Blue Velvet is a true gem located steps away from Plaça Catalunya, La Rambla and Passeig de Gràcia. This 2-bedroom apartment is not only walking distance from the main landmarks, shopping areas and Barcelona's best restaurants, but it is also really well connected by metro, train and bus with the rest of the city districts and neighbouring towns.
The Space:
Blue Velvet is a 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom, 947 Sq Ft / 80 sq. m. apartment. Upon entrance to the sizable open-plan living area, this area is shared between the kitchen and living room and is exquisitely decorated with unique design furniture, offering multiple spaces where you can either work, dine, watch TV, or simply sit and relax with a good book. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-end appliances and prepped for you to flex your culinary skills and also a washer-dryer machine. This area of the home has also 2 small balconies overlooking the vivid and authentic area where the home is located.
Featuring an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower, the master bedroom has a king size bed, a large closet and a window that floods plenty of sunlight into the room. The second bedroom, on the other side of the living room, offers a double bed and some extra storage space. The second full bathroom has a bathtub and is located off the hallway between the living area and the master bedroom, in front of the wide desk attached to the living room, perfect for working from home in a relaxed atmosphere.
Finally, another highlight of the apartment is the communal terrace located at the top of the building.
The building is listed in the Heritage Register of the Town Hall. It was designed by a famous Spanish architect during the second half of the XIX century. Despite being located in such a busy and bustling area of the city, the apartment is nestled in a quiet pedestrian street.

Plaza de San Jaume has the Renaissance palace of the Generalitat on one side, and the neo-classical Ajuntament on the other. Nearby, the city’s cathedral stands tall in all its gothic glory. If shopping’s on the itinerary, Avinguda Portal de l’Angel and Calle de la Portaferrissa are lined with plenty of retail temptation.
