Luxuriöse Dachgeschosswohnung mit herrlichem Meerblick für 6 Personen. Die Wohnung verfügt über einen nach Süden ausgerichteten privaten Balkon. Direkt am Strand mit einer guten Auswahl an Bars und Restaurants, nur einen Steinwurf entfernt! Die Wohnung verfügt über alle erforderlichen Annehmlichkeiten, wenn Sie sich nur drinnen entspannen möchten, während Sie den Panoramablick auf das Meer und die Flussmündung bewundern, die wirklich atemberaubend sind! Die Küche und beide Schlafzimmer haben Blick auf den Yachthafen! In der Nähe von öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln und 10 Minuten zu Fuß in die Stadt.

Diese Wohnung ist wirklich erstaunlich mit offenem Wohnraum und atemberaubender Aussicht! Ein Doppel- und ein Zweibettzimmer, bequemes Schlafsofa in der Lounge. Kann insgesamt bis zu 6 Gäste beherbergen.

Die Lounge ist mit einem großen, bequemen Ecksofa ausgestattet, ideal, wenn Sie sich zurücklehnen und den Blick auf das Meer genießen möchten.

Die Küche ist groß genug für alle Gäste und komplett ausgestattet mit Backofen, Kühl- / Gefrierschrank, Geschirrspüler, Waschmaschine / Trockner, Mikrowelle, Wasserkocher usw.

Es gibt auch ein Bügeleisen im Lüftungsschrank.
Wir stellen alle Bettwäsche einschließlich Bettwäsche und Handtücher zur Verfügung und haben auch einen Haartrockner im Kleiderschrank des Hauptschlafzimmers

Der Essbereich bietet Platz für bis zu 6 Personen und kann bei Bedarf erweitert werden.

Das Anwesen ist nicht für Rollstuhlfahrer zugänglich und verfügt über einige Treppen, die zur obersten Etage führen. Es gibt keinen Aufzug. Für jemanden, der es kann, überhaupt keine Herausforderung

Lovely views as promised and great location

We had a lovely week. The apartment overlooks the estuary and English Channel and life on the water is constant entertainment. There are restaurants, pubs, a few small shops plus the local fish shop outside the door. Walks into town, along the beaches, along the cliffs and down the estuary all from the doorway.

What’s great about the property? Location. Walk to everything including the beach, Marks & Spencer‘s, any kind of waterfront tour and restaurants.View. Nonstop views across the river and to rolling Hills. Lots of sailing and motoring and rowing action to look at all day long with great light. Even the trains in the distance were lovely to look at.Kitchen. Was equipped well enough that we could cook many meals at home.What’s not great about the property? Like other reviewers have said, the entry looks and smells horrible. I only gave 4 stars on description of property as it should mention that it is not up to the standard of the apartment itself. We had a mini freak out about it when we first arrived, but then we got over it and ended up really enjoying our stay. I’d stay here again definitely.

Great location

The flat is in a great location with views over the estuary and there is always something to watch. It's nicely decorated with a seaside theme, plenty of kitchen equipment and some thoughtful touches such as binoculars. Sadly, it is beginning to look rather tired and was let down by poor housekeeping. The huge windows and the balcony were plastered with dried bird mess, obviously a problem in the area, but they looked like they hadn't been cleaned for a while, bulbs needed replacing, dishwasher not emptied and there were no cleaning products or spare bin bags. Only one bath towel and facecloth per person, with one hand towel between 3 of us. All in all a really lovely flat which would be perfect with a little tlc.

Excellent location with wonderful views

A wonderful 3 nights where we had excellent weather. It was difficult to draw yourself away from the small balcony watching all the activities including boats coming and going and the kite surfers’ amazing stunts. We had lovely meals at The Point opposite. Beach is fab and town only 10 minutes walk. My only negative is I couldn’t find a bread knife! We will definitely return.

Fabulous view, awful accommodation

The property is described as luxurious which it is not.The carpets had big stains on them, there was mildew/mold on the ceiling in the bedroom, the tiles in the bathroom and the dining table was dirty and well worn. The walls and doors had areas where repairs were made badly and paint was peeling off. The smoke alarm in the hallway chirped for our whole 5 day visit. We had contacted owner who said it was fixed but the chirping never stopped. The description says there are a few steps….30 steps or 3 flights of stairs is not a few steps. These people have an opportunity here which is wasted on this neglected rundown flat. Worst place we have every stayed.

That’s a real shame that you did not enjoy your stay. Our lovely apartment is our pride and joy and we spend a lot of time and effort keeping it to good standards. We did our best to rectify the smoke alarm issue. It wasn’t located in our property but after an evening of calling around we got that smoke alarm replaced that evening, as it needed the head replacing which was causing an intermittent beep every 10-15min, I was informed by the managing agent of the building that it was fixed. I tried to contact you on several occasions but I didn’t get any response. It does clearly state on the listing that there are a few stairs to climb and what floor our apartment is on, but if you are fit and able to do so then the view you get on the 2nd floor is totally worth it. I’m sorry that you didn’t like the property, as you can tell from the previous 26 reviews you are the first negative review we’ve had, on any platform that we are listed on. I wasn’t aware of any chipped paint on the door so I will get our handyman in to take a look and rectify. Just some advice moving forward, you didn’t make us aware of any issues while you stayed apart from the smoke alarm (which we addressed). We assumed everything was fine. You stayed the full 5 nights and now you are asking for a full refund yet we only learnt about these issues 3 weeks after you’ve checked out. It might be worth you communicating any issues you have at the time.

It needs a lot doing to make this what it should be ie a clean well maintained apartment.This apartment was dirty and had not been cleaned or maintained for some time Only one towel each and they stank. None for our 5th person. They sent 2 more towels which were clean. I asked for all others to be replaced but owner said cleaner was now on holiday but I could wash them myself if I felt they were dirty.Fridge was missing small shelves from door and freezer top section was missing its door and there was something pink and frozen and had not been cleaned. Bottom of freezer had no basket at all.Sofa bed which was needed for my daughter was broken and could not be used. My daughter had to sleep on sofa itself and no bedding whatsoever was left for her.Sofa was not big enough for 5 of us, let alone 6 which is advertised as able to accommodate. Wall lights flashed on and off so switched them off as thought might be dangerous.Dish cloth which was left with washing up needed condeming.I texted owner similar message as to you and was told ‘it was advertised and equipped in line with Vrbo listing standards’ I cannot believe you would accept this property in the condition we found it

Host very rude/unhelpful

Property was reasonably clean (but below the standard I would expect) and comfortable (more below) Carpet on the communal stairs was filthy and stank. I contacted the host to report the 8 bulbs in the wall lights in the living area to be not working properly. She said as it wasn’t an emergency she wouldn’t be fixing the problem and suggested that we move out! There wasn’t enough light to play cards or see the food on your plate. This was very disappointing but her rudeness was a real shock, there was no apology. 2 of the dining chairs had loose tops and nails sticking out, again no apology. The bathroom lock was broken. The skirting board behind the double room bed was filthy. The double room blind did not work. There were 2 bedside lamps between 4 beds. I have screenshots of all our conversations if vrbo want to see them.

Ideal Location

We were very pleased with our stay at the apartment. Parking was easy and very near. The accommodation was exactly as listed. It is located at the very end of the promenade and beach, the promenade is 1.6 miles long and makes a very nice daily walk along the beach and back on the promenade. Plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby. No need to move the car as plenty to do. The ferry across the river is just outside the front door, from the other side it is an easy walk to Dawlish. There is also a Park Run on the promenade on Saturday for those feelings energetic, the locals were very welcoming to joining runners. We will return to this accommodation.

Panoramic estuary view, what’s not to like.

Selling point in all reviews is the sea view, partly our reason for taking the apartment for our 4 night stay. The panoramic views of the mouth of the Exe and out to sea are something. Additionally, and not to be overlooked is the allocated free parking, a must in Exmouth. On top of the view and parking we found the apartment modern, nicely decorated, superb shower, comfortable bed and spotlessly clean. A great base to explore Exmouth and the surrounding area, with some great restaurants right on your doorstep, The Point, El Olivo and Namaste to mention our stand out personal favourites. We would stay again when next in the area if available.

Myself and my partner Laura look after 1 holiday property in Exmouth. We came down for a holiday and just fell in love with the area! We hope you enjoy Exmouth just as much as we do!

This apartment boasts incredible panoramic views of the ocean & estuary. With the apartment being south facing, the sun rise/sets are just incredible from the balcony!

The property is literally 1 minutes from a selection of restaurants / bars and also located between 2 beaches on either side which take 2 minutes to walk to. The famous Exmouth Marina is also located just in front of the property which you can see view from the bedrooms. With panoramic views of the ocean, whilst perfectly located around bars/restaurants and the beach - its a pretty special place!
