Lovedale is a relaxed neighbourhood east of Pokolbin, and the perfect spot to get that Insta shot of Skippy among the vines as the rambling vineyards and pastures are full of mobs of kangaroos and wallabies.
The winding country roads are lined with tasty eateries and small, boutique cellar doors, so you can meet the owners and enjoy a more personal experience, while tasting local wines and gourmet snacks.
Lovedale is also home to many artists so no surprise there are galleries to explore, plus you can go horseriding, hot-air ballooning or take a cooking class with a local chef.
It’s no wonder it’s a favourite wedding destination, with couples getting hitched in cute chapels or outdoors among the vines.
Both of our next door neighbours are wineries - so leave the car and go for tastings! 5-7 minute drive to the best restaurants in the area, and many of the other Hunter Valley attractions.
Our house is perfect for family and friends get togethers of all sorts!
COVID-FRIENDLY CANCELLATION POLICY:
We understand the uncertainty of the current times and the unpredictable nature of travel restrictions at the moment. Our COVID cancellation policy is based around changes made by the NSW Government. For bookings made as of 22 Dec 21:
If regional travel within NSW is banned, i.e. travel to the Hunter Valley from within NSW is banned, then we will reschedule your stay to an equivalent set of dates, or provide a full refund. We cannot account for restrictions placed by other state governments, or the individual circumstances of each guest (i.e. if they are located in what becomes a hot-spot, or are required to isolate) please take this into account prior to booking.
SECURITY:
We have security cameras monitoring the external areas of the property for security purposes.
NOISE: This is a strict no party house. While we are a rural and private location, please respect our neighbours by keeping noise to reasonable levels.
Please keep in mind there is no amplified music allowed outdoors at any time.
Unauthorised guests above the amount that has been booked for will be charged at $100 per person per night.
Unauthorised late check-out past the check-out time will be charged at $200 per hour.
Unauthorised early check-in before the check-in time will be charged at $200 per hour.
Smoking inside the any of the buildings on the property will garner a fee of $500.
NOISE:
This is a no party house. We understand that every group is different, but we do not make exceptions.
The property is in a Environmental Conservation Zone area and council regulates outside noise, to ensure the valley stays quiet and neighbors aren’t disturbed. Although this is a large property, sound travels and is amplified in the valley.
Please keep in mind:
- There is no amplified music allowed outdoors at any time.
- There is no noise allowed outdoors after 10pm, its best to move the socialising indoors after that.
If this might interfere with your weekend away plans then please reach out to discuss.
We use NoiseAware technology to monitor the decibel levels outside the house.
In cases of noise complaints that are not addressed on request, we reserve the right to use contracted security patrol cars to remove all guests from the premise mid-stay with no refund.
By booking, you are agreeing to the 10pm noise curfew outside.
