Kommen Sie und genießen Sie die Casa Verde am unberührten und wunderschönen Strand von Playa Grande. Was uns einzigartig macht, ist, dass wir eines der letzten Häuser ohne andere Häuser um uns herum sind. Nichts als trockener Tropenwald mit dem Strand vor uns! Wenn Sie Ruhe und Frieden suchen - mit Ausnahme des Ozeans, der Vögel und Tiere - dann sind Sie hier richtig! Entdecken Sie die natürliche Umgebung mit zahlreichen Vögeln und Wildtieren. Playa Grande, Teil des Nationalparks Las Baulas, ist von November bis März Nistplatz der riesigen Lederschildkröte. Es ist auch berühmt für seine erstklassige Brandung mit Rechten und Linken vor dem Haus.

Casa Verde ist hell und luftig mit Blick auf den unberührten Pool, die natürlichen Gärten, die speziell für Vögel und Schmetterlinge angelegt wurden, und den blauen Ozean. Mieten Sie das ganze Haus oder eine beliebige Kombination für Ihre Bequemlichkeit. Die Schlafzimmer haben separate Eingänge vom Flur / Lanai für zusätzliche Privatsphäre und Sie können einen einzeln mieten. Ein Lebensmittelgeschäft und 3 Restaurants sowie Bäckereien und Fischtransporter, die zweimal pro Woche am Haus vorbeikommen, befinden sich 5 Gehminuten vom Haus entfernt. Das ständig renovierte und äußerst gepflegte Casa Verde bietet orthopädische Pillow-Top-Betten, hochwertige Bettwäsche aus US-Baumwolle und extra große Handtücher aus 100% Baumwolle. Alle Zimmer verfügen über neue Fliesen- und Glasbäder, eine Klimaanlage, einen Kühlschrank, Kabel-TV, WLAN, Deckenventilatoren, Warmwasser und Surfbretter.

Fabulous house close to the beach

Great house for two families. Lots of privacy and it was wonderful to have the pool but be so close to the beach. Several restaurants just a short walk away.

Beautiful secluded spot. Closest house to the beach. Walking distance to Tamarindo but the estruary (need to take a water taxi across) keeps this gem peaceful and quiet.

Second time at Casa Verde

We are repeat lodgers at Casa Verde. Obviously, we would not have booked it a second time if we didn't have a great experience. Same thing held for our second visit. The owner is very responsive and the property managers Kristi and Doug are awesome. The house is great and a 2min walk to the beach. This was our 6th trip to Playa Grande and the first time we've stayed in the same house twice. Would not hesitate to rebook.

Playa Grande is Lovely

This is a wonderful property on a quiet beach. Very close to the beach and the house had everything we needed to be comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and everything was clean and beautifully decorated. We would definitely recommend staying here and hope to do so again in the future.

Amazing vacation! The house was perfect for our family of 6 especially being all adults! Pool was the icing! The patio area was our hangout rain or shine! Location! Location! Location!

Wow, we could not have asked for easier access to the beach. The beds were so comfortable and the outdoor shower and pool were a great way to rinse off and relax after a day at the beach. We stopped at a grocery store on the way and were so glad we did. Kristi was an amazing host and got back to me right away answering any questions I had and giving recommendations. Marcos delivered surf and boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrellas to the house. We stayed during low season so transportation was a challenge until Kristi gave me Alvaro’s contact info.

Amazing house, pool and beach

Absolutely loved this house. The beach is steps away. Really have a secluded portion of the beach at all times to your self. Kristi and Doug helped us with anything we needed. They were great. Feels like your own resort to yourself. Also thought the separate living quarters was great for privacy yet a communal hangout. Definitely will come back!

Wonderful family vacay!

We had the best Thanksgiving trip to Costa Rica, and Casa Verde was the perfect house for my family to stay in. We had a large group, but each family had their own separate space which was great. Pool was used non stop by all the kids. And the beach is so close that we could go back and forth with no problem. We cooked some at the house which was easy, and we went to all of the local restaurants. Can't wait to go back...should be an annual trip for us and we will stay in this house each time...

FANTASTIC SPOT!

Wish we could have stayed at this home longer. It's as close to the beach as you can get! My boys loved heading out to surf several times a day! The home itself is spacious and was stocked with everything you could need. The pool was also very refreshing. Had an issue with the lock on one of the doors and the manager was over immediately to address the issue. Highly recommend!

Friends Trip

This place was great! We had amazing help from Kristi, with house hold needs, activity’s and places to eat! There are restaurants in walking distance and several with in a few min. drive. The house was great, very close to the beach, located on the beach access… which meant people walking by, but there is so much vegetation you are still very private. The house is set up for 3 different spaces, each with there own locking door that opens to the pool. One room is just the bed and small bath, the 2nd room has a kitchenette and bathroom, the 3rd is connected to the main common area with a large bathroom and a door to separate it from the main kitchen and seating area. We were visited by monkeys, geckos, frogs and other wildlife.

Good spot for adult getaway

Casa Verde is a clean, comfortable, spacious property right on the beach in a fantastic gated community in Playa Grande. The pool is also fantastic - we spent our days lounging poolside with intermittent trips down to the pristine beach to jump in the (large) waves, and at night we ate at one of the neighborhood restaurants (Cantarana is our fav) before crashing in the very comfortable beds back at the house. The three separate bedroom units function like mini apartments, so this was the ideal setup for my group which was comprised of 3 couples. That said, I would not recommend this for a family, especially one with small children. Playa Grande and the Palm Beach Estates neighborhood is beautiful, so friendly, and with so many activities and options for activities and excursions. We stayed close to home this time but still took surf lessons and yoga classes and rented bikes all right in the neighborhood. The black sand beach is a quick bike ride or adventurous beach walk away, and Rip Jack Inn is about a mile away - very walkable.

Great escape

The house was fantastic- it was so close to the beach and we loved going between the beach and the pool all day long! The beds were super comfortable and was always comfortable with the temperature. We were two families with two teen boys so it was perfect for the 6 of us. The "town" was pretty small- but really LOVED surf camp - taking surfing lessons and eating at Cafe Mar Azul. We did not rent a car and not sure that was a wise idea- felt a little isolated. That said Kristi set us up with Alvarro who was AMAZING! He was attentive to our transport needs and even took us on a wonderful all day adventure excursion- ziplining, horseback riding, tubing, waterfall- the highlight for all. On the way to the airport he even took us to Filadelphia to see the most amazing iguanas. But I would say the best thing was the beautiful beach- great waves for surfing and body surfing and lots of peaceful walks on the beach (and the sunsets were incredible). Did make it to Tamarindo one day- finding the boats was a bit of a challenge but was rewarded with an amazing meal at Pangas Beach club- hihgly recommend. Beautiful playa grande!

We had some pros and cons with our trip. Pros:1. Property managers were very friendly and responsive. 2. Located very close to the beach.3. Beautiful house and pool.4. Playa grande is a very pleasant an quaint little beach town with cute restaurants and a coffee shop close by.Cons:1. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms were not connected to the main living area. They opened to the outside and had to be locked from the inside with a key. This gave me a lot of anxiety bc I had younger teens, and I didn't like to not be able to get in their rooms at night. If you have young children, this wouldn't be ideal2. Check in process was a little difficult - the property manager said she'd meet us at the house, but didn't. The alarm was going off when we entered and we had to rush and figure out how to turn it off. Figuring out which key went w/ which apartment, and how to operate the alarm system was a little difficult. 3. The house was clean but in need of updates, especially the bathrooms and kitchen. The stove was very old, and we could only get 2 burners to work4. There is no true living space w/ sofas to gather as a group. The living room pictured actually has 2 twin beds instead of sofas5. There was construction next door that woke us up every day at 6am w/ power tools. 6. The community does not have paved roadsOverall, there were some annoyances with this rental, but by the end of our trip, we really came to enjoy the house and the playa grande community.

Paradise!

Casa Verde is literally paradise on earth. The house is perfectly located in a tropical jungle oasis yet you are seconds from the beach and can hear the waves crashing as you relax on the porch or dip in your private pool. The privacy is unbeatable. You can surf, swim or boogie board just steps from your front door, great lefts and rights! There are plenty of places nearby to rent boards and even take a surfing lesson. If you just want to swim the ocean is perfect at lower tides with calm seas for any level. And the water is so warm! The house has everything you need to cook at home and there are plenty of small and larger grocery stores nearby. Within walking distance are a variety of great restaurants with numerous vegan and vegetarian options. Everyone we met was super helpful and friendly and made us feel right at home. Kristi was great, super responsive, and gave us the names of some wonderful tour guides for the trips we were interested in. I would highly suggest horse back riding and snorkeling with George and the Leona Waterfall with Nervin. Both excursions were fantastic and gave us a lot of information about the country, culture and the unique Costa Rican environment. We will definitely be back!!!

Wonderful home!

We were very happy with our stay at this VRBO. It looked just like the pictures and was clean and well maintained. The pool was clean and located perfectly in the middle of the home outside area. There were plenty of places to sit around the pool and lovely hammocks to lay in. The 3 separate rooms were great for our family as we had 3 adult couples, so the privacy was a nice addition. The location to the beach was incredible and the beach felt like a private beach. The beach was beautiful and was the perfect place to watch the sunset just steps outside our front door. The property manager Kristi was so helpful and always available before and during our stay. She always answered timely and was happy to provide us useful information and answer questions. We also liked the security system the home had since the home is located on beach access so that added security to our stay. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting to visit the area and stay in a quite area outside of Tamarindo. We also loved the community at the estates as it had many nice restaurants to choose from. If you do choose to stay here just remember to bring in all your belongings at all times you’re not there so nothing gets stolen. The place has cameras as well should anything occur.

This property was perfect for our family. We had five adults and one four year old. The beach is very close, clean and had beautiful sunsets. You really need something for shade because it is hot (July 30th to August 6th.) We did not have anything so our time was spent in the water then back at the pool. It was perfect. It is not an easy house to find. If we had not run into one of the property managers we would have had a hard time. The house is called Casa Verde but there is no sign. We suggest that the owners put in the public beach as a pin so that it is easier to find the house. They mention there is a gate but it is just a chain between two posts. Which was fine, but we were looking for an actual gate. The property managers were very helpful. We had a storm late one night and it fried the cable to the router and they fixed within a few hours the next day. We highly recommend this vacation rental. We had a blast...love Costa Rica.
