Willkommen in Ihrem schönen 2017 renovierten Ferienhaus. Nature's Chalet Style Cedar Cottage ist ein Unikat.

Das schöne geräumige 2,750 m² große Grundstück verfügt über 4 einladende Schlafzimmer sowie ein ausziehbares Sofagarnitur mit 2. 5 Badezimmern und eine große Küche sowie eine Bar im Keller und eine offene Küche / Wohnzimmer und Esszimmer .

Diese schöne Unterkunft verfügt über 2 separate Strandfronten auf jeder Seite. 5 Minuten Fahrt von der Innenstadt von Bayfield mit allen Geschäften und 15 Minuten Fahrt nach Goderich für den Fall, dass Sie gelangweilt von Bayfield. Die meisten Leute halten sich einfach in Bayfield und die Hütte selbst und genießen meine 1200 sq ft Deck, die um die Hütte wickelt. Sunroom ist auch da, falls Sie nur etwas Schatten wollen. Oder genießen Sie die zentrale Klimaanlage im Haus an den wirklich heißen Tagen.

Sie können auch gerne den schönen Whirlpool im eigenen Bad ausprobieren und nach einem erholsamen Tag in der Sonne entspannen.

Schöne Feuerstelle im Hinterhof nach einem Tag in der Sonne Sie sind herzlich eingeladen, um ein schönes Lagerfeuer zu sitzen und hören Sie Ihre Lieblingsmusik.

Schöner, maßgefertigter Esstisch für 10 Personen, obwohl ich nur 8 Stühle habe, so dass die Gäste sehr bequem sind. Die Kücheninsel, die sich hinter dem Esstisch befindet, hat 4 Barhocker, die perfekt zum Kochen sind oder einfach als extra Platz, falls Sie mehr als 10 Personen füttern müssen.

Kostenloses WLAN ist im Haus inbegriffen.

Ich habe einen Fernseher im Keller mit Netflix und anderen Apple TV Apps zu sehen. Sie können sich gerne in Ihrem icloud apple-Konto anmelden, wenn Sie Filme ausleihen möchten. (Kein Kabelfernsehen obwohl).

Tassimo Kaffeemaschine ist vor Ort.

Spiele für Kinder jeden Alters beinhaltet: Monopoly, Risiko, Siedler von Catan, Dominos, Karten, magische die Versammlung und viele mehr.

Schlafzimmer 2 - Main Floor Queen-Bett mit Schrank, Nachttisch und Kommode.

Schlafzimmer 3 - Main Floor Twin-Bett an der einen Wand sowie ein Etagenbett mit Twin über Twin an der anderen Wand. Schrank und Schubladen in den Etagenbett Schubladen.

Ein zusätzliches Ausziehsofa ist im Keller vorhanden, falls Sie zusätzliches Zimmer benötigen.

Lake view getaway

We stayed here with four couples. One couple stayed in the kids room which had kid mattresses so not ideal for adults. The other bedrooms were nice and comfortable. The house has tons of space with a large kitchen/dining area. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking dishes, pots and utensils. The house itself is a little rough around the edges but it is a great place to stay with a group of people or family. It has a big basement which we didn’t really use but would be fun for kids with ping pong and a variety of games and toys. We loved the sunroom out back and the yard is very spacious and private. There are two places to access the waterfront nearby. A few hundred feet either way. The one to the south is stairs(about 100) which are a bit tricky to find and bring you down to a pretty rocky spot. The trail to the north is a bit rugged but takes you to a more sandy/stoney area. We enjoyed staying in the area as it was close to Bayfield and Goderich. Also several breweries nearby that we visited. All in all this is a good choice for a larger group of people or family.

Lovely stay!

My family and I had a great experience at this spacious cottage. We really enjoyed the big back yard and fire pit. The location was fantastic, 6 minutes from Pioneer Park where we saw the best sunset. The cottage has a nice view of the lake as well, and our favorite thing was watching the stars while sitting around the bonfire! The host was very kind and accommodating and responded to messages very quick. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Fabulous, spacious and clean cottage for famillies

This was our first cottage experience and we thoroughly enjoyed our privacy at this cottage. The cottage easily accommodated two famillies (total 8) and met all of our needs from overall cleanliness, large backyard for kids to run around, close private beach access, new fire pit area, and new table/ couches. The cottage location was perfect for day trips as Goderich is only 12-15 minutes, Bayfield 5 minutes, and Grand Bend 20 minutes.

Large cottage in a quiet area

Overall, our family had a nice time in the area. The cottage is close to Bayfield and in a quiet neighborhood. We did have a few issues during our stay, but they were addressed quickly by the host. I do not believe in giving blanket 5/5 stars, as I don't believe that helps future guests of the platform. If you are looking for a large cottage with fenced in backyard, this is suitable. However, we decided to go with 4/5 stars as the cottage has lots of wear and tear and access to the beach is 100+ stairs (or narrow and steep forest path) which is difficult for any mobility issues / young children.

Wonderful location, EXCELLENT SERVICE

This is a fabulous property. Quiet, lots of space, view of the lake. The screened in porch is fabulous. We are a group of 4 sisters. The property manager George is amazing. Contacted him early in morning with an issue and he responded IMMEDIATELY and had someone there it fix the problem later that morning. Communication was excellent. George did everything he could do to make it right. We are return guests and I would highly recommend this property.

Family summer vacation 2024

We stayed for a week with 8 adults and 2 grand children. Lots of room for us. Beautiful view of the lake from the front living room and a screened in porch at the back. We enjoyed the fenced yard for my sons dog, and the fire pit was a big hit at night. About a 5 minute walk to stairs leading to the beach The weather was not very cooperative for us, however, we still got 2 days to enjoy the beach. There is a nice gas b.b.q on the deck. The host was quick to respond to afew questions we had. Definitely will be back. We had a great time.

Fall Get Away ~ Enjoyed!

Lovely area and so enjoyed the quiet neighbourhood with a beautiful yard ... trees and extraordinary deck with screened in area . The host was exceptional in addressing any concerns we had. Our long-delayed trip with kids & grandkids

We had a good time, in part because the weather was excellent and we could be outside a lot. But inside was good too. We'd suggest that the owner put curtains over the French doors on the loft level, both for privacy and to keep sunny days from heating that bedroom up. But overall it was an excellent rental, and we'd be happy to return.

My Bulldog Gives 5 Stars!

This property is a dog owners dream! Huge fenced backyard so you don't have to have your pup on leash all the time and we had access to a private beach which my bulldog loved. We used the beach daily and never ran into another person on it. The town of Bayfield has water bowls for dogs outside most shops and again our bulldog was welcome most places in town. All of this made vacationing with our dog really easy - which was initially a worry of ours when booking time away from home.

Perfect rustic getaway for a group of friends

We had a great time cooking in the large kitchen and sitting in the lanai enjoying meals. That second fridge in the basement was great for holding leftovers! Trekking to the beach was fun with our floaties and beach bags...the beach is natural and pretty private. Locals here were friendly about sharing their rustic beach. Evenings under the starts at the fire pit: perfect way to end a day after frolicking in the waves. Walking down to the beach for sunsets was magic too. Ontario is so lucky to have the coast of Lake Huron. A great stay for a group of friends. Thank you:)

I grew up in Waterloo, Ontario. When I was in my 20's I moved to Toronto for 8 years. Some people enjoy the city and go go go. My vacations used to consist of Las Vegas, New York, Mexico and Niagara falls in between. I moved back to Waterloo in my late 20's and I met my beautiful wife who introduced me to Bayfield in my 30's.
My wife has been coming to Bayfield for over 40 years. We purchased a trailer and spent every single weekend in the summer here. We love the beautiful scenery and the Nature Bayfield has to offer with the beautiful lake and the most stunning sunset this country. Bayfield also has beautiful boutique shops in downtown Bayfield and all the nice restaurants and local attractions, I am still learning that there is so much to do here that I have not even taken advantage of.

We decided to give back and let people experience the things life has to offer which is just over an hour from my hometown in Waterloo. We recently purchased this property and decided to undergo renovations prior to renting it out for the season. We have changed the floor in the Great Room as well as the 3 of the 4 bedrooms. With my 2 small beautiful children, we designed this place so we can use it for our enjoyment. Therefore, my home is your home. I am very neat and tidy and clean, so my commitment to you is you are walking in to a cottage with the feel of a home. I would never want my kids playing in a place that is not clean at all times.

I know a lot of people purchase used furniture since it is just a cottage and no need to spend money. That is not our mentality. We decided to refurnish the entire house:

Ensuite Bedroom #1- Brand new King Size Bed with 2 night tables.
Main Floor Bedroom #2 - Brand new Bunk Beds (for people less than 125 pounds please) with a pull out bed at the bottom of the bunk bed for smaller kids. As well as a new Twin bed.
Main Floor Bedroom #3 - Brand new Queen bed with Dresser and night table
Basement Bedroom #4 - Brand new Queen bed with 2 night stands.

In addition, to the new bedroom sets, there is a beautiful wood dining table that fits 8 comfortably with 8 new designer chairs. It can easily fit 2 more without worrying about space. If the 10 at the table will not suffice, there is also an island between the kitchen and the dining room which can accommodate a few more.

We also decided to furnish this place with a new Sofa and 2 chairs in the open concept Great Room.

There is an additional sectional sofa in the basement which also has a pull out double bed.

The backyard has a beautiful fire pit so you can enjoy this half acre lot day or night.
