Close to everything

We had a great time, this property was close to everything you need, Walmart, food, gas stations, only about 30 minutes from the airport and 20 from Universal and Disney. Has a really nice community area as well!

Great Condo

There were 6 of us including 4 adults. Condo was as described. Had plenty of seating in living room and kitchen. Pool was small but clean. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

Home Away From Home

We stayed at the the Townhouse over the Thanksgiving holiday. This was our 2nd stay this year and we will continue to use the same place whenever we are visiting Orlando. The home is clean and spacious and beats any hotel for a family of five . Maria our host was wonderful and always replied roy msgs and quick to address any issue that may come up.

Comfortable spacious place .

This was our fourth visit to Orlando and we always stayed at a resort but this time we decided to try a VRBO property and we are glad we did. The Townhouse was clean and spacious and had everything you need to live for a long vacation. Specially with kids. The private pool was an extra bonus and Maria our property manager was wonderful and responded to our questions promptly. We will definitely use again.

The house was dusty, floors weren’t cleaned.., both toilets kept getting clogged, Plus we had to take our own sheets off bed never ever stayed in a place where we had to do that and to wash the towels before we leave seems a little crazy…

The house was cleaned the morning of the day you arrived. I doubt it was dusty, If toilets become clogged all you have to do is call my Property Management. They will respond to any concerns. Also, you are not required to remove sheets or wash towels. I feel your review is not justified. Maria

Decent Place, but....

it's a lot of extra work if you want to do anything besides sleep and shower here. Pro's of this place: big enough for a family of 6 people (i wouldn't do more unless it was small kids) house didn't have any bugs. the floorplan of this place is great. there is a walmart & aldi grocery store within 2 mins of the house. Cons: Florida water smells like sulfuric acid. buy bottled water. There were 6 washcloths and 5 hand towels provided for 5 guests, so we were constantly washing towels. The pool was not very clean when we arrived, but the pool company came mid-week and it was fine after that. The grill was absolutely disgusting, and a grease fire hazard. There was hair in each sink and tub drain (they had those "mushroom" plastic catchers). There are three parties responsible for supporting this rental. The Host (Property Owner), The Property Management Company (resp. for cleaning), and then The Resort (Bella Vida). We had a VERY messy trash problem- due to The Resort not picking up trash when they were supposed to. The Host's response was "guess you have to clean it up" which was quite off-putting. No offer to notify the Resort about the trash problem, no offer to call Property Management with a request for extra trash bags or a even a small clean-up fee. Nope, just "handle it yourself - I'm sure you can find the dumpster". TL,DR: don't bother doing anything here except sleep/shower. 20 mins to Disney, 35 mins to universal.

I apologize for any inconvenience or misunderstanding you may have had. The following is the towel count from the Property Management Inspection Report on the day before your arrival: Towel count: Pool towels 7 Bath towels 14 Hand towels 9 Face cloths 11 Bathmats 3 Kitchen towels 5 Dish cloths 5 Crib sheets 0 There were 5 guests (4 adults, 1 child) . When you rent a house most normally expect you may need to wash a load of towels. It's like being 'at home' there are always a few chores to be done. The resort provides a courtesy Decorative Bench near your door. They do NOT pick up every day. You must read the provided schedule. It also states to deposit your garbage each morning prior to 10am pickup time - DO NOT LEAVE GARBAGE IN THE BENCH OVERNIGHT as the raccoons may get at it. You must take your garbage to the nearby 'Dumpster' on non-pickup days or when you have extra garbage that will not fit in the bench. There is a booklet provided on the coffee table with Property Management names to call for service. No one called. We back onto the forest area. During rain or wind the trees sometimes leave a deposit on the lanai which filters through and may leave a film on the pool surface. There is a Skimmer provided to remove any film or dust. The pool is serviced weekly. You can call for extra service if needed. There is a beautiful clubhouse, less than a 5 minute walk, providing extra activities, walk-in pool, hot tubs, indoor and outdoor games etc. Regards, Maria Giardetti

Great location, comfortable, convenient, with additional maintenance this could be a 5 star rental.

Lets start with the issues we had as I do not want readers to stay with the negative at the end of the review. We have stayed on various properties within Bellavida in the past, and in every property we have found the occasional roach, this time around we found 3. The pool area seemed uncared for with weeds growing in between the pavers. The third day of our stay, a component of the pool was leaking water, property management used duct tape and turned off the pool pump; the pump was not turned back on for the remainder of our six day stay, by the last night we would not use the pool as the water had turned murky. Cleaning crew requires attention, we moved a lamp and the phone on the master bedroom to accommodate personal items, and there was a considerable amount of dust underneath. Welcome letter states garbage is picked up from a bench outside of the unit which has compartment to hold a bag or two; it was full upon our arrival; we took our garbage to the compactor daily. Informed management, but the day of our departure the garbage still remained. Most of these items reflect poorly on property management as opposed to the property owner. The positives - Communication with Maria, from booking and through our stay, was amazing, her responses were prompt, the information and support provided was outstanding. Property is located in an area accessible to supermarket, gas stations, restaurants, and 20 to 30 minute drive in rush hour to any of the parks that Orlando. The home has a comfortable layout with space for a large family. Beds were comfortable, and even though 2 of the rooms contained 2 twin beds, there was plenty of space to make for a comfortable environment for those sharing the room. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, glassware, dinnerware and all necessary appliances to make meals. Living room area has comfortable couches with enough space for the family. At the time of our stay, the coffee table extended to uncover a chess and backgammon boards, this was a pleasant addition for the chess lovers in our party. At the moment of our stay, the unit contained a PS1 and an Xbox with plenty of games, which the young ones in the family enjoyed as they were “retro consoles” Washer and dryer were in extremely well condition and were a plus during our stay. Full size pool steps away from the living area is a plus as it eliminates the travel over to the resort’s club house.

Nice place

This was a great place to stay and had all of the items we needed to get us started for the week. The house is near a fire department or emergency place (I think) as we heard the sirens once or twice a day. That didn't bother us because we are used to it but others may not be. We enjoyed the pool and there was enough space for everyone. The closets offered extra items that families may need (i.e. stroller) which would be helpful for families with small children. The security people were friendly and helpful upon arrival so we were set for the week. It was a great experience overall and we would definitely stay here again.

Excellent stay

From day one, our family vacation stay was great! Everything was as pictured and described. We all enjoyed. Maria, the host, answered every message promptly and clearly. Any small issue was addressed and fixed, nothing disrupted our stay. Highly recommend. (I only wish we had more of the basic supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning sprays, etc. but Walmart is literally right there and dollar tree was close by so it was no big deal.)

Nice stay with a negative surprise.

It was a great place and location. Home was everything promised until day of checkout when I went to pull the sheets and check the room and discovered a sock that was not my brothers in the bed that he slept alone in. I feel that the bedding was not changed from the previous stay. In lieu of the pandemic and health and safety it made the stay end on a bad note. I made skeptical on other sanitation that may have been short cut. It was a good stay until the negative surprise.

Enjoyed our stay

Enjoyed our stay. The villa is a little outdated but we were comfortable. I enjoyed having our own private pool. That was a plus. The parking and working WiFi was awesome. Those were important to me. We would come back.

Very Nice

Very nice Villa! It was a little dated but VERY well maintained! Villas were perfectly equipped. Furniture was very comfortable. Beds were very comfortable. Literally all the comforts of home. Beautiful pool outside villa. Had to call management at one point because pool was losing water and they were very receptive. Overall a wonderful experience and I would definitely consider staying again!

Roomy and great location

We stayed for two weeks. The house is very comfortable with everything you need. The location is great, close to shopping and parks. A Chik-fil-A just down the street. There are nice amenities on property too. Perfect stay.

Perfect! Home away from home!

This was the perfect house for our family of 5 with more room to spare! This is a clean spacious villa with a backyard pool in a quiet resort neighborhood. The owner is very sweet and responsive. We had zero issues with our stay. Thank you Maria and Vrbo for a seamless reservation and stay while we were in Florida! We will return to this villa next trip if it’s available. Definite 5 stars!

1st stay at a home away from home

1st inprestion was good, but then small things keep coming up. 1st had a very hard time finding the property address, no light left on so that we would be able to see the house address, we arrived at night. This being our 1st time at a property we did not know nor was it listed that we would need to provide basic house supplies, such as tolet paper, paper towels, dish washer tablets, garbage bags. there was only one roll of PT, one in each bathroom for 8 people and a 7 day stay. Another thing, the light in outdoor pool area was burned out, and no replacement. We several cockroachs in the master bath room. Another issue in the master bathroom the shower sprayed everywhere but out of the head. The wall were the kitchen garbage had been located was not cleaned when they relocated the trash bin. The carpet going up the stairs was very soilded, and in the master bedroom it was bunched up in areas.

Hi Maryjane: Thank you for your comments which I am happy to address. The Arrival Information provided stated the home was 2nd street on your left. It is a circle so it is difficult to get lost and the Resort is well lit. A 'Welcome Bag' is provided so you have supplies for the first day of your arrival. (None of the Vacation Homes provide these supplies for the duration of your stay). I am sorry the Lanai light burned out. Unfortunately this can happen. There are usually extra bulbs on the laundry shelf. The bulb has since been replaced. We apologize for the problem with the showerhead. The head was a bit loose and has since been repaired. Things do break and Property Management is on site. Their contact info is provided to you and you can contact them for any needed repairs or issues. Unlike Wyoming and many Northern States, Florida is a tropical State and there are bugs. These are controlled by the Resort and Property Management and we seldom have a problem. However, occasionally they do get in. We do spray on a regular basis. We have since arranged cleaning of the carpet stairs and bedrooms. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Maria Giardetti

Great time, great memories!

The host, Maria was very helpful and she was very responsive to questions before our trip dates. Check-in / out were quick and painless processes. Overall, it was a great trip!

Overall satisfied

Property could be better maintained /TLC , there is a bit of a mold smell or odd smell eventually we got used to it but we enjoyed our stay and overall would rate it 7 out of 10.
