Great little oasis
This was our first time to Costa Rica and staying at Casa Pelicano made it very special. The house is equipped with everything you need (besides groceries). Hazel thought of every little detail. The boogie boards, chairs and beach tent were used everyday. It was so nice to have everything we needed without having to rent or bring extra items. The back patio and pool is a beautiful scene to relax, listen to the birds and enjoy a cup of coffee. A very short walk to the beach and surrounding restaurants. Hazel was so incredibly helpful and responsive with all of our questions!

Great location & house!
Loved the house which was perfect for our family of 4. Kids loved the pool of course. The area was also great b/c you can easily walk to the beach and some cafes and restaurants. Would come again!

Sweet Spot
You cannot possibly find better rental hosts. The fascinating owners who live nearby are incredibly helpful and responsive. This nicely decorated house has a complete kitchen and comfortable rooms, but the highlight is the sweet patio and pool in a private setting. Beach supplies made the short walk to a terrific beach extra fun. This area was dusty and warm when we were there, but hopping into the pool or ocean allows you to shed all of that. There is a little construction in the neighborhood. Every person you cross paths with will be friendly and helpful.

Amazing property
Everything was as advertised! Hazel was the most attentive host we have ever rented from. She assisted with fresh fish orders, baked goodies and local tours. The property location is fantastic with a short walk to an amazing beach. Lots of beach gear for use as well. Great house and well appointed for cooking. We had our 3+1 adult children with us and did not feel cramped. Pool was a godsend!

Pura Vida Paradise
There’s something special about Casa Pelicano and Palm Beach Estates. The location can’t be beat, conveniently located between Playa Grande and Tamarindo you’ll have plenty of options to explore the nearby towns via a quick drive (Grande) or water Taxi (Tamarindo). Palm Beach Estates offers a quiet, relaxing environment with nearly empty beaches and a handful of great food options within walking distance… not to mention the best sunsets in Costa Rica hands down. The house gives the perfect mix of authentic Costa Rica as well as providing all of the amenities you would want while on vacation… between the pool, beach wagon, sun ninja cover, surfboards, body boards and countless pool toys, it provided everything that my family (including our two and a half year old son) needed during our week long stay. This was our 6th visit to Costa Rica (2nd time to Playa Grande / Palm Beach Estates) and it continues to be one of our favorite locations in CR… I would 100% stay at Casa Pelicano for any future trips in the area!
