Chiado 1 is located at Travessa Joao de Deus, 12, 2nd floor (no elevator), in the desirable Chiado area. The heart of Lisbon, a trendy, vivid fashionable part of town.
Location is unbeatable: within minutes walking distance you will find all types of restaurants, fado houses, luxury shops, latest fashion bars, clubs, theatres, supermarkets, neighbourhood grocery stores and small cafes.
The flat is a great starting point to discover Lisbon: many points of interest are just outside the front door and within 3 to 5 minutes walk you will find the National Theatre, the City Hall Theatre, Trindade Theatre and the Opera House, as well as the Baixa/Chiado Metro Station and the famous 28 tram stops. Railway station to Sintra is also a 3 minute walk. Railway station to Estoril/Cascais beaches is 10 minutes walking distance.

Chiado 1 is a charming 2 bedrooms apartment in a building built in the year 2000.
Decoration is refined, some how minimalist but very cozy.
Rooms are very comfortable with built in closets and the living room is spacious with a separated dinning area.
Kitchen is fully equipped and easy to use. The whole flat is very well equipped: 2 cable TV, DVD, 2 Hi-Fi, Wi-Fi and hot tub.
There is reversible (heat and cold) air conditioner in both bedrooms and in the living room.
Last but not the least, the flat comes with a parking place located in a public car parking 3 minutes away. A real luxury in centre town!

Wunderschönes Appartement in Altstadt Lissabons

Schönes Appartement mit viele Kunststücke. Sehr gut ausgestattete Küche. Badezimmer schön und sauber, aber für vier gibt es viel Dampf von der Dusche. Gut gelüftet mit Fenster und Balkontüre in alle Zimmer außer dem Badezimmer. Exzellente Lage um die Stadt zu erkundigen. Supermarkt in der Nähe. Bäckerei auch dabei. Viele Restaurants und andere Laden. Berühmte Kirche und historische Klöster alles ein paar 100m. Super!!!Eigentümer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er teilte viele wichtige Details über die Nachbarschaft mit uns.

The best place to stay in Lisbon! A++++++++++

The location is brilliant! Clean, nice furniture, calm, and the host Mario is so so so helpful! The ways are realy short either to Bairo Alto (next restaurant is Cervejeria Trindade) or to the City Center (just a few steps downhill or the elevator uphill). And even though you stay just where all restaurants, cafes and bars are located there is really no traffic or noise in this little street. Nothing! And besides - the sleeping rooms are located in the back of the house facing a little courtyard. There's a small "supermarket" right at the end of your street. Perfect!

A Great Experience

We enjoyed the location of this apartment. There were many things within walking distance. The apartment was beyond expectation in terms of cleanliness and amenities. Lisbon is quite hilly with cobblestone sidewalks that are slippery when raining. The location is a 7minute walk to Rossi square where you will be close to great shopping and tons of restaurants

Downtown Lisbon

Check in was easy with Mario. Just had to give him a head's up on when we would be arriving. We had a car as well and you had to unload very quickly as it is a one way street and then drive to the underground parking garage. Garage is safe with private key card access for residents only. The place is very sweet. Looks just like the pictures with a large kitchen including washing machine and dishwasher. All the kitchen utensils you could ever want. The bathroom is a little old with a very tiny/narrow sink. The tub/shower was higher than the floor and it was a little hard for me to get out of as it was a big step down to the floor. It would be harder for an older person. The flat is on the 2nd storey so don't bring too much luggage as you have to walk the stairs. It was a perfect location. Comfy beds, lots of closet space. Loved opening the windows to the street below. Lots of restaurants close by. Would stay again.

Wonderful experience

This was a great stay in a great apartment in a great location. We felt very lucky to have found this listing. The amenities were well appointed. The sleeping arrangements were comfortable and the property manager was terrific. Best of all, the location was charming, in the center of Chiado but also very quiet.

Fabulous location

Nice apartment with a very large kitchen. Bedrooms were spacious with nice closets. The flat was walkable to everything we wanted to see. We loved the location as there are no bars or busy restaurants on this small street making it a little more quiet.

Comfortable Stay in Lisbon

The apartment is comfortable and has all the amenities we wanted--clothes and dish washers, 2 bedrooms, plentry of closet space and a house cleaning mid-stay. It's in a great location, too. We would definitely stay again. The manager was very accessible and willing to share his knowledge of the city. A great visit!

Très bien situé, grand et propre!

Super apart! Au coeur du secteur des restaurants plus huppé. À quelques minutes de marche du train Rossio pour se rendre vers Sintra et du fameux Elevador. À 3 min d’une épicerie plus complète et du stationnement sous-terrain avec passe de stationnement du proprio qui est incluse dans le prix. Proprio très réactif (nous avions un pépin avec le wi-fi et il est venu aussitôt pour le régler.)

Lovely Place with Great Location

We were very comfortable and pleased with our stay. The apartment was perfect for our family of four—clean and well decorated, plenty of space, comfortable beds, and all the amenities we needed. Mario is a very communicative and accommodating host, as well. The location couldn’t be better! Easy access to what we desired in the city, but tucked away on a quiet little street. We would definitely return and will recommend to friends.
