Das KinBrae Apartment ist ein luxuriöses Apartment im ersten Stock in einer viktorianischen Villa im schönen Dorf Wellswood mit seinen zahlreichen Geschäften und Delikatessengeschäften. Es beherbergt die Kents Caverns und ist somit der perfekte Ort für Familien und Feinschmecker. Es gibt einen privaten Parkplatz am Gebäude, obwohl Restaurants, Cafés, Lebensmittelgeschäft, gute Buslinien und alle notwendigen Einrichtungen innerhalb von fünf Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar sind und das Meer innerhalb von 15 Minuten zu Fuß oder ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar ist. KinBrae hieß ursprünglich "Shearbridge" und es gibt eine blaue Plakette im Gebäude, die darauf hinweist, dass es der Geburtsort und das Geburtshaus des Schauspielers / Komikers Peter Cook war, der dort am 17. November 1937 geboren wurde.

Das Apartment bietet zwei Schlafzimmer mit HighGrove-Matratzen, einen extra langen SuperKing-Reißverschluss und ein Verbindungsbett, die bei Bedarf getrennt werden können, um 2 x Einzelbetten bereitzustellen, sowie ein Kingsize-Bett. Hochwertige Bettwäsche und Handtücher werden gestellt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet mit allem, was Sie brauchen, um eine Pause für Selbstversorger mit Ihren Lieben oder Freunden zu genießen. In der Lounge befindet sich ein Essbereich mit einem ausziehbaren Esstisch für bis zu vier Personen. Die Lounge ist perfekt zum Entspannen und verfügt über ein großes Lederecksofa mit Liegestühlen an beiden Enden, einen schönen Marmorkamin mit elektrischem Feuer mit Flammeneffekt und einen großen 43-Zoll-Smart-TV. Das große Panoramafenster bietet einen Blick auf die italienischen Villen und Hügel von Wellswood.

A stunning ,luxurious apartment

This is a luxurious 2 bedroom apartment ,every room has beautiful furnishings very tastefully done with everything we could need .Just loved the extremely comfortable beds ,slept so well . On our arrival we found SO many added extras . The apartment is very close to the harbour with many cafes/restaurants and plenty of seating along the front to people watch :) There’s a regular bus service at the bottom of the road to the harbour too. I would definitely recommend this apartment,it’s the best we have stayed at . Thanks so much to Julie for our enjoyable stay

The apartment was excellent. However, we are 84 and 85 respectively and the stairs to access the apartment can only be described as lethal. I'm truly surprised that either one of us didn't have an accident on them. These very steep and narrow treads, not to mention the 90 deg bend, were not mentioned before we booked.

We're sorry that you personally experienced problems with our stairs but we do feel that the problem wasn't our stairs but rather the fact that a ground floor apartment or an apartment with a lift would have been more suitable for your specific needs. Guests of all ages, including in their 80's, have been staying with us for 5 years now and in all that time we have had no negative comments at all about our stairs. I have added photos of our stairs to our existing photos to support the fact that they are in no way 'lethal' and that they are safe and secure with hand rails either side. We did also contact you to ask if there was anything more we could do for you or any more information you would have liked before your arrival and we would have been more than happy to send you photos of the access to the apartment. We do state that we are a first floor apartment without a lift and therefore, not suitable for anyone with disabilities or limited mobility. Warmest wishes, Julie

The very best of Torquay

This is a stunning apartment in an ideal location for anyone visiting Torquay. Situated just a 30 min walk from the harbour, it is also on a main bus route and less than a 5 mins walk from a good sized Co-Op, The Kents pub & restaurant and several cafe's, bars etc. The apartment is finished to a very high standard, with every amenity you need for a short break. It has the most comfortable beds, an amazing shower & is a great price. What more could you want! This is the ideal accommodation for up to four adults or parents and young children, however I wouldn't recommend for more senior guests as the stairs to the property are quite narrow & awkward to navigate. I would happily book to stay here again and will be recommending to friends & family.

The Perfect Place

What a lucky find. My husband and I stayed here for a week. The apartment is wonderful, extremely clean and with everything you could need. Wellswood is the ideal location for visiting so many attractions and we used the local buses daily. The village itself is great and we used many of the shops and eateries. We were glad we stayed here rather than in the centre of Torquay. We would definitely stay again, and highly recommend this property.

Couldn't fault it!

Luxury apartment with everything you could want and more. Fully equipped kitchen and 2 spacious bedrooms complete with smart TV's. Loved the little extras on arrival with a supply of cake, biscuits, tea and coffee provided. 15/20 min walk down to the harbour, longer coming back up the hill but bus stops near by. Close to a convenience store and a good pub. Would highly recommend.

A really special apartment. High class fittings, the most comfortable beds imaginable, and in a nice district of Torquay. Lovely and helpful owners.

Most convenient location and luxury partment.

Good open views from lounge and kitchen. Beautifully furnished and a well equipped kitchen.

A really pleasant stay in a nice neighbourhood with good local facilities and easy access to Torquay

The booking process and joining instructions were clear and easy to follow Apartment clean comfortable had to turn boiler to hot water plus heating when I arrived as was a little chilly No issues

I’ve asked our housekeeper to check the boiler is set to heating and hot water for future bookings. I’d actually warmed the apartment up for your arrival via Hive but I had no idea the boiler was on hot water only so I appreciate you bringing this to my attention. Reservation Process was straightforward and dealt with promptly. Property was as described and of high quality. Location was excellent with easy access to the main parts of Torbay and surrounding area.

Staycation 2020

Extremely well appointed and comfortable apartment. Quality fixtures and fittings and everything is provided to make it a very enjoyable stay. Clear instructions and helpful information provided before arrival. Convenient location for exploring local area. Steepish walk back from Torquay harbour but great for getting your steps in!

Excellent stay

The accommodation was situated in a superb location. It was a great little break away. The apartment was perfectly equipped.The owner of the property was lovely and was available to assist our every need.
