Wonderful Lucca stay!

Our apartment in Lucca was gorgeous and couldn't have been more conveniently located - we loved it! Manuel met us at the apartment, got us settled in and made some very nice recommendations for our stay. The entire process from renting the property to checking out was easy and professional. We will definitely be back to the region and Lucca Apartments and Villas will be my first call!

Close to all the night life in Lucca so be prepared! You feel local staying in this apartment and it has a lift - making the apartment very accessible. Include that it’s over a wine bar…..

Our stay at Lucca Apartments was outstanding.

The apartment itself was perfect, more than enough room for our group of five. A private elevator to our apartment, beautifully decorated, luxurious furnishings, comfortable beds. The location is great, close to everything. Our concierge Manuel was brilliant. Friendly, informative and always available to help. The information about Lucca provided in the apartment was thorough and very useful. I would highly recommend Lucca Appartments to anyone planning on staying in Lucca.

Our stay at Silk Thread was amazing. The Apartment was beautiful and the location was convenient to markets, cafes, shops and points of interest. We were 6 adults and had plenty of room, never got in each others way. It made our stay in Lucca so pleasant. Stella was so helpful with showing us around the apartment. Clean, quiet, central, comfortable We found the bedding very hot, and no choice to remove the cover without being totally exposed, we are in Casa Opera now and love that the beds have sheets, better able to control the temperature.

This really is a great apartment

This fabulous apartment, inside the city walls and just a few minutes walk from Lucca station, exceeded all our expectations. It's always difficult to judge a property from the photographs, but I can honestly say that Silk Thread apartment was bigger, more opulent and more glamorous than we expected. The beds were super comfortable with plenty of bathrooms to go round (with showers that really work!). This really is a great apartment - ideally located and superbly appointed.

Everything was as advertised. It was perfect for what we wanted. Manuel provided excellent service when required. We would definitely return. Perhaps ask owners to consider extra glazing on main bedroom window as it is extremely noisy at the weekend and difficult to even until 3am sometimes.

Beautiful apartment

This is a lovely apartment in an excellent location except on Friday and Saturday nights. It is near a piazza that has nice cafes that are wonderful to stop at during the day. On the weekend there are mobs of drunken people and bands playing so loud you can barely hear each other talk much less go to sleep. Thankfully it stops around midnight. Otherwise this is a perfect place.

Perfect location

A wonderful place to stay for 8 days in gorgeous Lucca. Our only criticism is the beds were a bit too firm and perhaps some extra towels would have been good considering we were there for 8 days without any change of linen. All that would have been fine but there isn’t a dryer in the laundry They were very small things to consider but otherwise a very special apartment and the managers were excellent with their assistance.

Luxury apartment in the centre of Lucca

A huge apartment with all conveniences located in the centre of Lucca. We were received by the agent Chiara who speaks perfect English. She was available to us to solve any problems and her service was amazing. The apartment has been completely renovated so everything brand new. The lift opens directly into the apartment which is perfect. There was a small problem with the showers allowing water to escape onto the floor which is being addressed by the owners.

Fantastic apartment in a great location

We (5 adults) stayed here for almost a week and loved the apartment. It is exactly as shown in the description and pictures and the location is perfect for exploring Lucca. The team that manages the property were very helpful both getting us oriented and responding to any questions or issues. Three large, quiet bedrooms were comfortable and the three + bathrooms well equipped. The apartment is a 10 minute walk from the nearest parking, so you have to plan for that when loading or unloading. There are taxis around that might get you closer but we didn’t try that option. Lots of great restaurants and sights within an easy walk. Everything was seamless and we loved the place. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Absolutely beautiful

The apartment was absolutely beautiful and was a great place for our family of 6. There is plenty of room and an elevator directly to the unit. A grocery store is located directly across the street which is perfect to meet ALL of your needs. The location is very easy to access and there are great restaurants, bars, and sights very close by. There are only two things to be warned about. There is no dryer, although one is listed in the description of the unit, just a drying rack..so laundry takes a little longer. There is also a bar located just below the window of the primary bedroom, so expect a fair level of noise until 2 am +, especially on the weekends. If you are a light sleeper, it may be something to consider.
