Welcome to my 3 bedroom apartment located next to Rambla de Catalunya with its large walkway and vibrant restaurant and shopping scene. The apartment has a large terrace to share with friends and family.
Ideally for families or business travelers looking for an exclusive place to unwind during their stay in this shining city.

The Space:
We are delighted to open up our 155 m2 three-bedroom apartment to fellow travelers. Enjoy a fresh beverage on the terrace while making your plans around the city! This is our favorite place in the house, make yourself at home with family or friends. You’ll find everything you need to prepare a quick meal, prepare snacks for a day out to the beach or cook up in the fully-equipped kitchen.
⚠️ VERY IMPORTANT Please note the apartment is located in a residential building, where neighbors live here all year around and it is our obligation to respect their rest. Walls are very thin and other residents of the building very sensitive to noises. Please make sure before confirming your reservation you can adhere to the simple House Rules that are detailed below. Failure to accept and follow those will result on a monetary sanction and eviction from the property with no refund for the remaining nights.

The Neighborhood:
The Eixample is a modernist district that stretches from Plaça de Catalunya and includes both residential and business areas. It is the neighbourhood where you can find Carrer de Valencia, in which the apartment is situated. It’s known for its grid system of straight streets, which was built in the 1860s to accommodate the city’s rising population. There are many restaurants and cafes in this region, which is full of modernist structures with stone and iron embellishments on their façade.
The left side of the Eixample is the largest neighborhood in this district. It's a great area to explore on foot, with a wide variety of bars offering live music and local shops, as well as great terraces where you can kick back and relax over a coffee. In this neighborhood, the large number of restaurants that offer a type of cuisine with a more avant-garde style stands out. In this neighborhood there are the Can Battle¡s three buildings (currently the Industrial School), the former prison La Modelo, the park Joan Miró located in the emplacement of the former city's slaughterhouse, the bullfighting ring Las Arenas, which is nowadays a commercial center, and the Casa Golferichs.
Getting Around:
The location is a transit - oriented street lined with stunning modernist architecture. There are many stores, cafés, and restaurants in the area, and you can walk around Paseo de Gracia in 10 minutes or Las Ramblas and the Gothic quarter in 20 minutes.
The closest metro station is Passeig de Gracia (Lines 2, 3 & 4) or Plaça Universitat (Lines 1 & 2).
The quickest way to go to the airport would be taking the train towards "Aeroport" at Passeig de Gracia. There are trains every 20min and it costs around 5€.
Other Things to Note:
*** TOURIST TAX & REGISTRATION PROCESS ***
- Since 2012 the Catalan administration requires that every guest staying in a hotel room or renting an apartment in Catalunya contributes with a small city tax fee of 9.50€ per guest (over 17 years old) per night up to a maximum of 7 nights. This cost IS NOT included on your reservation.
- National and International police demand that each guest, prior to their visit to Barcelona, would send information of their IDs or passports. This is mandatory, as it is stated in Catalan Law, and all legal touristic establishments are required to do so.
- This apartment uses a self-checkin system via the Chekin platform that will allow you to register all guests on the reservation
and pay the mandatory tourist taxes before your arrival.

Check-out is at 11:00 am (non-agreed late check-outs will incur on a 100€ charge per hour late)
*** HOUSE RULES ***
1. Parties, drugs, loud noise or any kind of disturbance towards the neighbors are completely forbidden, with a penalty of 400€ and possible eviction
2. Please observe quiet time between 10pm - 9am.
3. Respect your neighbors and be respectful in common areas (hallways, entrance, elevator, stairs).
4. Loss of keys will have a 100€ charge per key lost.
5. Smoking on interior areas will have a charge of 100€ + all cleaning fees involved.
6. Guests take full responsibility for any accidents, injuries or illnesses that occur while on the premises or its facilities.
7. Please leave the apartment in a respectable condition.
Not following those rules will incur on a monetary sanction and the full responsibility of any fines from the local administration or authorities.

Great location
Excellent central location in Barcelona. The owners were very quick to respond to messages. Very clear instructions on how to get into the building and apartment. The building was very quiet at night. The one criticism I have is the beds were not the most comfortable. The mattresses and pillows very thin.

Perfect base camp location!!!
This rental was perfectly situated and had plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and bars within walking distance. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. Having a third bathroom was a plus for large family. Would recommend this rental for a short or long term rental!

Terrific apartment
Stayed here with two families - eight people in total including kids. Comfortable, extremely well located, sunny, well equipped, and very convenient. Outdoor space was lovely. Very spacious sitting room. Location was amazing and the neighbourhood was pleasant and walkable. Had a wonderful time!

Don’t Rent from The Collection
We were robbed on the second night of our stay. $2,500 of personal items were stolen. Someone with access to the apartment placed a magnet on the lock to prevent it from fully closing. This was verified by The Collection’s emergency agents. The Collection has refused to give us a full refund despite knowledge of the inside job and the loss/disruption the theft caused. They were unavailable to talk to us all day Sunday after the robbery and have only communicated via email, despite requests to call. We hired a local lawyer but they still refuse a refund. We will be filing a separate formal complaint with VRBO. Be very careful in choosing to rent from The Collection.

Thank you for your review Brian, we would like to be very precise on what happened exactly:
1. The apartment door was not closed correctly as we instruct all guests upon check-in, our team verified with you that this was the case. You also confirmed that indeed the door was never double locked as you did not read our access instructions where it is indicated in capital letters.
2. Our team attended within seconds after your call to assist you on this very worrying matter.
3. After you requested for a change of apartment, since we did not have any availability, you and your family decided to stay (fortunately closing the door correctly this time), and it was not only after your check-out, when you requested for a full refund of your stay, basically asking for a rent free stay after a negligence conducted by you and your group that has endangered our property and all the neighbors of the building.

Perfect city escape
I absolutely loved this property! The pictures perfectly describe this charming apartment that has the perfect location in Barcelona.
The apartment: the space is located in an older beautiful building and has been updated. Beautiful hardwood floors and large living spaces welcome you to your new home away from home. The outdoor patio is large and we were able to enjoy the space as we were fortunate to have very good weather during our trip in January. There is a space heater on the patio but we never used it. The apartment has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The kitchen has all the basic equipment needed. Markets are also close by for you to stock personal items. We used the kitchen frequently and I loved that there were doors within the apartment to separate bedrooms and the hallway from wafting kitchen scents.
Communication: This was the perfect host. So responsive. From before my trip, during and after, these folks were just amazing. Very quick to respond to every inquiry and provide solutions to issues
Location: Cannot be beat! The apartment is just a few blocks from everything. It’s a nice quiet spot in the heart of the bustling city. You do not need a car. We walked to most places and rode the metro as needed. Two metro lines are within two blocks in opposite direction. There are varied restaurants and several markets all over the neighborhood. The neighborhood is very safe and you are just a few blocks from Passeig de Gràcia, which is the high end shopping area.
