (heat and cold) air conditioner in both bedrooms and in the living room.
Last but not the least, the flat comes with a parking place located in a public car parking 3 minutes away. A real luxury in centre town!

We had a great 5 night stay at Luxury apartment in Chiado. We loved the location-very close to many of the historic sites you want to see in Lisbon and within easy walking distance of many restaurants. It was also a short walk down to the river and ride shares are readily available if you don't want to walk back up. The apartment is modern, clean and very well appointed. Our host met us and gave us all the info we needed, including a map with the location of breakfast spots, transportation hubs, etc. Highly recommend a stay at Luxury apartment in Chiado!

The introduction from Mario was excellent with explanation of all facilities, even accompanied us to the car park, we have never experienced this with any other booking site, so much appreciated. Everything we needed was provided, the property was clean and beds comfortable. The airconditioning was also much appreciated. We could even hang out our washing outside to dry quickly. thank you we really njoyed our stay.

Great Stay in Lisbon!

We had a great stay at Mario’s place in Lisbon! It suited our family perfectly, was well located, and made discovering Lisbon a breeze. Mario was present for check in to ensure we understood the ins and outs of both the apartment and the neighborhood, and even changed the bathroom light for us shortly after I notified him of the issue. Would definitely recommend!

Cute apartment in a fantastic location—walking distance to a lot of the sights and with an abundance of bars/restaurants nearby. Very comfortable for four people. The host, Mario, was extremely helpful and accessible. We only stayed a couple of nights, but this would be a great place for a longer stay in Lisbon—if you can get in: it is often booked, and for good reason I now see!

Great stay

We spent hours searching for the best apartment for rent for our 5-night stay and have read as many reviews as we could throughout the Airbnbs available in center Lisbon. I can say that we are extremely happy with this choice. Great location, highly recommend. 5 min walk from closest metro station. Apartment is right off busy streets , so it’s quiet at night. Steps away from the best restaurants in the area. Host is welcoming and easy to reach out. Great facilities. Can’t ask for better. Thank you Mario!

Wonderful apartment in the center

Great location and a wonderful neighborhood. Close to many sights, restaurants, stores. Compared to other places we stayed at in Portugal, this one could use some minor updating, otherwise it would be 5 stars. Both beds (the queen and the sofa bed) were comfortable. The restaurant next door is great. Mário is super nice and responsive. He has several apartments in Lisbon and we’d definitely stay at one of his places again.

Lisbon is quite hilly with cobblestone sidewalks that are slippery when raining. The location is a 7minute walk to Rossi square where you will be close to great shopping and tons of restaurants
