The property is as you see it. It's spacious, clean, modern, with great light and a beautiful view of the sunrise. It's a 30 minute walk to the river in one direction and Yogaville in the other. It's comfortable and really has all that you need for a lovely time. So, why the 3 stars? I was literally contacted at least a dozen times from the time I made the reservation until check in. There was no need for that. I slept in the room nearest the heat pump and it sounded like a vacuum cleaner was running. It kept waking me up. There are a list of rules by the front door. It's "don't do this, don't do that." "Noise" hours are between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. because the caretaker lives downstairs and they can hear you. You can hear them. I felt like a naughty teenager trying not to disturb mom. There are also cameras all over. I would have used the porch, but there was no privacy. It's invasive. So, lovely property, but the vibe was one of distrust. I felt overly controlled and fearful of making a wrong move. It wasn't restful or relaxing at all. I get that you want your place to be safe and well cared for, but all the cameras and rules feel over the top.

Lovely home

Our family stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday, and we had a wonderful time! The house is so well stocked and every detail has been thought out. Beds and bathrooms were very comfortable and we loved the large living area. The owner was very communicative and sent us lots of advice about the home and the area!

Like Home

I was in town for business. The place was clean, homey and comfortable. I especially liked the lazy boy in the master bedroom. The property managers live below and helped me with shipping and receiving important packages while I was in town. I just can't say enough about how great this place was.

Enjoyable stay in Buckingham

The house has an open layout giving it a spacious feeling. Plenty of big windows bring in lots of light as well as provide beautiful views of the surrounding woods. We stayed during a heat wave. The AC was wonderful. And when we had big thunderstorms and lost power on two nights, there is a backup generator for the house. It came on quickly and quietly. Three of the four bedrooms have king size beds, which is always nice. Two bedrooms are downstairs and two are upstairs. Upstairs has a large, carpeted room with two three-seater couches. It is perfect for lounging, playing with the grandkids or meditating. We did all three! The kitchen is modern and well appointed. A washer and dryer are also on the first floor. The master bath has both a large tub and an enclosed shower. Plenty of room to pamper yourself. The second bathroom, also on the first floor, is a more standard size with all new fixtures. Two porches (one out front and larger one off the Dining Room) are the perfect place to have your morning coffee or a quiet dinner. Our hosts couldn't have been more pleasant. They answered our questions quickly and cheerfully. We would stay in this house again!

This property was exactly as advertised. It was warm, accommodating, had everything you would need and more. I would highly recommend using this property for your stay in this area.
