Thank you so much for sharing this thoughtful feedback. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the great view and got to experience some true Northern Michigan moments—watching a snow squall move across the lake and seeing eagles in the morning is pretty special. It’s also wonderful to know the room felt sanitary and that our front desk staff were welcoming during your stay. At the same time, I’m sorry you were disappointed when comparing your unit to your family’s. You’re absolutely right to expect a similar level of finish and comfort, and it’s helpful to know that things like the lack of an oven, older flooring, and stained carpet stood out, especially when other units in the building felt more updated. That’s not the experience we want you to have. We’ve noted your comments and will be reviewing this condo for needed improvements, including flooring and carpet condition, and evaluating where we can bring it more in line with the standard of the other units. Feedback like yours directly guides those upgrades and helps us prioritize where to focus next. Thank you again for your honest review and for recognizing both the positives and where we can do better. We hope we’ll have the opportunity to welcome you back to a unit that better matches what you saw in your family’s rooms, while still providing those same beautiful lake views and friendly service at the front desk.
