Zulu Surf Shack - Artistic Surfers Beach House inkl. Beachbikes

Disappointing to have received a review complaining about items that were either easily fixable or unreasonable requests. As can been seen from guests before and after that this review is clearly out of place. To note firstly that our rental beach chairs are optional. It's a choice to rent from us or from any other rental shops in the area. We offer a lightweight aluminum beach chair that is easy to carry. Previous guests love our rentals especially the free delivery service on short notice. We did have heavy winds for several days and messaged to offer that we do a good clean outside since a lot of leaves and debris would have been blown up onto the patio. We did not offer an inside clean and we were unaware that all the windows and doors had been opened to the outside during these winds which left a massive cleaning job for us after checkout. (would have left a low star review rating for this guest had I known that) Housekeeping is not included for free but is available for a fee. We were never asked for housekeeping at all. We would have gladly arranged it had we been asked. A brand new modern washer and dryer is included in the house. As well as laundry detergent and all cleaning supplies. We provide 12 towels. There were only 4 people in this group. We would expect guests can wash and dry their own towels? As well as have managed quite well with that amount of towels plus having washer and dryer in their house laundry room? It seems the blender needed replacing as I agree there are issues with the buttons. Again we always expect guests to ask and we will provide. Easy fix if they had communicated. All our appliances are less than a year old with a brand new French door stainless fridge and new stainless convection and gas stove/oven that we bought this year. We have two coolers in the house. Upon reading this review we realized the zipper was broken. Nothing was mentioned during the stay. Already replaced. Yes the plants have grown and we LOVE that. We will keep the foliage grown and lush as it is the essence of Costa Rica and why our dozens of repeat guests love the Surf Shack. The upstairs loft windows all work but can be tight to open and close as they have a locking mechanism which is important for safety. There was one broken screen which we had asked to keep that window closed (there are dozens others) if it were concerning to not have a screen on it all though the doors were always open so the screen could not have been serving a purpose?
