High ceilings, whitewashed walls, terracotta and wooden floors and shabby chic furniture give it a distinctive Florentine charm. Located in a 16th century building, the Peacock’s Nest is tucked away in a maze of a little streets, a safe distance away from large tourist crowds. There is a host of great cafés, restaurants and shops nearby. All of the city’s main landmarks, as well as the train, tram and bus stations, are within a short walk. This property is ideal for people who are looking for a centrally located and yet quiet space for romantic or creative getaways, longer stays and remote working arrangements. It allows guests to experience local life rather than just visit tourist attractions.



There is no lift. Reaching this top floor apartment requires four flights of stairs and 80 steps. The ‘Peacock’s Nest’ is therefore not recommended to guests with mobility issues. It is not child proof and children below the age of 14 are not allowed. One king size bed only. For 1 or 2 people. No additional guests permitted. The flat is located in a residential building inhabited by Florentine families. Guests are expected to behave in a considerate manner and respect the tranquility of the place. Traffic in the historic center is reserved for residents. Guests coming by car will have to book a spot in a private parking ahead of their stay to be allowed in. Cost varies per season (20-30 euros per day). We can recommend several parking lots within a 15-minute walk. There is a supermarket 3 minutes away.
