Very relaxing spring break

Sandy Castle is perfectly situated in Gulf Shores--close to the action but far away from the crowds. Our family loved the beach access and the open-concept kitchen/living room/dining area. The deck and balcony upstairs provided for some amazing sunsets and a perfect perch for eventing cocktails. The kitchen has ample cookware, plates and utensils. Sandy Castle is a lovely home, but there are obvious signs of water intrusion in the ceilings and the walls (water stains and paint bubbling with water inside). I would also recommend bringing your own clothes hangars because they were very sparse. Lastly, the washing machine did not clean our clothes at all, so it's best to pack for the entire length of stay and not rely on doing laundry in the house (or perhaps find a laundromat). Overall, the "goods" outweighed the "bads" and my family had a wonderful vacation for our first time in Gulf Shores.

House is nice and the location is great. We lived that it was not crowded. We seen so many dolphins every morning from the deck. House does need some upgrades but overall nice place.

Getaway for a week to escape snow

The stay was somewhat peaceful. There were a lot of smokers on the balconies that surrounded us, so that did prevent us from enjoying the balcony as much as we wanted to. The pool was clean and for the most part, peaceful.

Great option!

House shows wear and tear, but I would stay here again. We had a small problem with a fan that they fixed right away. Great location with not many people around on the beach which is nice as we got to spread out! Beds were extremely comfortable

Location perfect! Overall could use updates, paint and minor repairs but did not take away from our enjoyment. One negative. Could use more towels . Only 2 per bathroom so we had to do laundry often

Beautiful beachfront home - great for a family!

Our family of 16 really enjoyed our stay. We contacted the property management company twice to make requests and they were very friendly and responsive. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect Beach Retreat

Quick weekend getaway

Took a quick 2 night weekend getaway with a few family members. We loved that it was beachfront, & loved the fact that it was pet friendly. We had a blast & the house was very spacious. We would love to return in the future!

Awesome beach house

We loved staying at Sandy Castle. It was perfect for our extended family of 12. Having the house on the beach was awesome. We loved the openness of the living area. There was plenty of seating for everyone.

Family Vacay 2023

The view was great, the house needed some cleaning and repair work done while staying there and the bar stools were horrible and they were asked to take them out for safety reasons and the back stairs had to be repaired for safety. We also had to spray for ants and roaches underneath the sink. The rug underneath the table needs to be cleaned and we also had to have the benches to the table fixed before using them. There wasn’t enough towels in the bathrooms for the adults, other than that we still enjoyed the beach and the weather was perfect. Thank you,Peggy Bennett
