Quiet residential setting on a flower lined street in an historical district. Conveniently located (walking distance) to downtown and Washington Square. The host was very welcoming, but then gave full privacy.

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful upstairs loft. We visited during the Tulip Festival and the location was perfect. We were lucky to meet the owner and enjoyed visiting with him. Would recommend to stay in this beautiful neighborhood lined with tulips.

Lovely and Welcoming

I enjoyed my stay at this location. The inside was serene and peaceful and the neighborhood was quiet (and particularly beautiful in the spring with the tulips and trees in bloom). I would stay here again and hope to have the opportunity to do so in the future.

Wonderful, restful place to stay. We were on “tulip lane” for the Tulip festival. The lock on the door was a little tricky, but fine when turned the right way. Nice walk to downtown.

Tulip Festival

My wife and I drove to Holland from western Wisconsin to visit for the Tulip Festival. The accommodations we had were 10 PLUS! The location was perfect for walking to everything we came for (and we're seniors). The owner was a very kind person and takes personal pride in the ownership of this rental. If we ever come back this would be our first choice.

Great location, Cute space, Nice Owner!

We had a great time in Holland and we enjoyed our VRBO well enough. It was cute, clean, and well located, but the bed which was extremely uncomfortable and the room was very hot, I barely slept either night we stayed. If I did it again I'd bring a nice pillow or comforter to soften the bed a bit and just plan for a cooler weekend.

Hi Taylor, we're so glad to hear that you had a great time in Holland and that you enjoyed Jeannette's Retreat! Since we didn't hear from you about the hot room or the bed, we unfortunately weren't able to address these issues to help you be more comfortable during your stay. We will keep this feedback in mind as we work to make the place more and more comfortable for future guests. Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback - we hope to host you again in the future!

Quiet and convenient

We had a great time! This upstairs space was just what we needed while in Holland. With so many delicious local restaurants, we didn’t need to worry about having a kitchen to cook in😊. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood in the evenings, looking at the beautiful homes and flowers. We were just a short drive to downtown Holland and loved being close to the fun of Tulip Time!
