We always have the place spotlessly clean for all guests and we work very hard at that but we find in this kind of business, there is always someone u can’t please, no matter what and if u r looking for imperfections u r going to find something to complain about, that’s life and theses kind of people rarely leave the place in very good condition!!!! :(

Sorry to hear that Matthew, you knew we lived upstairs because you asked before you booked!! We gave you your privacy, as we always do for our guests and only communicated when needed! As for the dining room table, there is a table with 4 chairs in the back room, which could have easily been moved into the large living area! With the two eating areas on the covered outside patio, the question of the dining room table inside has never come up before and taking a star off for something we can’t do anything about, is pretty pathetic! I guess In this type of business, what we have learned over time is, we can’t please everyone!!!!

I’m really sorry that you misread how the property is listed on my website! There is only a few options to list the property and my place is clearly stated that it’s a fully contained, private spacious suite /apartment! Showing pics of the whole house doesn’t mean that u are renting the whole house, it’s meant to show the views of this stunning property! You also mentioned that there is no dining room table, had u asked us, we would have told u that we have a folded table if needed and besides that most people usually eat outside where there is various places to eat and enjoy the views! We really don’t feel that taking a star off is warranted because u didn’t read the website properly! Also to rent a whole house such as this, would cost at least double if not more for the accommodations! Thank you!!

We apologized to them, for the inconvenience of the air conditioning breaking down, this problem was beyond our control and we got it fixed asap! We were out of town for our daughter’s wedding when it happened! As for the kitchen, it is fully applianced and out of the 68 different groups we have hosted, nobody complained about the size of the kitchen, everything you need is there! Besides most people spend most of the time on the large deck, overlooking the gorgeous Shuswap lake! As for the extra charge a night, for the 4 extra people she brought, it is in plain sight on the website, we suggest she read the policies before booking! Also at the time of booking she should have been up front with the correct amount of people she was bringing, instead of withholding that important information at the time of booking! We also don’t consider 18 years olds small children and if they were small children, there would have been no charge for them! It’s too bad that we have to meet people in this business who blame the hosts for their own shortfalls and then they reach for things to complain about:(
