Modern cabin with private beach access in Blind Bay!

Teilweise direkt am Shuswap Lake in Blind Bay gelegen. Diese maßgeschneiderte Hütte bietet Ruhe und Beschaulichkeit, eingebettet in einen Zedernwald. Setz dich auf die Veranda und lausche dem Plätschern des vorbeifließenden Baches. Die umlaufende Terrasse bietet einen Blick auf den See und lädt zum Grillen und Essen im Freien ein. Tritt ein und spüre die rustikale Wärme des Innenraums mit Wänden aus Zedernholzplanken, maßgefertigten Verkleidungen aus Scheunenholz und Küchenschränken. Gewölbte Decken mit Tannensparren und ein Loft für zusätzlichen Schlafplatz. Das Badezimmer ist eine kleine Oase mit einer maßgefertigten Vintage-Badewanne, die vor einem großen Panoramafenster steht, von dem aus man auf den Wald blickt. Zum See sind es 5 Minuten zu Fuß bergauf und bergab über einen steilen Hügel. Überquere einfach die Eagle Bay Road zu unserem Privatstrand. Bitte BEACHTET: Die Hütte ist nicht klimatisiert, aber es gibt 2 große Deckenventilatoren und Schatten durch den Wald, um eine angenehme Innentemperatur zu gewährleisten.

Had a fantastic stay! This was the perfect place for our family vacation - swimming, fishing, paddle boarding all just down the hill from the cabin. Lots to do in the area and loved being able to make our own meals most evenings to keep things economical. Adults were able to relax while kids stayed entertained - 10/10!!!

Beautiful property, wonderful hosts, amazing lake location

We really enjoyed our stay in a beautiful part of the beautiful Shuswap lake. We loved having the beach so accessible, and the kids loved swimming off the dock. The cabin was lovely and had everything we needed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. We look forward to returning sometime!

Nice Week in Blind Bay

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon. It was such a great place to stay. Direct access to the beach just west of the cabin and direct access to hiking trails just easy of the cabin. It is a really nice location and Rich and Cheryl were so friendly. We were so glad we chose this place.

Stunning and Cozy

Really beautiful spot, very accurate to the listing description. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating and spoiled us a with bottle of wine. Highly recommend.

Relaxing Cabin Time

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Cheryl’s cabin! The cabin was tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the proximity to hiking trails up the back lane and late afternoon beverages on the dock! Cheryl and her partner were friendly and helpful from booking through check out. Lovely cabin

We had a great time in this cabin. The property is exactly as advertised. Very clean and cosy. It has everything you need to make a comfortable stay. We will be back to explore in the summer.

Too short but sweet

Quiet, clean cabin in the trees, just like we'd hoped for. Beautiful stream nearby and great hike. Also, dont mias private beach dock/area - family loved this. Road in is a bit steep at one part, but doable. Bosts were great and easily reachable. Loved our stay and we'll hopefully be back soon!

This was such a beautiful, cozy cabin, and our Host Cheryl was exceptionally welcoming and helpful! One thing we would recommend, is at least one extra mirror in the bedroom. There were 4 of us sisters all trying to share the one mirror in the bathroom while getting ready to go out for dinner. Another mirror in the bedroom would be great.

Fantastic Cabin and Location

We had an excellent stay this summer. The cabin was perfect for our family of 3, with our 9 year old enjoying everything from the amazing lake access, to the koi pond. Hosts were excellent and made us feel extremely comfortable.The cabin is very modern, very well laid out and extremely comfortable. Located on a larger property, the cabin is set back and therefore very private. Beach is a short walk across the property to a private dock and seating area that provides excellent water access, and amazing sunset views.This is a special find.

Cozy Cabin by the Lake

A very comfortable cabin with great lake access. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Swimming off the dock was really amazing. Beds were great, towels plentiful and it was as clean as you could expect for a cabin in the woods. One thing to note is that accessibility would be challenging for people with mobility issues. There is a short but steep hill up to the cabin and a narrow path down to the lake. Neither were issues for my family, but could be for other potential guests.

It was a pleasure hosting River & her family, they were all so friendly & polite. Would highly recommend as future guests. I agree, the road to cabin is a short but steep walk. An AWD is necessary to drive to the cabin.

In 2020 we decided to retire and move from Jasper, Alberta to Blind Bay, BC. We found this beautiful semi-lake front property on 2.2 acres in a cedar forest. The previous owners created a little piece of paradise on this land & we fell in love with it. From the 100 foot cedar trees that shade the property, to the rambling creek, the Koi Fish Pond & the Shuswap Lakeshore, this is a peaceful, place in nature that we are that we are looking forward to sharing with our many friends & guests. Come to retreat and relax in either our cozy lake house or our new cabin in the woods.
