What a disappointing review Brittany. A few things to address here. Firstly, we responded to every email you sent, VRBO can vouch for that. Look at your dashboard which is where all the messages, both to and from you, can clearly be seen. Every one responded to. We gave you a late check out free of charge. You seemed happy when we told you that. Who knew how you really felt inside? Housekeeping did make an error there, but it is really petty to make such a big deal out of it in a review, especially as there was no charge at all to you for the courtesy. So disappointing. You stayed in the home until well after 12 anyway, and did not communicate to us that you would be doing that. Go figure. Regarding the starter pack, the home is self catering Brittany. You read the paperwork, at least I think you did, both my confirmation of booking, and the arrival pack, and it is clearly stated that like thousands upon thousands of vacation homes here, the home is self catering. You are the only person to not understand that, out of over 6000 guests this year alone. My fault? Or your ignorance? You decide. The gate code was on the HOA. They change it once a year, and did so just a day prior to your arrival without telling us. That said, I am mystified as to why you had to google our number as it was clearly shown on your arrival pack, on the very same page as the gate code is shown, and the number works perfectly for everyone else. Quite where you were looking beats me. It is always a shame to get a negative review, but this feels as though it was decided long before you actually wrote it. While you were here you did not call once, and only wrote asking for things that benefited you, and you seemed so appreciative of our kindness. I have been around long enough to know that nothing is ever as it seems, but I wasn't expecting a review as dishonest as yours, and it simply isn't warranted. I hope you feel better now.
