We were not able to get the place at the 4:00 p.m. check in time, because the cleaning crew had not cleaned the place. The crew had to be called back because the toilet seat was quite filthy with _____. The kitchen is poorly stocked with cookware, if you are planning to cook meals. It could be quite challenging. The location is great, shopping, restaurants, golf courses, and more are close by.

Thank you for the feedback and for noting the great location near shopping, dining, and golf. A few clarifications for future guests: Check-in/cleaning timing: Our standard check-in is 4:00 PM. On rare occasions, if the prior guest leaves the home in unusually poor condition, turnover can run a bit long so our team can restore the unit to our standards. We communicated with our guest during the process and worked to have the home ready as quickly as possible. Bathroom concern: When our guest reported the toilet seat, we responded immediately and had our team return to re-sanitize right away. Cleanliness is a top priority, and we address any report like this quickly. Cookware: The kitchen is stocked for typical stays, but we appreciate the note and will review the cookware inventory to better support guests who plan to cook more frequently. Lastly, we always welcome constructive feedback, but we do ask that communication and public reviews remain respectful—profanity isn’t necessary to convey a concern. We’re committed to prompt, professional support and appreciate the opportunity to clarify for future travelers.

Overall the stay was good. I would maybe give this a 3.5 stars if I could. Doesn’t really deserve a 3, but also not quite worthy of a 4. The location was great, very close to a lot of shopping and restaurants. We had an issue where both of our key fobs quit working during our stay. We were able to get a replacement but it was a task. The check in and out instructions were kind of confusing. Requires a lot of moving parts.

Condo is as pictured. Quiet, clean in a great location. You can walk to restaurants shops in Scottsdale quarter. Short drive to hiking and golf. Recommend Paris Baguette close by for breakfast. There is a nice pool workout room and even a ping pong table!

We did not enjoy our stay in this unit. The complex is just a residential apartment complex. We were given a place that faced an interior courtyard; however, we had looked forward to sitting outside watching the sunsets, etc. The courtyard was loud, dog barking echoed, people talking loudly, no sunlight, etc. The communication with the company is not satisfactory. There is no person to chat with, nor a phone number to call. To check in, you wait for an email. They tell you to enter the garage, drive to the bike security chain link fenced area. Enter a code to get in, then enter a code to unlock a cylinder to get a key. We received an email that it was ready. We went to the security fence and logged in. NO key. No reception in the garage, we had to drive outside, email the company, and wait. We received the notification that the key would now be in the cylinder, so we repeated the process. There is no signage in the complex for the pool, etc. We got into the unit, and while clean, it was incredibly disappointing. The kitchen had the bare minimum for dishes, pans, etc. We decided not to cook there. The bed was uncomfortable. The TV did not allow just turning on and watching anything. You had to have an app for all usage. If you didn't have an app for any channels, no TV. The AC was incredibly loud! People above us stomped. After asking a resident how to get to the pool, it had screaming kids playing catch, and we decided not to use it. We would not use Palacio Properties again.

A few clarifications for future guests: this is a self-check-in short-term rental in a residential community, not a hotel with a front desk. Support is provided through the VRBO message thread so everything is documented & handled quickly & we also have a phone number to call or text anytime. We always respond. Responses to the guest were within minutes each time.--For check-in, there was a delay. We apologized & someone helped immediately. We even offered a complimentary late checkout due to the inconvenience. Limited cell service in a garage is a building/carrier issue common in parking structures.--For the TV, the home uses Roku with over 100 free live channels. Our listing, before booking, states that for Netflix etc,guests must log into their account. When the guest reached out, we immediately asked for a photo of the error to troubleshoot, & she refused & said she didn’t want further assistance.--For noise, occasional sound from upstairs neighbors can occur in multi-family buildings. We offered to address it, & you asked us not to contact anyone. Lastly, many of the additional concerns listed in the review were not shared until 4 days after checkout, which limits what we can fix in real time. We dont feel we deserve 1 start given the lack of cooperation & communication on the guests side. We want to help immediately if there are concerns, we just ask to be allowed to. I do want to note that this guest was not nice to my staf, very upsetting to me. Jia-Li

Just what we needed!

It was a great place, the building and the unit. But it was nestled in a place where we didn’t hear much and it was quiet and peaceful. The check in instructions were terrific and it was overall a great place to stay!
