Die Ferienwohnung Nr. 704 bietet Platz für bis zu 6 Personen mit einem King-Size-Bett im 32-Zoll-Fernseher des Hauptschlafzimmers, einem Queensize-Himmelbett im Gästezimmer und einem Schlafsofa im 48-Zoll-Fernseher des Wohnzimmers. Dieses Gerät verfügt über Fliesen im gesamten mit Teppichboden in beiden Schlafzimmern. Der Strand von Destin ist nur wenige Schritte entfernt und bietet von Ihrem privaten Balkon aus eine herrliche Aussicht. Alle Einheiten sind Nichtraucherzimmer.

Checking in and out was easy and the staff pleasant. The unit was clean and plenty of linens were available. Access to the beach was close as was access to the pools and hot tub. Condo was nice BUT old. Chair on balcony was broke. Light in 2nd bedroom would not turn off, had to unplug. Staff was great and helpful!!!!

Perfect for small family or couples for a weeks vacation.

Upon checking in we noticed the floor wasnt swept and very sandy. but other than that the place was very clean . It was newly renovated kitchen had brand new appliances. Everything you could possibly need. You can tell the unit was very old.They do need to rip out old carpet in bed rooms they looked dirty and stained. but other than that everything else was great. The views were spectacular. We would love to stay again .

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved the view and the condo was very clean. Beds were very comfortable which you don't always get in VRBO's. Pool and hot tub were great and enjoyed the umbrella seating on the beach. You do need to bring all food items as there is not even salt and pepper. Bring your own beach towels if they say there are some, I did not see any. We would definitely go back here! Best part of our trip was a pontoon ride on Crab Island Dolphin Tours, we only had time to book a two hour ride but Captain Josh made it a great experience and next time we will do a full day. Super great guy and full of knowledge on Destin.

Nice Condo but won’t be back

The facility itself was not. The elevator was broken the entire stay. The beach property was so small you had to get up at 6:30am and walk down to reserve a spot. The bathrooms as the pool were broken. I was Extremely disappointed in the overall stay. We stayed here with family, so two other condos were rented along with ours.

Islander Resort Review

The location at the end of Gulf Shores Drive is beautiful with morning walks on the beach, and capturing the sunsets at night. The staff at the complex does an excellent job and they were always willing to assist you with anything that you might need. The Snowbird organization made our stay fun and eventful with pickleball each morning, pool activities every afternoon, and cards, darts, or Happy Hour events each evening. The special events and parties were great fun (Mardi Gras and cookouts with live music). The camaraderie and friendship of the other residents made our stay very memorable. We are looking forward to coming back again next year to catch up with our new friends and establish new traditions. Thanks to all for a great winter getaway.

Another great vacation at the Islander

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our 2nd vacation at the Islander and it was awesome as the 1st. Our property was clean and well maintained throughout our stay. Had a couple of minor issues with the TV and kitchen faucet, that were taken care of immediately.We ate out only once as the kitchen was fantastic and fully functional. Our favorite amenity was the complimentary beach chairs and umbrella every day. We just put our towels on the chairs in the morning, which would reserve the chairs and umbrella for the day! Alan the beach attendant would help us with our wagon, getting it to our chairs and when we left at the end of the day. I lost a speaker on the beach that he recovered and gave it to us the next day! Stores and grocery were only 1 mile away. It is easy access to the Islander as it is on a No Outlet street. I would recommend The Islander to friends and family!!!

Pleasant but had minor issues.

The view is what you are paying for with this unit. The beach was beautiful but crowded. You are stacked on top of one another which made it uncomfortable if you are a non smoker and smokers are next to you. You can't put up your own canopy, tent, or shade cover other than another umbrella so that was a big negative for us. Other than some minor maintenance issues, that I was able to repair myself, it is a great unit. Could use some cosmetic touchups with paint and the towel rack in the master bathroom is pulling out the wall. Mattresses are harder than what we would have liked. The negative issue for this unit is there is not a washer and dryer with this unit. Then again, we knew that going into it. Like I started, we paid for the view. Since the comfort issue of having our own canopy was missing, we will most likely look elsewhere. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is a comfort we will look for as well moving forward.
