My husband, daughter and I went to Chicago for a weekend getaway and this place was clean, cute and so close to transit. Great place for a small family to stay.

Great Spot to Stay

This was a great little space to stay at in the Chicago area. The pictures look just like the place, super clean and ready to go. Big enough to spread out and relax if we had another couple or kids. Check in/check out was very easy. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Great spot with easy access to downtown

We loved Dwayne’s place. Great neighborhood. Easy access to transportation and easy street parking. Well-equipped and cozy apartment. We’d definitely stay here again when visiting.

The apartment was great! Large area, two bedrooms on opposite sides of apartment (so some privacy if you were two couples). Kitchen is reasonably well stocked and hosts communicated everything clearly.

Great Stay in a beautiful Chicago Neighborhood

Dwayne communication to us was excellent. We also arrived early he let me in. The house is very beautiful, we feel so at home. I hope I was able to take pictures of the house but we got so busy studying. All the condiments for cooking is there you don’t have to worry about it. The house is really clean and smells good. He has real plants and that was so cute and really homey for us. The downside is the stairs, just narrow it might be hard to some people who has disabilities but it has a handrail to hold on to. I know it’s part of the house but I think it could be change. Thank you so much Dwayne and keeping us comfortable in your house, definitely gonna be back to stay there again.

Good centralized place to stay during National Sports Card Show.

Nice property. Good central location to downtown Chicago and to the Rosemont center Where the sports card show was. Slept and provided space for the three of us very comfortably. We would stay here again.

2nd Floor Find

This second floor apartment is well appointed with relaxing, comfortable living spaces. Located within a very short walk to the CTA. The property manager is very responsive to any questions or concerns. The one concern would be the narrow stairway, which would be difficult to maneuver with full size luggage or if you had any physical limitations. We would definitely stay here again.

Under-rated listing - DO IT!

For our group, we LOVED this property. We were here for a sports events, as a team of 4. The space is certainly excellent for short to medium term stays. Bedrooms and living space are bigger than they appear. We had 2 in one room, 1 in another, and 1 on heavy sleeper on the couch. All were happy. Excellent table for the board games we brought - warning, we were butts and didn't realize at first how much sound could travel to downstairs on a weeknight (telestrations at 1030pm can get loud apparently!) . Once we realized, we re-adjusted and all was fine and easy. Super embarrassed and happy to accommodate. Plenty of room in kitchen if needed. Shower pressure was great.. I didn't try but roomies were confused on coffee machine. Wifi was great. Code locks were easy. Only other comment is that if you're driving in, it's not clear in the listing that you need to be off the street 8-10 on weekdays (only reason online listing is a 4/5), no matter what. That worked OK for us, given our sports and brunch schedule, but may not work for others. Great value for the place. Would recommend to anyone.

Convenient location, great price point, quiet neighborhood

Visited Chicago for my son’s college graduation the same weekend as the Beyoncé concert so finding a place was a challenge. I lucked in to this sweet little second floor apartment. The stairs were a little tricky but lots of railings made it doable even with big luggage. Super clean and well furnished. Would recommend.

Perfect location!!

Cute, easy access and very thorough directions. The property was very easy to find! Neighbors were also very friendly and knew the owner! We actually Ubered to Wrigley Field. Just there one night.. the beds were AMAZING!!! Would definitely stay there again.

Awesome experience

We were impressed by the overall ambiance of the property. It was tastefully decorated and very clean. I brought in my own beddings and towels since I got the place to host visiting family for Thanksgiving. It was actually unnecessary. The kitchen was immaculate and seemingly unused.

My stay was amazing, the place fit the description and was very clean and felt like a home away from home. The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. I had an amazing time, we weren’t too far from downtown which was great, and everything in the home was neat and clean.

Lovely Stay at the Humphrey

We were very comfortable at the Humphrey. The decor is nice and cozy and it has pretty much everything we needed. There are some spiral stairs to access the property which would make it difficult on those who struggle with stairs or un sure footing. Our host was very responsive and kind. We would definitely stay here again, check in and check out were easy and parking as well.

Professional Learning in the City

We stayed at this property for one night while we participated in some professional learning in the city. We rode the blue line into town and the metro home. This property is very clean and a perfect location to be able to park and not worry about downtown parking fees. We were able to communicate with the property manager regarding parking prior to us checking in. Everything here was delightful.

Beautiful Older Oak Park Apartment

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment. The apartment was nicely decorate, the couch was super comfortable and the bathroom was clean (the whole apartment was). It was just street parking which was fine. And it was in a great location as it was near the expressway. The only thing that makes this a 4 and not a 5 is the stairs to the apartment. They are extremely shallow and narrow. If you have any sort of mobility issues, I don't think I would recommend this listing. If that isn't a problem for you, then this is an excellent choice. Thank you!
