Dieses Apartment in der obersten Etage eines freistehenden, umgebauten Küstenhauses bietet einen privaten Parkplatz, einen unabhängigen Zugang zum Grundstück und eine Außenterrasse mit Blick auf die angelegten Gärten. Die Schlafzimmer (ein Doppel- und ein Zweibettzimmer) sowie das Wohnzimmer befinden sich auf der Vorderseite des Grundstücks und bieten einen spektakulären Meerblick. Das Bad und die Küche befinden sich auf der Rückseite des Apartments. Das Anwesen ist durchgehend doppelt verglast, was es zu einer idealen Wahl macht, um zu jeder Jahreszeit diese "Auszeit" zu haben. Wenn Sie es satt haben, von der Innenseite der Unterkunft auf das Meer zu blicken, bietet die Dachterrasse einen wunderbaren Platz zum Entspannen und Genießen der Sonne. Die Unterkunft ist komplett möbliert und verfügt über einen Herd, eine Mikrowelle, einen TV / DVD-Player, eine Stereoanlage mit Dockingstation und kostenfreies WLAN.

Home from home with better weather

Wanted accommodation that allowed us to prepare own meals and also be near some eat out places.Also wanted parking and outdoor seating areas and this quirky flat fufilled all requirements.The private roof terrace was used for all meals as weather was so warm and overlooked some beautiful landscaped areas and with a sea view to the front of the property.The owner replied very promptly to all enquiries.A very characterful rental property which was clean and well provided with linen and towels.It would benefit from internal painting and new carpeting throughout.

Nice decor, clean and comfortable.

Lovely apartment, clean and comfortable. We were a little disappointed that the sea view was quite distant, several fields away. Also there was no proper bathroom mirror for putting on make up/ shaving, though we appreciated the nice big bath. Also, couldn't get any BBC programmes on the TV. I would like to say sorry we left food in the fridge, I forgot it. I hope it was of benefit to someone though. It would have been helpful to know that the village shop has very limited opening hours as we went to buy milk when we arrived Saturday afternoon and it had closed at lunchtime. It was nice that some sugar, tea etc. were left available though we did have our own. Very convenient for Dartmouth.

A great location with a certain quirky charm

We stayed here in Stoke Fleming over the Easter weekend and had a great time. The location is perfect for exploring the area with plenty to do and great access to the many local coastal walks. It's only a 10 minute drive into Dartmouth and we had no problem using local taxis getting there and back for a fantastic evening meal at The Seahorse restaurant. The Radius 7 restaurant in Stoke Fleming is right on your doorstep and is also a great place to eat. The apartment is very clean and comfortable with a slightly quirky layout from being in the roof space that also provides a certain charm in the way its been done. The beds are comfortable and the area is very peaceful so we had no problem getting a good nights sleep. The shower head in the bath was just too low and didn't work for us and the kitchen walls were looking a bit tired but on the whole the property is nicely done and to a high standard. The terrace at the entrance to the property is a lovely and peaceful spot to enjoy the evening sun after a busy day out and about. Even at Easter we had the sun until after 7pm and in the summer months it must be glorious. Diane, the owner, was very responsive and helpful when we needed to contact her and we appreciated the bottle of wine that was there for us when arrived. We certainly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it to others.

Stoke Fleming Amazing Apartment

We stayed for 2 days, flat 7 White Ladies in Stoke Fleming. Easy check in, complimentary bottle of wine ready and waiting. Excellent view of English Channel from living room, and a great balcony, always in the sun. We contacted Diane to confirm check out times and prompt response.

Lovely property

Amazing view over the sea, and lots of birds including owls in the tree outside the window. Everything you need in the flat and lovey decor. Not much in Stoke Fleming but Dartmouth is a lovely place, only a couple of miles away.

We had really great time, Diane’s place is lovely, full of character greatly located.With fantastic weather we had , we enjoyed lovely outside terrace on the roof, listening to birdsongs. Great walks , beautiful food at Venues caffe down the beach . We hope to be back soon!!

Lovely accommodation.

A lovely two night stay in this clean and comfortable accommodation with all that you need. Roof terrace area perfect in an evening after a busy day out along with relaxing views. Everything you need is here along with an unexpected but very much appreciated bottle of wine on arrival. Our only disappointment was not being able to stay longer. We will definitely return.

Stunning views and perfect for all your needs

This apartment was a great find just outside Dartmouth. The views from the large living room window were stunning and it was lovely eating our breakfast and evening meals looking out to the sea. The apartment had everything that was required. We didn't really have the weather to sit out on the terrace in the evenings but this would have been lovely had the sun shone. Good communication with the owner, always prompt to reply to any questions. We would thoroughly recommend this as a place to stay especially in view of the very fair price charged by the owner. It would certainly make for a great location for a family having a summers holiday with a fantastic beach not far down the road. The owner does stipulate quite rightly "no smoking" but be aware that this also extends to the outside terrace, gardens and car park. Our smoker did obligingly walk to the end of car park and smoke near the bus stop, but if this is to be an inconvenience for you then perhaps you will have to look elsewhere. Aside from this, go ahead and book, it's a great find.

Ideal apartment for a long weekend

We had a lovely stay at White Ladies made even better by the glorious weather we had all weekend! The apartment was just perfect for the four of us and was very comfortable. The decor is sympathetic and apartment clean and well equipped. We managed to sit outside on the terrace for breakfast a couple of times - just a pity we couldn't see the beautiful view from the terrace! The pub down the road is very cosy and welcoming, the food tasty as well! The restaurant at the end of the drive is very handy, the food good but a bit expensive. I think the only problem we could envisage is the shower! We could cope for a couple of days but if you are taller than 5.4ft it's a bit of a struggle to shower in comfort. But that's a minor problem! We all felt that the apartment was great value and would certainly recommend it to friends.

Thank you for your review. Whilst I understand your concerns about the shower, out of over 50 reviews you are only the second person to mention it., the other being Dutch and being over six feet tall! I personally think the previous owners did a great job to accommodate a shower, given the restrictions of a low roof within a listed property . Most people just think it adds to the charm and quirkiness of staying in a period property and have a perfectly good shower by using the movable shower head.

Working for the last nine years at one of the largest hospitals in the East End of London, I wanted to have a 'get away from it all ' space. I had asked to view another flat nearby, but this flat was shown to me instead, so you could say the flat found me!

I was looking for a 'lock up and leave' in the area, but I knew I didn't want a flat with no character. With it's original window, it's uneven floors and being under the roof of a former Victorian coastal property, this flat certainly showed it's uniqueness and charm. And then of course the ability to wake up in the morning, pull back the curtains and look at the sea views helped my decision making some what!
