Great location

2 short flights of stairs for people in shape, the small centrally located apt is great for a short stay. Great for 2 people. We were 4 and felt a little crowded but made it work. The mattresses were great, very comfortable.

Very enjoyable stay

Perfectly located with close access to train station and many points of interest. Francesca and Simonetta were very attentive and helpful. The apartment was very comfortable with all that we needed. Can highly recommend. Will come again!

This apartment is in the heart of Florence and a great spot to call home when visiting the city. It's a 6min walk from the train station with wonderful cafes close by. The space was clean and quiet. Mercato Centrale Firenze is a few blocks away making it very easy to purchase groceries for a meal in. Francesca is a fabulous hostess and was extremely accommodating with my travel delays from the U.S. I highly recommend this space for one/two individuals or a family of three (might be a little cramped for older children).

Nice apartment close to everything!

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment for 4 nights. Close to various unique sites, shopping and many places to eat. Just a short walk from the train station which was great as we were going to move onto Rome after our visit here.

Fantastic Stay in Florence

Lovely apartment in great location near the train station and in easy walking distance to all the key attractions. Very quiet and comfortable with everything you need. Added bonuses of washing machine and second toilet. This was perfect for our family of 4 with two teens.

Fabulous apartment

Fabulous apartment in a fantastic location. Close to train station & yet an easy walk to anywhere in Florence. The apartment was exceptionally clean & had everything we needed including great cooking facilities. Close to the Mercato Centrale, great restaurants, shops, attractions. Excellent communication from the hosts. I would highly recommend this property.

good except couldn't reach owner after 10 pm

Overall we were having a great experience, but the second night after we had gone on a 13 hour tour we came back to the apartment to no lights in the larger apartment. We tried to call the owner at 10:15 pm but her phone was shut off, we proceeded to call 3 addtional times, then we text 2 messages, and sent an email, no response. We contacted homeway customer service, and they could not get a hold of the owners either. We finally received a response at 7 am in the morning, and it was an easy fix. We asked for a refund for the one night because of the inconveniences suffered and our inability to reach them.. They told us to get homeaway to refund us the money, so we called homeaway and the homeowner would not respond to homeaway, and were unwilling to follow through on giving us the refund that they said they would give. So a good experience turned into a bad one because of a bad night sleep, no light, no internet, no air condition, which is one of the main reason we chose this rental.

Just to be correct, they contact us around midnight and we were sleeping. But early in the morning we resolved the problem, which was simple (switch on the electricity in the kitchen). It was probabily because they user top much electricity in the same time...It wasnt hot to use the a.c. Homeaway suggested us to refound a part of the night payment (because only a part of the apartment remained without electricity, they bad everything in another room with hot water and bathroom). Refound One night seems too much. Regarding the wifi can appened to have to use out per connection, and during the night.... Anyway we proposed to refound a part by Homeaway but we didn't receive the request . We try to do the best for our guests. Sometime can appened to be busy (or sleeping) because tanta apartment is NOT like a Hotel (with reception and so son). E scusa us and asl the best.

Great location, lots of stairs

Fantastic location!! Walkable every where, we did not need to take public transport for anything (except taxi to Piazzale Michelangelo and San Miniato). Lovely cafe (Pompi) right next door. In addition to local cuisine - there is Indian (Aroma of India) and Asian food also available just downstairs. Carrfoure supermarket (for milk, eggs, etc) is a few minutes’ walk. Duomo, San Lorenzo, Medici Chapel are 8-10 mins walk: Uffizi Gallery, Palazzo Vecchio - about 18-20mins. Train station is about 7mins walk, taxi stand is located there. The property is older than it looks in photos, with low ceiling. Lighting is just adequate. Wifi, AC is good, washing machine, iron, electric kettle, pots and pans are included - as are essential kitchen supplies. There is no microwave. Beds are v comfortable. Additional WC and extra bed makes it ideal for more than 2 travellers (which is why we had booked it as our son was expected to join us but later couldn’t). Bathroom is good, well lit. Ask for additional towels upfront if you are there for a longer stay, we received only 1 set for a 5 night stay. Communication from host is in Italian, though easy enough to use “translate” every time. You can respond in English. There are 46 steps to reach the apartment. It is fine for the daily up and down as these are wide and not steep, but it is torture to lug your heavy bags on arrival and departure. Stairs are mentioned in the listing.

I'm happy you had a good time, due to the low ceilings it's a mezzanine and the building dates back to the 1600s and we purposely wanted to keep it like this..... for the sheets for a 5-day stay we give a set as we're not a hotel facility

Stilvoll und praktisch eingerichtete, sehr gut gelegenes Apartmnet

Drei Tage haben wir als Familie mit vier Kindern in dieser schönen Wohnung verbracht. Sie ist nicht nur ideal gelegen, am Rand der Innenstadt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Bahnhof und allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Sondern sie ist trotz der zentralen Lage ruhig. Die Vermieterinnen haben die Wohnung stilvoll, mit schönen Möbeln und Materialien ausgestattet. Zugleich ist alles praktisch eingerichtet, die Bäder sind frisch und neu, alles funktioniert, die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Accoglienza in posizione strategica.

Abbiamo soggiornato solo due notti presso la proprietà, ma è bastato per sentirci come a casa. Ristrutturata in modo grazioso è comoda, pulita, silenziosa e confortevole, in posizione strategica vicino alla stazione e al centro, permette di visitare la città molto agevolmente. Abbiamo molto apprezzato in cucina la presenza di alcuni prodotti d'uso quotidiano che non abbiamo mai trovato in altre occasioni. Comodissimo anche il market sotto casa come una serie di locali di ristorazione, bar e pasticceria. Le proprietarie sono state molto gentili e attente ad ogni esigenza o necessità dandoci da subito degli ottimi consigli utili per la nostra visita. Torneremo sicuramente in caso di una prossima visita alla città. Da consigliare. Grazie, Andrea.

Great place and great location

There were 4 of us staying here and it was great to have 2 separate rooms (units). It was conveniently located by the train station and only a few minutes (5-8 min walk) away to main attractions (baptistry, duomo). The place was only 10 min away from the Accademia. Francesca was very nice and met us at the apartment. There's a grocery store next door to the apartment. We would definitely stay here again.

Idéalement situé au coeur du centre historique

Nous sommes une famille constituée d'un couple et 3 adolescents. La capacité d'hébergement est divisé en deux parties distinctes sur le palier : un studio pour 2 et un appartement pour 4...il faut s'organiser pour manger ensemble ! Très bien équipé avec literie confortable et climatisation ( bruyante dans le studio). Idéalement situé au coeur du centre historique !

Great location

This apartment is great for a family stay in Florence. The apartment was clean. When we arrived however, one of the beds was not ready, but the lady who checked us in quickly put clean sheets on. Everything was great: the apartment itself, proximity to the train station and main attractions, restaurants around. I only wish the property had an iron and ironing board available! I would stay in this property again in the future!

Perfect Location in Modernized Historic Building

This apartment is ideally located for visiting Florence. All the key sites are within easy walking distance, and it is less than 2 blocks from the train station. The apartment in a 400+ year old building has been carefully modernized with new kitchen, new windows, HVAC, and two full bathrooms (assuming you rent both sides of the central hallway) and one small half bath. Being a very old building, the inherent limitations include low ceilings (my son who is 6'3' hit his head several times), an living room/bedroom combo with limited window light, and several flights of stairs with no elevator. A very enjoyable stay for our family of four adults.

Spacious with beautiful antique furniture in a great location to sites.

We appreciated all the space we had to spread out in the 2 apartments. The location was great for the San Lorenzo market, many delicious restaurants with great atmosphere, close to Termini Station and the Duomo. All amenities were very comfortable and we truly enjoyed staying here for 5 nights.

Si vous cherchez un appartement - situé en centre ville, à 5 minutes à pied du Duomo, 10 mn du Ponte Vecchio, 5mn des gares ferroviaires et routières (bus Busitalia), 2 mn du Marché Central ou d'un supermarché, - moderne, très propre, bien conçu, confortable, équipé d'une climatisation et à la literie irréprochable, - dont les propriétaires très accueillantes font tout leur possible pour faciliter votre séjour, ne cherchez pas plus loin, c'est celui-ci qu'il vous faut. Il nous a servi pendant une semaine de pied à terre idéal pour visiter Florence à pied et nous rendre en bus à Sienne et à San Gimignano, tout en ayant atterri et décollé à Pise.

Fantastico, un appartamento bello,pulito , in zona centrale a Firenze , Simonetta di Una gentilezza e disponibilità super Lo raccomando fortemente per chi vuole godere Firenze al 100% Quando ritornerò a Firenze sarò sicuramente di nuovo ospite di Simonetta e della sua bella casa
