Welcome to Casa Crusoe - part of the Bay Filey Holiday Village it is ideal for couples or a growing family with children.

Enter into the hallway with space to hang your gear after a day at the beach!

Decorated throughout in late 2023 to a high standard with other refurbishments this is ideal for family breaks!

Off the hallway is a family bathroom with shower over and a spacious bedroom with comfy king size bed and lots of storage.

In the lounge diner you will find a fully equipped kitchen with fridge, 3* freezer box, washer dryer, dishwasher, oven, hob, coffee machine (see below) and microwave plus plenty of cookware for family breaks.

The dining area comfortably sits 4 at the circular table.

The lounge area features a large TV (SMART) with comfy leather sofa (sofa bed) which can be selected at checkout for use for children or a third / fourth guest. In addition is a lovely chair for the 3rd guests.

Travel Cot and High Chair are available for use free of charge (own bedding required).

We leave a few games for our guests to use. This warm and cosy apartment is ideal for breaks all year round.

Our stay at the the bay was just what we needed,the apartment had every that we could possibly need and more welcome package was much appreciated, weather was lovely walk was good. The pub on site bit pricey but really nice to sit out. Would defiantly recommend and would book again for same apartment.

A lovely May Bank Holiday

Perfect location. Ideal for couples. Stunning beach’s and 30 minute walk into Filey. Pub, shop and leisure centre on site. Would definitely recommend and we will be returning soon.

Short Break

Booked a few days away and stayed at Anchor Bay holiday village. Location was superb, within easy reach of Filey, Flamborough Head and the beautiful Yorkshire coast. We were pleasantly surprised with the accommodation it had every thing you needed for a self catering holiday. The village is itself is quiet and very well maintained the facilities are good all staff we came in contact with were very pleasant and welcoming. Plenty of pubs serving good food within a short drive. I would highly recommend the holiday village we will certainly be returning.

Lovely weekend

The apartment is lovely, comfortable, well equipped and a great base to explore. It was a nice place to go back to at the end of the day after exploring the beautiful east coast and beach walks. Being elderly we did not realise the distance to Filey town center and beach but this did spoil or holiday.accommodation first class every thing you need.pub and shop very handy

Short break away

We had a lovely short break in Casa Crusoe, when we arrived there were a couple of issues which we reported to Anthony and they were resolved the next day. Nice welcome pack for immediate needs, tea,coffee etc along with fresh cloths and scourer. The sites facilities are great with a real eclectic mix of properties and central for the East coast resorts.

Family break

Lovely stay, complex was spotless as an elder couple a slip mat in the bath would have been ideal (we bought one in Filey ) the apartment was lovely with all modern fittings & fixtures great to have a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The only complaint I have is the rubber seal at the bottom of the glass shower screen needs replacing as it was black with soap scum

A great little place to stay

We had a lovely time in this apartment. Very clean and comfortable. It was a bit tight with the sofa bed out but we were aware of that. It could do with a non slip mat for the bath just in case!! There wasn't too much crockery etc so we did have to keep putting the dishwasher on but otherwise everything was great and we would recommend a stay here as it was close to all the amenities. A lovely little apartment and very clean.

Lovely location

We enjoyed our short stay at The Bay. Apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. It was before Easter and it was very quiet. We used the pool but nothing else as we used the location to visit places around us. The only issues were the roller blinds didn't work and as the bathroom window was next to the apartment block entrance we felt a little exposed when the lights were on. Also there was no leisure pass to be seen. Apart from that it was great

A wet weekend in Filey Bay

Our stay in Casa Crusoe was very comfortable and warm, given the wet weather we experienced during our stay and would happily recommend it. The apartment was well kitted out, although I would suggest an instruction leaflet for the oven would be very useful. Everything worked well that we used and the location is excellent. Despite the weather we got out for walks in the Bay and surrounding countryside and it is literally a five minute drive to Filey itself a delightful small traditional seaside town with lovely Fish Restaurant and several good coffee shops, we liked the Coffee Shed and Inghams Fish Restaurant the best. The Bed was comfortable and the shower hot and powerful. The Bay village is well laid out with directions, and while we did not use the facilities very much the staff in them were helpful and friendly. The whole village feels peaceful and the different property styles enhanced the feeling of being away. We will certainly keep Bay Village on our Radar for ourselves and with family if the occasion arises. Thankyou Anthony and all the team.

A good stay but a few niggles

First impressions on arriving at the bay were that this was a lovely site. On entering accommodation, which we did at around 4.30, the floor had clearly been the last thing cleaned as it wasn’t just wet but there were puddles on the floor!! Throughout the hallway and the main living kitchen area. As we removed our shoes to ensure this them didn’t become muddy we got our socks soaking!! On unpacking, in the kitchen there is not one cupboard space suitable for dried food items or items such as bread. All drawers had kitchen items in as did all the cupboards except the one under the sink which is not appropriate to put food items in and a skinny unit with a piping in. All the blinds had been pulled up and tied and when we went to put them down all sets were extremely dusty!!! Could I suggest that they a given a quick dust as part of the cleaning regime?? It would literally take 2 mins per set!!! On arrival we couldn’t find the welcome book. We looked in all the cupboards in the living area and not to be found! Therefore we didn’t know the location on the wifi password. I checked the router, and it was under a part the slides out on the back, but again not an easy find. We did find the welcome booklet eventually later that evening in a kitchen drawer under several chopping boards! I have left it in the living area on one of the units, and would suggest for future bookings it is left visible! Noise is a bit of an issue in the bedroom. With it being on the main road traffic noise is very audible. And as it is also close to the front door we could also hear others coming in later in the night as the front entrance is communal. I also initially booked for 2 adults and 1 child, fully aware I would need to pay for additional bedding for sofa bed or bring my own. Towels only left for 2 guests. As it happened the other adult ended up not being able to join us so no issue, but if anyone else is expecting towels for all guests, take some of your own just incase! Overall the accommodation was very well maintained, except the few niggles I have described. It had clearly recently been decorated as we could smell paint! Decor all lovely. Would I stay in casa crusoe again, probably not. Too many niggles for me and the noise in the bedroom is just too much of a no for me! I would however stay on the bay in future. If you’re not bothered by noise then I would highly recommend casa crusoe.

Thanks for your review - we are glad you had a good stay. In terms of your niggles Wet floor - we always mop ourselves out - i.e. it is the last thing to be done especially given the atrocious weather at the moment - this was done to ensure it was clean for you so I hope you understand we do this to ensure high standards. Kitchen - as a one bedroom apartment we want to give you as many features as possible including built in microwave, oven, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine so this does impact cupboard space. We will look to re-arrange a few things so you dont have to put food on the worktop in the future. Booklet - the last guests must have put this away - we do say you are to leave this out and am grateful you did. However you say you couldn't find the wifi code - this had been emailed to you 3 times prior to your arrival (its on the front of the booklet) and it is also displayed on the poster in the property marked "Wifi code" - so I am sorry you didn't find this. Towels - there is bedding and towels provided for the third guest - these are left in the bedroom cupboard for you and we always leave these when there are more than 2 guests. The noise levels - the parade is not a "main road" - it is the main road on the bay village but not like a high street in a town centre - there are over 100 properties on this road and we never normally have any issues so I do apologise if there were any for you. Our stay

The apartment was really lovely Very comfortable Had all the amenities we needed. In a very good location Very clean and if a good standard. Except the main bling in the bedroom opened up but we could not shut it. It was also really dirty and full of dust. The blind in the kitchen was also really dirty, covered in grease and dust too. Other than that it was lovely.

We have immediately got the housekeepers to go back and remedy this and please if you do stay with us again take us up on our 24/7 service and we would have come round and rectified this minor issue for you within 10 minutes.
