Yarra Gem is perfectly appointed for family and friends looking for a retreat, enjoying quality time or staying before and behind wedding in the nearby wineries.

The house consists of a large open plan. The large colonial style windows are a highlight of the house – they open up to sunlight and peaceful views of the front yard.

The comfortable living room is equipped with a 70 inch TV with Netflix available, a digital piano, bookshelf with a wide range of books and board games.

The Kitchen provides interaction during inspired creative cook-ups with good quality appliances, a dishwasher, a gas stove, a fridge, an oven and microwave. Essential herbs, spices and sauces are stocked in the pantry. There’s a smart wifi speaker for you to listen to the music and radio.

Sleeping capabilities at Yarra Gem include the option of 3 bedrooms. The arrangement of queen beds and sofa bed can easily fit 8 guests. Extra beds are available upon requests.

The surrounding - Yarra Glen

Yarra Glen is a town located at the heart of Yarra Valley, a popular wine region with plenty of attractions and things to do for all ages and interests. Yarra Glen is a friendly and welcoming community.

• The Grand hotel offers live music with great food and drink.
• Antique shops, bakery, pizza shop, fish and chips, café and supermarket (Ritchies IGA) are a few minutes walk away.
• The McKenzie Reserve is only 5 minute away, with a large adventure playground and the barbeque facilities.
• Electric vehicle charging station is 1 minute drive away.
• The Yarra Glen Racecourse Market opens on the first Monday of the month from September to June, it’s the place for picking up some fresh produce to light up your taste buds.

Attractions in Yarra Valley

• It only takes a short drive from Yarra Gem to the famous wineries, to name a few: - Tarrawarra Estate and Museum of Art, Yering Station, Olinda Yarra, Domaine Chandon, Helen & Joey Estate and Yileena Estate Park.

• Yarra Valley Chocolaterie is only 5 minutes away, kids would love to grab a treat while the whole family can sit back and enjoy the great food and scenary.

• Coombe Yarra Valley is also a few minutes drive away, you will definitely enjoy a fine dine and high tea in the former home of opera singer Dame Nellie Melba.

• Visit the Alowyn Gardens if you love gardening!

If you are more on the active side, Sugarloaf reservoir is just 10 minutes away - you might want to spend a day in fishing or go for a walk around this beautiful reservoir. Hiking around the Stevenson Falls - one of the Victoria’s highest waterfall can be a fun activity too.
The Yarra Vally track nearby is a mostly flat bike track filled with stunning views.

Of course if you are an adventurous soul, you would love the air ballooning – Go Wild Ballooning and Skydive Yarra Valley are nearby which bring you beautiful sunrise and sunset scenery.
