The host had great communication, the house were as beautiful as the pics.. very accommodating with places to go near the house. My family and i enjoyed our stay for my birthday nice quite area. Very homily atmosphere i would definitely book again and recommend!

This house was STUNNING! I loved every moment i shared in this home. loved it like my own, the rules were simple. Host communicated easily. Heat works WONDERS! The pictures doesn’t give the house enough love it was amazing! They had dishes which was GREAT! For the pans i recommend getting something to keep your food from sticking. No complications or complaints with the home or host! I definitely will be booking again!

This space was perfect for our short stay in the city; plenty of parking space for our vehicles in a nice neighborhood, a quaint living room for socializing before and after our event and comfortable beds overnight. Although we didn’t take advantage, the downstairs bar would have been a cool space for a night cap. The host was very amenable, responsive and supportive.

Looking for a safe well lit area to stay in during your stay in the city???? THIS IS THE PLACE! The hosts were so kind and inviting. Ready to help when we had a little glitch. The home is BEAUTIFUL and wonderfully decorated. The beds are so comfortable and THAT TUB! The location was perfectly located between the airport and the location of our regional. If we are ever in the area for a weekend or longer this will be our first go to. Thank you again for your hospitality and again your home is BEAUTIFUL. The only complaint i can come up with is .... the heat works too well.

Nice house, spacious! Only cons are there aren’t convenient outlets in the rooms to charge your phone while laying down, the front door lock is annoying to lock each time you leave the house, and the lint trap for the dryer tears your clothes. I’d stay again though! P.S. it’s just a little far from downtown (30 minutes) if you’re mostly going out in that area the Ubers/lyfts are costly if you don’t have a rental!

The cabinets are absolutely bare. The only thing it had was salt and pepper. The utensils were something you would find at the dollar tree. The pans no longer had the black non stick coating on them. The had scratches and unusable to cook in. They only had 5 spatulas to cook with no other cooking utensils. I had to by cooking spray, cooking utensils, I even had to buy a pot and a pan to cook in. They had no serving bowls or mixing bowls, I had to go buy those too. They did not have any cooking sheets to bake on, I had to buy that too. No complimentary anything! Downstairs sink had no running water. Washer was full of visible mold. Dryer had a broken vent, it put holes in the clothes we dried. They only had 2 glasses to drink from. The home had a strange odor to it. The completed basement flooded our second night there and by the looks of the empty room with the exception of a flood fan, mop and bucket it seems this is a very frequent situation. It was definitely needed a good cleaning. The pictures are deceiving because you definitely don’t get what you see in the least bit. The only positive was the owner was very quick to respond, especially since his father is the maintenance man who stays in the garage or somewhere on the property that was not disclosed. A truck was broke in the driveway because it wouldn’t start. Turns out it’s been sitting there for a long time now. Flat tire, expired tags. I have more pics than allowed to provide that documents all of my complaints.

great place, loved the comfort of living room and two bathrooms. Main bedroom tv was great to have but very difficult to operate. Had to get remote loaded to my phone, very difficult, time consuming and cost 6.00 per week for remote that you then have to remember to cancel. I stay in vrbo for kitchen use to save on food cost. Sink was dislodged from counter top. No strainer to let dishes dry when hand washed. There were 7 spatulas but lacked many necessities for cooking. No large pot for boiling pasta, no colander, pans in poor condition, no can opener, no vegetable peeler. Fridge , stove were great.

Absolutely the worst Vrbo experience I’ve ever had. I booked this home for my daughter’s 16th birthday — a once-in-a-lifetime moment. The hosts were watching me on camera, and the second I brought in a few bags, they immediately canceled my reservation stating no events are allowed. No events were being held it was myself daughter and 2 of her friends were going to stay the night. No rules were broken, no noise, nothing. Just pure judgment and bad vibes. It was embarrassing, stressful, and completely ruined our plans. If you’re looking for respectful, understanding hosts — this ain’t it.

First off before you came to this location we asked you to read the rules of the house. We don’t throw parties at this location for no one especially a 16yr old. You needed to rent a hall not our home. We monitor the outside of our property because of guest like you that live in Chicago and want to use our property instead of hosting this house parties at your own location. You didn’t bring in a few bags you had several pans of food a banner cake and three car loads of people and another car with pans of food when the reservation only had two listed. If you would like I can post the videos of your guests still coming after you left. Don’t get on here trying to stop my business when we gave you a full refund we just don’t want your business or our neighbors complaining about kids getting dropped off in Ubers and loud noise throughout the night no more. Get you a house and let them have all the parties and kick backs you like. Respectfully

I always want to see a black owned business thrive first off. The host needs a little guidance with customer service. We got there the snow was not shoveled or even prepped for the storm no salt down or anything. Check in was 4pm which I didn’t arrive until almost 6pm. There was more than enough time for that to be done, but it wasn’t. I had to message her and ask were they going to shovel. She sent a maintenance guy over, at the door he voiced that he needed to get in the basement to get the shovel, during this time she called me I told her I did not feel comfortable with letting a man in the home. We looked all over the basement did not see a shovel. Minutes later we hear him outside shoveling the snow. She questioned me on why I didn’t feel comfortable several times on our phone conversation. Which made us feel more uncomfortable. Then proceeded to say “well since your not going to let the maintenance man in make sure there are no extra guest on the property” like ma’am this is your second time telling me this I’m not a child. Jet tub didn’t work, the basement floor was flooding, the ice on the refrigerator did not work, sheets had stains, good thing we were prepared and had our own blankets and pillows. Do better Shanika ☺️
