Welcome to The Cosy Retreat - part of the Bay Filey Holiday Village it is ideal for couples or a growing family with children.

Enter into the hallway with space to hang your gear after a day at the beach!

Off the hallway is a family bathroom with shower over and a spacious bedroom with comfy super king size bed and lots of storage.

In the lounge diner you will find a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, 3* freezer box, washer dryer, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave plus plenty of cookware for family breaks.

The dining area comfortably sits 3 at the bar type table.

The lounge area features a large TV (SMART) with 2 comfy sofas (one a sofa bed)

The apartment is incredibly dog friendly. Please bring your own throws / covers to protect the sofa(s) and bed

Travel Cot and High Chair are available for use free of charge (own bedding required).

We leave a few games for our guests to use. This warm and cosy apartment is ideal for breaks all year round.

Cosy retreat heaven

We arrived in the evening and found our beautiful abode waiting. We was impressed straight away with the layout and everything. The bed was so comfy we didn't want to get uo and the lounge was as it says city and relaxing. We was 5 mins walk down to beach and our pooch loved it. The pool and sauna was really pleasing after facing the cold out on the wintry mornings. A great find. Thankyou.

This was the first visit to The Bay and we stayed in the Cozy Retreat. The apartment was clean and bright. The welcome box was very appreciated. We enjoyed the facilities and especially the restaurant. The whole complex is very clean and well taken care of. We will definately be back.

Lovely apartment in a great location

We had a great weekend at the Bay. The apartment had everything we needed and was warm and cozy. It's in great location near to all the amenities. The swimming pool is lovely and it's a 20 min walk to the beach. Would highly recommend and hope to visit again

Everything you need and very dog friendly

Had a lovely couple of days stay at The Cosy Apartment, it was everything it was described as and just what you need for a few days away. The site itself is dog friendly with great walks and easy access to the beach. I didnā€™t use the site facilities as my dog isnā€™t the friendliest in enclosed spaces with other dogs so canā€™t comment on those but the apartment was everything you needed and Iā€™ll definitely be rebooking.

We stayed in this cosy little apartment for 3 nights. It was everything we expected. Very comfortable and clean. The huge king size bed was lovely and there was plenty of storage space. It is in a central location at The Bay with easy access to the facilities and the beach. We would definitely stay again.

The Cosy Retreat

The Cosy Retreat is true to its name. It was very clean and and comfortable. It has a nice King Size bed that was comfortable although the mattress starting to show its age. The place has everything you could wish for and felt homely rather than just a holiday let. It is definitely one of the better apartments I have stayed in and was ideally located to the centre and not far from the beach. Would definitely look to book this apartment again.

Perfect for a weekend away

We had a really lovely 2 night stay at the Cozy Retreat. It was small but comfortable for the 3 of us, with our teenager sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room. Excellent condition and easy access to the beach and a short drive to Filey town centre. Free access to the swimming pool with small sauna and steam room. We didn't visit the pub/restaurant on site.

Winter stay at The Cosy Retreat

Fabulous winter stay at The Cosy Retreat. A lovely apartment which was cosy and warm on a cold December week. The thermostat was easy to use and the place heated up so quickly. The apartment is a few minutes walk from the pub which serves food all day and also a few minutes walk from the swimming pool/sauna/steam room which we used every day. The apartment is a five minute walk from the bus stop and so we used the bus to visit Filey, Bridlington and Scarborough, rather than driving and we found this very convenient. We ate out most of the time but there was plenty of baking trays, pans, crockery and cutlery in the drawers which were all clean. Everything worked as it should and was in good condition. The bed was massive and very comfy. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

Grreat for a short self-catering break with the dog.

Lovely, clean, modern 1st floor apartment. Well equipped for self-catering. Comfy lounge and very comfy huge bed, We had a problem with the shower temperature but after a quick call to Anthony, a plumber arrived the same morning to fix it. Short walk down to the most fabulous beach - up to 6 miles long at low tide! Great admin/comms throughout. Highly recommended.

Well appointed apartment on great site within walking distance of all amenities

Small apartment but well equipped with everything you may need for few days away. Do need to take essentials (washing up liquid etc). Bed huge & so comfy. Unfortunately when we went to use some of the kitchen equipment (ie, mugs, cutlery etc) this had been put away dirty-so we ended up cleaning items before we used them. The oven trays & possibly oven wasnā€™t very clean-but we didnā€™t use these so didnā€™t clean them. The Management team are extremely helpful & you can contact them for the slightest thing & they will help. We would definitely book again.

Lovely place to stay very clean good accommodation very quiet everything you need and parking just off from our stay all well lit and clean a shop on site which is well stocked and some lovely areas to walk around only thing I think lets it down is the on sight bar very expensive and food not very good given itā€™s central position it should pull in people we have booked for September too so looking forward to coming back to Filey lovely place
