The fact that twoChairs were included was also nice, but you had to wake up early to ensure you got them especially ones that weren’t four rows back. The kitchen was outdated. The master bathroom had a sliding door to close to get in the shower, that was very difficult to move as well as the pantry closet being difficult to open. The beach view was nice and front desk staff was friendly.

What a view!

FANTASTIC View of the water, Location and Amenitites! Check-in / Check-out was very easy. They don't miss a beat. The beach is very close and they have chairs/umberella ready for you to use. Front desk staff (Alex/Betsy) were so very helpful. Great property, can't wait to go back. The condo is 4 stars for cleanliness (could have been cleaner) the propery is 5 stars, they were constantly cleaning public areas.

Destin Family Vacation

The Islander resort was very clean, quiet and had a lot of great accommodations; specifically the linen exchanges, along with 2 beach chairs and an umbrella set up for you daily at the beach. The condo was clean and it's a very short walk to the beach. The kitchen is a little dated but it had everything we needed to cook with for the week. The only complaint we had is that both toilets would continuously run. We had to constantly fix the handle/stopper to make them stop running. They both should be fixed before the unit is rented again. Overall, we would recommend this condo and the Islander resort.

Perfect for our family getaway!

We had an amazing time! The condo was fully equipped with everything we needed! The bed wasnt too comfortable, but beyond that we had a great time! We even found a little hermit crab in the condo. Looks like the family before us must've bought it and it got out. Well it re-emerged and now we have a new pet named Pete.

This condo however has a rug that is so dirty, the white parts/patterns are grey. You can tell it’s from filth because the parts under the couch are still white, also the cushions on the dining room chairs are filthy. For that much money for a weeks vacation, the owners should be able to afford a new rug & dining chairs.

Wallpaper is peeling off the walls in the bathrooms, closet door was off the track, furniture and kitchen are dated and the kitchen pans are poor quality. I will stay here again - but next time a different room.

On this trip we noticed the furniture is showing wear and couch cushions do not sit well. We also discovered 4 dead long roach like bugs two under under our bed. The second bath is showing wear with the sliding shower door rusted. The one plus was the tv with HBO.

They tried to fix it then they forgot to reset the circuit breaker. They only comped us for 1 night. We were without AC for 2 nights and 1 day. It’s was 80 degrees in the room.

The two things I can say that could use improvement are1: the couches. They are very very stained and uncomfortable to sit on. We didn’t use them often, but that’s part of the reason why.2: the master bed. It is EXTREMELY hard and uncomfortable. I can sleep anywhere, but this bed had us tossing and turning all night. All in all, it was a gray stay!

The towel service is such a great idea. I was a little concerned not having a washer and dryer in my unit I had never stayed in a condo that didn’t have them. Definitely loved that I didn’t have to spend my vacation washing beach towels and bath towels. Saved me a lot of money of time. I also loved that the supply beach towels. I fly and I don’t have much room for them. The pools were both great! The flat walk to the beach was short. Loved that I didn’t have to do steps if I didn’t want to. The ramp is nice for wagons and coolers. The unit 703 was very nice and well decorated. My view of the gulf was amazing. The unit was clean and well stocked with anything I could need. It was very clean. I loved that all units come with an umbrella and 2 chairs. Definitely will be coming back and staying on the East side again.
