lovely stay

We enjoyed staying at Lakeside Luxury: *King Bed, Gas Fireplace*. The cottage was clean and spacious. Beach is 2 minute walk from the cottage.

Sublime September Staycation

Large and luxurious cottage with all the amenities of home but close to a private beach on Lake Huron! Bayfield is a lovely town. Foodland and Zehyr’s provide excellent food and treat options! Enjoyed the calm and quiet surroundings.

The property was very nice and clean. Was in a great location. The only negative was, some of the chairs were a bit unstable. Other than that it’s a very nice place.

This is the best cottage we have ever rented!

We spent a week at the Lakeside Luxury and I have to say that this is the best cottage we have rented so far in terms of location, its facilities, etc. It is such a short walk to the beach, and a short drive to Grand Bend and the beautiful Village of Bayfield. The backyard is huge so the kids had lots of room to play. At the time we were there, we had the beach mostly to ourselves. I would definitely recommend this place and I highly recommend renting from Cottage Stays. Jennifer and her team are so helpful,and so responsive to your questions and requests. And I think that paying the $20/person fee for the linens was well worth it.

Friends getaway

Great home for 6 friends who wanted a bit of a getaway. Comfy beds….ample space for all, and 3 bathrooms a bonus when 6 gals are all getting ready for dinner out! Close to Bayfield which was wonderful for shopping and dining out The kitchen is fully stocked, and the dining area comfy ….loved the live edge table!! Quiet and a short walk to the beach. This home had everything we needed. Thanks so much Ladies!

Wonderful House/ Cottage

With all of the comforts of home , you will be spoiled in this great place . Room for all your guests and beautiful peaceful backyard. Appliances top notch . Well equipped.Everything you need and more .. three bathrooms are amazing.. this home will make you happy . Close to town and easy trip to Stratford for a play the same day. Beds super comfy.. we loved this place.

Lovely family getaway

We stayed at Lakeside Luxury for a week with our family (6 adults, two children, and a dog) and had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful with lots of room for us all to spread out. We especially appreciated the fully stocked kitchen (and the S’mores kit!) where we cooked a lot of meals and the kids enjoyed running around in the large yard. The beach was just a couple of minutes away. We had thought the beach access was a gentle slope down, but it was a bit steeper than it looks in the picture; however, there are also two staircases in the neighbourhood which made it easier. This really was a fabulous place.

New Year’s Eve getaway

Our group of eight friends enjoyed all the amenities this property had to offer. The spacious interior offered plenty of room for our group to spread out. The large kitchen/dining area offered modern appliances for the meals that we prepared on site. It’s located in a quiet cul de sac, providing lots of privacy. The owner manual provided all the information that we needed to safely stay in the house and the prompt response from the owner ensured that the couple of non urgent questions that we did have were answered quickly. We really enjoyed our stay here.

From beginning to end and everything in between our experience was a class act. Great communication, warm welcome card with information folder, coffee and chocolate on arrival. The home was tastefully decorated with all amenities one could only dream of. Never once did we feel crowded, the home was very spacious. It's only 20 minutes drive south to Grand Bend and 10 minutes north to Bayfield. We went to Cornerfield Winery (3 minutes away) and enjoyed wine tasting there. Overall our stay was pure perfection.

We had a lovely time staying in this cottage just outside Bayfield. We brought our two young kids, and they loved running around the yard, and being able to access the beach across the street. We also enjoyed this little bit of separation from the water, from a safety perspective it worked very well for us. The cottage itself was clean and comfortable, the layout was good, with the kid bedroom further from the TV and sitting area. We don't have a dog, and besides some sweet decor items, it was not at all obvious that dogs live there some of the time. We were all sad to leave, it was a great holiday!

Beautiful Super Clean Cottage

Great cottage, wide open. Perfect for girls weekend. Big kitchen table , all 8 of us could sit around it. Livingroom is huge, only one couch which is only negative. It is uncomfortable if you end up on one of two benches. Great having 3 bathrooms and 2 fireplaces. Bedrooms all clean and mattress super comfy. Everyone had a great sleep. Would definitely book it again for next year.
