Villa Mary ist von der griechischen Tourismusorganisation mit der Lizenznummer 1041K122K0246500 genehmigt und wird von "etouri vacation rental management" verwaltet.

Die Villa Mary ist eine private Ferienvilla im traditionellen mediterranen Dorf Pigi inmitten eines riesigen Olivenhains mit herrlichem Meer- und Bergblick. Die Villa ist in 3 unabhängige Etagen aufgeteilt und erstreckt sich über 300 qm. Insgesamt befindet sich auf einem Grundstück von 3.000 qm. und es kann 10 Gäste in seinen 5 Schlafzimmern und bis zu 12 bei Bedarf unterbringen. Die Villa ist ein perfektes Urlaubsziel für Familien mit Kindern oder Gruppen von Freunden, da sie über eine beeindruckende Auswahl an Outdoor-Einrichtungen verfügt und nur wenige Gehminuten von den nächsten Geschäften (800 m) und dem Strand entfernt ist Rethymno Stadt. Um die Sache noch besser zu machen, besitzen die Eigentümer auch eine traditionelle Taverne, nur 40 m von der Villa entfernt, in der Sie auf Anfrage zu Sonderpreisen frühstücken oder zu Mittag essen können.

Innenaufteilung
Erdgeschoss
Beim Betreten der Villa im Erdgeschoss befinden sich ein offener Bereich mit einem Essbereich, ein Wohnzimmer auf 2 Ebenen mit einem 42-Zoll-HD-TV und einem Kamin sowie eine voll ausgestattete, offene Küche. Im Erdgeschoss finden Sie auch zwei Schlafzimmer, eines mit Doppelbett und eigenem Bad mit Hydromassage-Badewanne und das andere mit 2 Einzelbetten und eigenem WC. Auf der gleichen Ebene befindet sich auch ein Badezimmer mit Dusche und Waschmaschine.

Erste Stock
Über einen separaten Eingang gelangen Sie in die erste Etage der Villa und in einen Spielbereich mit 46-Zoll-HDTV und einer Playstation 4-Konsole. Eine zweite offene Küche mit kleinem Essbereich steht zur Verfügung und bietet Zugang zu einer geräumigen, 100 m² großen Küche. Veranda mit Sitz- und Essbereich sowie Grill und herrlichem Meer- und Bergblick. Auf dieser Etage befinden sich 2 zusätzliche Schlafzimmer, eines mit 2 Einzelbetten (die auf Anfrage in ein Doppelzimmer umgewandelt werden können) und das andere mit einem Doppelbett mit eigenem Bad mit Dusche. Auf dieser Etage befindet sich ein weiteres Badezimmer mit Dusche.

Untergeschoss
Das fünfte Schlafzimmer auf der unteren Etage verfügt über einen eigenen Eingang und ein Doppelbett. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die untere Etage nicht klimatisiert ist. Der Raum ist jedoch sehr kühl und Ventilatoren sind ebenfalls vorhanden. Auf dieser Etage befinden sich auch ein Badezimmer mit Dusche sowie ein gut ausgestattetes Fitnessstudio.

Die Villa Mary wird durch einen riesigen Außenbereich ergänzt, der einzigartige Einrichtungen bietet, die das Highlight unserer Villa darstellen. Diese Einrichtungen sorgen dafür, dass alle unsere Gäste einen Weg finden, ihren Tag zu genießen! Die Außenanlagen umfassen insbesondere:

Amazing family Villa with excellent facilities

Family of 12 stayed in the Villa. Excellent facilities and communication with host was great. Bus stop just outside property and buses running every hour or so. Will definitely book this property again.

Beautiful villa

Spent a week in this beautiful villa, absolutely loved everything about it, the owners were so friendly, they even cooked our lunch one afternoon. Everything is so clean, swimming pools are fab, & all the sport facilities were brilliant, we would highly recommend this villa to anyone

Idyllic Villa

We had a fabulous time staying at Villa Mary. The set up was absolutely perfect for our two families as we had separate apartments and plenty of communal space to enjoy together. The pool and outdoor area are fantastic and our kids aged between 8m and 5years had an absolute blast. Our hosts were wonderful, attentive and helped us with any enquiries. The local town of Pigi is beautiful and provides good to eat and a well stocked supermarket! i would recommend Villa Mary to anyone

Great holiday

Visited the villa with my girlfriend and five other couples. Great holiday. Loved the villa, perfect for big groups, plenty of space for everyone inside and outside, and the basketball court, football pitch and pool are all pretty unique. The owner Mr. Stelios is a great guy and very helpful. For €10/person he whips up a fantastic dinner - well worth the money. Would highly recommend Villa Mary!

Perfect villa for larger families / groups!

We had a fantastic time at Villa Mary in May 2024. Many thanks to our lovely hosts, Antonis and his parents, who were very welcoming and attentive. The large swimming pool and other activities were very well received by our family members and used daily as were the various BBQ areas. Even the pizza oven got some use during our stay. The villa description not only matched reality but also exceeded our expectations. With shops and restaurants in Pigi at walking distance and Rethimon and the beach just a 10 min drive away you have everything you need pretty much on your doorstep.

Family fun

Had a fabulous two weeks at Villa Mary. A perfect base for the summer holidays. The supermarket opposite was great for essentials and even warm bread. The help from Etouri in booking restaurants and taxis was invaluable and being able to walk to a couple of tavernas some evenings was lovely. Antonis and his parents were wonderful hosts and the plates of food and fruit were so tasty. We learnt so much about the local area and cuisine. Thank you for a wonderful holiday with some amazing memories. Hope to see you again soon

From first contact with the property owner they could not have been more welcoming. They started by offering us some traditional Greek food upon arrival which was amazing and cooked by himself and his wife.There son helped us with all travel advice and greeted us with great warmth and made himself available all times of the day to offer assistance. I cannot speak highly enough of the family amazing and beautiful people. We were fortunate enough to be in the village when they had a local event on and was invited to eat and drink with the locals from the area, which was truly an amazing night and experience. As for the villa it met all of our expectations and more, you expect some wear and tear with holiday rentals but this place was spotless. We had cleaners every three days and again this was booked in around our party, the cleaners where an amazing and friendly team who again couldn’t do enough for you. We will be returning to this villa at some point in the near future

A magnificent stay at villa Mary

We had a wonderful 2 weeks staying at villa Mary, from booking to having our holiday. The villa was amazing and had so much to do for adults and children (aged between 4 and 17), the pool is huge and we had many days having family fun in the 3 sections. There was plenty of volley ball comps as well as playing pool and table tennis and some footy along the way. The family who owned the villa were so lovely providing traditional Greek food on the day we arrived and my brother in law cooking with them during our stay which he thoroughly enjoyed being a chef. The villa is a 10 min walk from the village where we spent most evenings at one of the 3 tavernas, all very friendly and lovely food. The bus was very easy with the stop right outside our villa and we went into Rethymno approx 4/5 times during our stay to go to the beach and look around the old town. I would highly recommend this villa you get the best of both worlds, being in a traditional Greek village but not too far from Rethymno if you’re prefer a busier environment. We loved it and can’t wait to return. Thank you so much to the family and etouri! Best wishes the carless family.

Brilliant family holiday

Family holiday with a group of 8 family members. All the rooms were lovely and the outside was just amazing. The pool was the best pool we've ever had on a family holiday, lovely and deep (~3m!) so you could properly swim in it, with the added bonus of the shallow pool and jacuzzi for chilling in which were lovely. The football pitch was great, and was a brilliant bonus for the football lovers in our group! We made use of all the cooking facilites available, and need to give a special mention to our hosts, who were some of the best people you could have looking after you, who checked in with us regularly and brought us round many a home-cooked treat throughout our stay. The only (minor) issues we had were that we didn't realise the villa was situated on quite a busy road (but this isn't a problem once you're at the back of the property), that there isn't a staircase inside the property to allow you to go between floors without going outside, and that there needed to be a larger shaded area outside by the pool (might not be an issue for some). We made do with the umbrellas that were available, and given the size of the property there are plenty of different seating options, but we felt this was the only thing missing. However, overall an absolutely amazing holiday, with brilliant hosts and incredible outside spaces. Would absolutely recommend and would love to go again!

Best place ever said the teens!

3 teenagers, 2 twenty somethings, 2 in their forties and 2 in their seventies made up our party of 9. The kids were spoilt for choice on activities with the pool, table tennis, football, volleyball, basketball and a pool table to keep them occupied. The owner and his family were fabulous hosts. Provided some food on arrival as they understand that it is tiring travelling and most people arrive hungry and again we were brought some fresh fruit in the middle of the week. They will also cook for you and we opted for this service one night of our stay choosing local dishes - their food is divine! a 10 minute stroll takes you into the village if Pigi where there is a pharmacy, mini market, bakery, butchers and a couple of tavernas. We ate at both tavernas and again both fantastic food. The bus stops right outside the villa so it is easy to get into Rethmynon if you wish. 2 euros per person. They only run every 75 minutes so you need to plan. One of the seventy somethings tripped when dancing and needed to go A&E for stitches and after being there only a shirt while, the owners also turned up at the hospital to make sure she was ok. How kind! The kids are already asking when we can go back as it is the best place they have ever been! Highly recommended.

Alles in allem Mittelmäßig

-Lage ok -Pools und Poolberich sehr gut -Terrasse mit Meerblick sehr schön -Tolle Sportmöglichkeiten mit Abstrichen. Beispiele: teilweise gefährlich (sehr abgenutzter, rutschiger Basketballcourt), Tischtennisplatte uralt und angekettet -Alles ist generell in die Jahre gekommen. Beispiele: Bäder old-school und unsauber, Küchen mittelmäßig und mit durchschnittlicher Ausstattung -Eigentümer anstrengend und unzuverlässig. Beispiele: unrealistische und teilweise unnötige Regeln, Termine wurden nicht eingehalten - kein einziger!, es wird ständig darauf hingewiesen wie luxuriös die Villa doch ist - die Möblierung und Ausstattung ist jefoch mittelmäßig

Ein wunderschöner erholsamer Urlaub

Die Villa hat alles, was man sich in einem Urlaub wünscht. Wir waren als große Familie angereist und wurden herzlich empfangen mit Obst und Wasser. Die Villa hat 2 wunderschöne Ebenen, auf denen man zusammen verweilen oder sich auch mal zurückziehen kann. Bei sportlichen Aktivitäten wie Schwimmen, verschiedene Ballsportarten oder Tischtennis konnte man sich ein wenig auspowern, um danach auf de Liege zu entspannen. Schön war, dass fast jedes Zimmer ein eigenes Bad hatte, so dass man sich nicht ins Gehege kam. Auch die Gastgeber haben regelmäßig nach uns geschaut und spontan auftretende Probleme, wie z.B. den Fernsehempfang noch am selben Tag behoben. Es war einfach nur Klasse.

Alles perfekt!

Die Finka ist der Wahnsinn. Du hast so viele Möglichkeiten an Outdoor Aktivitäten, dass einem nie Langweilig wird. Der Pool ist sehr groß und sogar bis zu 3 Meter tief, so dass man auch ein wenig tauchen kann. Die Lage ist super. Man kann bis spät abends/nachts draußen bleiben, Musik hören, das stört keinen, da keiner in der Umgebung ist. Wir waren mit einer Truppe aus 8 Leuten vor Ort und dafür war das perfekt. Wer nach Kreta reist, dem kann ich diese Finka wärmstens empfehlen. Zum Check-In und Out. Dieser lief mehr als problemlos. Als wir ankamen, steckte der Schlüssel, so dass wir direkt rein konnten. Später am Abend kam der Besitzer und sagte hallo und ob alles in Ordnung sei. Einmal Abends, brach uns der Besitzer Käsetaler zum Abendessen vorbei. Am Abend vor dem Check-Out kam der Besitzer noch einmal kurz vorbei, ob alles in Ordnung sei und bot uns sogar auch, auch etwas später auszuchecken (vermutlich, weil am Folgetag niemand zum eincheckem kam). Also alles in allem, ein Reibungsloser Ablauf und sehr nette Besitzer. Fazit: Nice! :)

Ein gelungener Urlaub!

Alles wie im Inserat beschrieben. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Gastgeber! Das war wirklich ein Highlight. Die Fotos auf der Internetseite sind etwas aufgehübscht. Dennoch ein tolles Haus.

Heerlijk verblijf met familie

Family holiday

Stop looking; this is the one you want!

I don't know how to express in words what an unbelievable experience the stay was at this property. We brought the whole family including children and grandparents. We chose the property because we wanted 1) lots to do at the property 2) good location 3) comfortable setup for our group. This delivered well beyond our expectations. Staying at this property for two weeks possibly ruined any other vacation we'll ever take. First, the activities. It's every bit as good as the pictures. The pool is huge! We were in it every day, sometimes for hours. The next place we go I'm sure my daughter will ask, "Does the pool have a bridge?" Everyday I swam and played in the pool. Then I played basketball until the sun dried me off (note the hoop is ~9ft, hard to tell in the pictures). Volleyball, soccer (football?), ping pong and billiards kept things interesting when anyone wanted a change of pace. Next the house itself. Our party was small so we stayed in the upper two levels. Beautiful, clean, comfortable, and looks exactly like the pictures. Balconies everywhere, we made sure to eat every meal outside to enjoy the weather and the setting. The upstairs outdoor terrace has views to the ocean and the mountains and never stopped being splendid. Meals, movie nights, playing cards, getting separation for a nap or a book when someone needed a break...this had it all. Also, I should mention wifi: the connection was good enough that I took work calls in the US daily without any interruptions or difficulty. Location: I wouldn't change it. First, there's a great medium sized supermarket across the street. It's quiet and made daily trips for eggs, milk, wine, whatever easy. Call it a 15m drive to Rethymno old town. Rethymno is great with shops, restaurants, and activities and the access was super easy. The location itself is situated nicely within the countryside with olive orchards all around. Five-ten minute walk to the town of Pigi with local taverns and restaurants. Be sure to check out Paprika and Zorba's Taverna. I'm out of room on the review, but I need to mention the incredibly gracious and friendly owners. The hosts have a menu of traditionally prepared, home-cooked dinner fare that might be the best food you'll eat on Crete (they need 1 day notice). Seriously, stay here!

Amazing 10 day stay

Villa Mary

Wonderful two week stay, unfortunately Stelios and Maria were on holiday but Antonis their son really looked after us, nothing was too much trouble. Villa was exactly as described, in a quiet area but walking distance to the town of Pigi with two Tavernas and a good bar. Etouri, the agents, provided us with the best service in terms of booking taxis, restaurants and beach clubs. We look forward to a return visit.

A fabulous villas for large groups

We hired this villa for a week as a group of 12 and had a fantastic time. The pool was great with plenty of sun beds. There really is something for every age. The villa is in a very peaceful location and not overlooked. We felt very safe there. The nearest shops are a 15 minute walk and have everything you need. There is a great restaurant called the leaky cauldron which served delicious food and was so reasonable. The owners Stelios & Maria were gracious hosts and always available to assist us when needed. We ate in their garden restaurant one night which was a very special experience, the food was amazing and stelios was very informative about where the food had come from. We loved it at villa Mary and hope to go back one day.

Great Villa!

A great villa with a great pool and plenty of space to enjoy! Has everything you'd want and need, large pool, kids pool, Jacuzzi, gym, football pitch, mini kids playground, basketball court and table tennis. The owners, Stelios & Maria, were close by should you need and were very welcoming and full of good knowledge and advice on the surrounding area.
