Entirely remodeled, tastefully decorated, and some of the best beach views that you can get at The Spa on Port Royal Sound!
This 2nd floor 1 bedroom/1bath is perfect for 2 people, but it can comfortably sleep a family of 4. Stainless Steel appliances, quartz counter tops, an island, pots & pans, and utensils make this bungalow perfect for a weekend getaway or extended snowbird stay!

This renovated 1BR, 1 bath villa is ready for your romantic getaway or island escape! Beachside, this villa offers sunrise views of Port Royal Sound & the Atlantic Ocean from your private balcony. Fully renovated, the second-floor villa has a full kitchen with quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and a dining bar that seats 4. This beauty has 1 bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a full bathroom, a hallway twin, and a comfy sofa in the living room. Televisions are available in the living room and bedroom. You are only steps to 1 of the 3 pools on the property. This unit is complete with an in-unit washer and dryer. A perfect escape in a natural setting away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy places on the island, yet only minutes from shopping, dining, and activities.

***We are located on the second-floor requiring traversing two flights of stairs... which are a breeze... but wanted to make sure any wheelchair or elderly concerns are noted. There are no elevators at The Spa.***

**The outdoor pools are open April 1- October 31. The indoor pool is open year round.**

The Spa at Port Royal Sound is located as the Atlantic Ocean turns up into the Port Royal Sound on the beautiful beaches of Hilton Head Island. Relax as the ocean waters roll onto the sands surrounding the villa or spend the day beachcombing for seashells and other treasures. If you prefer larger waves and umbrella lined beaches, there are public beach access points just minutes from the Spa. This gated community includes 2 outdoor pools, an indoor pool and hot tub, fitness center, tennis courts, picnic/BBQ area, basketball court, and beach with a pier. Please note: outdoor pools close for the season on Oct 30. Sundeck of mid pool will remain open, weather permitting!  Facilities are subject to close without notice based on COVID restrictions or maintenance issues.

Our villa is best suited for business travelers, romantic getaways or a couple with small children.

The Spa On Port Royal Sound is a hidden treasure! Located in a secluded area of Hilton Head Island, SC. The Spa is nestled between two historic parks - Fish Haul Park and Mitchellville Park. The beach is in a nature preserve and bird sanctuary, offering a wide variety of wildlife to watch and enjoy. The beautifully landscaped gardens and lagoons create the feel of a tropical paradise right outside your villa. The Spa connects directly to Hilton Head’s bike trails. The miles of paths cover virtually the entire Island. Within a short distance from The Spa, there are several Atlantic beachfront public parks with showers, restrooms, and picnic areas. The Island boasts over 20 public golf courses, too many great restaurants to count, movie theaters, and other exciting vacation activities. In addition, there is always an amazing Outlet shopping experience awaiting you, as well as quite a few boutiques, thrift, and local shops closeby to find your HHI treasures before you head back home!

You can dig for clams on our beaches from October through May, but, you will need a fishing license!! You can purchase the license online or at locations on the island! SC DNR license purchase - check them out online!

A parking pass will be available at the security gate for pick-up. Please be prepared with $20 cash for the first pass. If you require a second pass (the maximum allowed), it is an additional $5 at the security gate.


Please Note: We provide starter amenities upon check-in. This includes one set of bath towels for each guest, travel-size bathroom toiletries & two(2) toilet paper rolls for the bathroom. Beds will be made for you with one(1) set of clean bed linens for each bed. In the kitchen, you will find starter packs of laundry & dish detergent, dish soap, one(1) paper towel roll, coffee filters and trash bags, and a dishtowel. We do not restock these items during your stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with cutlery, cooking utensils, appliances, and dinnerware.


Please note, all cancellations are subject to a non-refundable processing fee.

No Smoking. No Pets. Please enjoy yourself and treat our home like you would treat your own. Do not take furniture out of the villa or move it from one room or floor to another. No trailers, kayaks, or canoes are allowed on the property. Bikes must be secured in the bike racks provided.

Guest Access:
Enjoy the entire villa! A smart lock code will be provided a few days prior to check-in for easy access to the property. The community is gated and your parking pass will be provided at the front security gate upon arrival with ID and $20 cash. If you require a second pass (the maximum allowed), it is an additional $5 at the security gate.

Getting Around:
Close to the Hilton Head Airport and easy drivability to all the island has to offer. Miles of bike trails can be found across the island from The Spa!

Other Things to Note:
Bugs
We get asked about Palmetto Bugs all the time. Yes, these are roaches and are found pretty much everywhere outside in South Carolina but we like to call them Palmetto Bugs as it makes them sound nicer! They can be pretty big, can fly and will scurry around the floor but they are largely harmless. They do occasionally come inside, especially at night and during or after any storms. Rest assured all of our homes are professionally treated monthly for pests. Any bugs that manage to get inside will die quickly.

According to Eric Benson, Ph.D. professor and extension entomologist at Clemson University “It has nothing to do with cleanliness or the economic conditions of the area,” said Benson. “They could be around the nicest home or the nicest hotel or resort.”

If you leave the doors or windows open, especially at night, you will likely see a few. This is perfectly normal. If you see 20 or 30 all in one place then please let us know. This might mean we have a nest somewhere in the home and we'll need to get pest control out to take care of it. This is extremely rare!

Please don't worry about bugs, enjoy your vacation. You'll likely not see any while you are here, we just include this note so you understand it's not unusual to see some and it doesn't mean the home isn't well looked after!

Great stay. Note the front screen door needs repair and the master bedroom bed/mattress does not meet the expectations established by the rest of the unit. Please consider an upgrade.

Extremely LOUD! Avoid at all cost!
I'll start with the positive: The view is really nice, as pictured. The place was also clean. Now for the bad: it is tiny, packed full of chairs that makes it feel even smaller, all the outlets on the wall for the bed don't work so you won't be able to charge your phone on the nightstands, there was no creamer, sugar, or sweetener for the coffee. Most importantly, you will hear every footstep and other movement upstairs. If you get lucky and there's nobody up there, or they rarely move, no big deal. If however, they are present, move when you are trying to sleep, and most especially, have a child, this condo will turn into your own private torture chamber. It was so maddeningly loud that we left a full day early and notified the host as such. They could care less other than to say it's too bad we didn't contact them sooner about the noise. There's absolutely nothing they could do about it because it was just a family moving around. It is a defect of the place. The least they could have done is reimburse us for the last day. Stay away from this place unless you like gambling with your sanity

Upon arrival to the building and the door to our condo, there was an overwhelming odor of must and mildew. It was around the window and door area. The overall cleanliness of the unit was great and there were no issues. It was well stocked and the perfect size foe the two of us. The balcony furniture was not comfy to me so i did not stay out there often. The view was great and the ease of access to the amenities on the property and to the beach are was amazing. Bird watching was great along the span of the beach. The tides ebb and flow each day created great opportunities to explore a variety of sea life. The property is located next door to Fish Haul Park and we heard hoot owls. I found a few small shark teeth our last day there. In addition to the bad mildew smell the building itself needs to be renovated. The floors leading to the unit are in desrepair and outdated. The property has many amenitiies to keep your family happy and busy.
