This luxury apartment is located right next to the metro station (L2 and L3) and just 2 stations from the city centre, 10 minutes' walk from the sea (the old port of Barcelona).We are also in the heart of "Sant Antoni", a typical neighbourhood of Barcelona with many tapas bars, restaurants and shops. The street is wide, properly illuminated throughout the night and the area is safe.The apartment consists of 1 double bedroom with a double bed, 2 sunny windows facing the street, spacious living room with a chaise-longue sofa with capacity for 1 additional guest and a dining corner.* Bathroom 1 with washbasin, WC and modern shower.* Bathroom 2 with washbasin, WC.* Very well-equipped sunny kitchen.* Patio with washing machine.The vast majority of the city's attractions can be easily accessed on foot, the only ones where you will need to take the metro are:*** La Sagrada Familia (10 minutes direct by metro)*** Park GĂŒell (17 minutes direct by metro).*** Passeig de GrĂ cia (shopping) (8 min direct by metro).There are some cafĂ©s just below, grocery stores and tapas bars.And especially, the legendary live music and concert club of Barcelona, SALA APOLO, is just 200 metres away. There you can find a wide variety of live music events: from jazz, to rock, blues, swing, FLAMENCO and many others.Bus D-20 perfect for direct transport to Barceloneta beach (you can also walk, it's about 20 min, via the Old Port). There are also night buses from the same stop.There is a BICYCLE RENTAL nearby.There is a direct bus to El Prat airport from Plaza España.NEIGHBOURHOOD:The Sant Antoni district is an area of Barcelona located between the city centre and Montjuic mountain, with Avinguda del Paral·lel as its central avenue.Avinguda del Paral·lel was for decades the centre of the city's nightlife with a dozen theatres, numerous music halls and cafĂ©s populated by cabaret artists and bon viveurs; a smoky mixture of eroticism and anarchism.When the street was officially inaugurated in October 1894, it already housed a flourishing entertainment industry with cafĂ©s, music halls and, particularly towards the port end, brothels. In the early 20th century, it had up to 10 theatres and several music and dance halls in a stretch of barely 300 metres full of fun, which gave the avenue the nickname of Barcelona's Montmartre.In addition to the musical venue El Molino, today there are only three theatres: Apolo, Condal and Victoria, but the city council has recently purchased the former Arnau theatre, which has been in a deplorable state for several years, with the aim of converting it into a cultural centre not yet specified. Receiving a complaint or having knowledge that smoking in the apartment will result in immediate eviction from the apartment and a fine of at least 400 euros. Smoking is prohibited in the apartment or on the balcony.- NO PARTIES OR GATHERINGS ARE ALLOWED under any circumstances. If we receive a complaint and/or the police, security or neighbours intervene, you will have to pay a fine of €500 (in addition to the police fine).The property shall not be liable under any circumstances for thefts, burglaries or any removal of goods that may occur within the facilities of our tourist apartments.Guests are strongly recommended to take the necessary precautions for the custody of their valuables, including the use of safety boxes if available, and to keep doors and windows properly closed and secured.The safety of personal belongings is the exclusive responsibility of the guest.

The apartment is as pictured; however the blinds did not go up so there was no light in the apartment. BelĂ©n was excellent. She came on time, allowed us to leave luggage until 3pm. The staff was attentive and swift in replies. Perhaps a list of “how to’s and where is” would be helpful. Not aware there were extra linens in the sofa bed end portion. There was no dryer and I was told that it was a dryer/washing machine combo. The washing machine looked fine; but the outdoor room it was in was very shabby Apartment was clean; but at close look the bedroom walls were shabby and needed to be fixed. The bathrooms and kitchen were appointed very well; especially the kitchen was lovely and well equipped with good products used. I would suggest a couple of cleaning products for the bathroom and kitchen; so the visitor could keep it clean in a proper way. The apartment was in an okay area; lots of public transportation, pharmacies and supermarket and stores, fair restaurants. For seniors who are wiling to uber or taxe; it was approx 13E’s each way. The staff for the facility was excellent in communicating. The living room, entry way, first bathroom and kitchen were all done well and pretty. The lighting was good. Bedroom was not so well furnished and not bright without lifting shades master bath, nice and well appointed.

Great city apartment in Barcelona

Smooth check in process and helpful agent. Perfect location in Barcelona slightly out of the centre which is quieter with some nice bars and restaurants but still walking distance to the beach etc. Nice apartment. Clean and spacious.

Great neighborhood and location

Great location in a mostly quiet neighborhood with plenty of restaurants and near the metro. Also, easy to walk to the water and a beautiful park. Not to mention a great market only a five minute walk away. The place is very nice and comfortable for two people in a quiet building. We would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Quick Stay

We had a great quick stay in town as we traveled into town at the back end of my daughters Barcelona Tennis Camp. The location was great - walkable to old town and we enjoyed walking to the beach and experiencing the sights along the way. It was great to feel like we were in with the "locals" while experiencing many of the great attractions.
