This was exactly the stay we needed after a few days exploring Lisbon. We were two families with teenaged children and the layout couldn’t have been more perfect. Both the indoor and outdoor areas were beautifully decorated and maintained. The pool was terrific. The host was communicative throughout the booking process and Verena was lovely and answered any questions we had while we were visiting. Ferragudo is a very special place and we will always cherish the memories we made there!

Stunning villa, thought the pictures did not do it justice. The host was really helpful and responsive before and during the stay. Our group absolutely loved the villa. It came equipped with everything you would need and the heated pool was an added bonus for the times of day the pool was in shade and in the evening. Outdoor and indoor dining options were great for a bigger group. Bedrooms were spacious, comfy and nicely decorated with plenty of storage space. Brilliant location, handy to the beach and into Ferragudo town for restaurants, both within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely love to return.

We were 2 families of 9 (4 adults and 5 kids ranging from 10-16) staying in this home for 5 nights. The home itself is well designed and very comfortable for this many people. Perfect location for access to the beach and the town with all of the restaurants and stores. We paid to heat the pool which was well worth it and allowed the kids to even swim at night. Communication with the host and house manager was great and any questions we had were promptly answered. We loved Portugal and Ferragudo and would love to return some day. Thank you for opening your beautiful home to us!

Very responsive host, and on location manager. The property accommodates the numbers of guest as described. Plenty of room for our group of seven and could have accommodated more easily. Lovely views and pleasant pool and garden. We cooked in and enjoyed the Kitchen and Grill. 10 minute walk to Farragudo and cute bar and casual lunch. The town of Farragudo is quite convenient. Overall a great relaxing spot.

We loved the villa. There were a few problems - they had to replace the air-con in two of the bedrooms and the pool light kept falling out - but they responded very quickly. The kids in particular loved the pool. It is well situated for two different beaches which are only a stroll away and also for the centre of Ferragudo, which was only a 10 minute walk away. The top floor room where the living room, the kitchen and the dining area are was fantastic with windows and light all around. We would go here again.

Fun town to vacation at!

Our family stayed in this house for a week after visiting Lisbon. It is a perfect location in the most friendly little town of Ferraugo. We could walk to the beach, the little shops and any restaurant you might want to go to. The pool was perfect to cool off in after a long day. I would definitely recommend this place.

Highly Recommended!

A lovely, spacious villa in a prime position in the unspoilt resort of Ferragudo. Beach and town centre are an easy walk. Good range of local restaurants, which are especially good for fish dishes. We had a lovely time and would return.

Comfortable villa in a prime location

Excellent position with quick and easy access to the local beaches and the shops in Ferragudo village. We had need of the pharmacy during our stay and the staff there were extremely helpful. The heated pool was much appreciated and enjoyed by the whole family. The town was quiet when we stayed but had an excellent range of restaurants from which to choose. We particulary enjoyed Praia Grande beach - it is an easy walk for children, has a playground near a beach bar and safe swimming.

Family holiday

Great villa. Spacious, clean, great location to walk into Ferragudo (with lovely shops and restaurants and a quick walk to the beach with some great beach bars. Pool was lovely and clean (just was a bit confusing that we had to pay extra for heating the pool but appreciate increasing electricity costs since we had booked). Would definitely recommend.

Fabulous Family holiday in Ferragudo

The villa was a perfect size for 6 adults & 4 young children. The different levels worked really well. Great location for beach & Ferragudo square. We liked how there were different areas to sit & bbq. The children loved the swimming pool. We had fabulous weather too. It was such a great memory to get together with some family over from Australia. I did look at lots of villas and this one ticked all the boxes and definitely didn’t disappoint.

A lovely paradise

This home checked all the boxes; clean, plenty of room, well equipped kitchen, multiple spaces to gather or get away to, and most of all a spectacular location. Easy walk into town for restaurants and shopping and equally easy walk to the beach with great bars/restaurants and umbrellas/lounges. We were 9 adults and one child and everyone had space and privacy when they wanted it—as well as the ability to hi off and do things on their own without needing to coordinate car use. Owner and property manager were both quick to respond to questions.

Wonderful property with views of the castle, estuary and Portimao. Extremely well-equipped, spacious and comfortable. Well-suited to large groups and families. Verena is on hand for questions and the host was prompt in replying to messages. Decor in living area is muted and fresh. Bedding in some rooms perhaps needs to be more luxurious to match the rest of the villa. New kitchen has everything you need. Plenty of hot water and great bathrooms. Have the pool heated. Ferragudo is a beautiful and vibrant village with a wide range of restaurants and cafes. The surrounding area is accessible - Portimao by Water taxi, Lagos by train, bus to Carvoeiro. Must dos:Silves with Luis Georges on his small, expertly guided trip up the River Arade. Leaves from the Quay in Ferragudo.Eat at Novo Mundo and Porta 24. Enjoy drinks in the atmospheric and friendly Tres Macacos.Vist Quinta Dos Santos for a vineyard tour, wine tasting and some of the best food in the area in a stunning setting.Fabulous stay!!!
