Wir haben zwei übergroße Apartments im zweiten Stock direkt an einem privaten Sandstrand. Beide Wohnungen wurden im Dezember 2017 komplett renoviert und mit neuen Küchen, neuen Badezimmern, Fußböden usw. ausgestattet. Jede Einheit bietet Platz für maximal 4 Personen. Mieten Sie mit der Mietnummer 9131033 (separate Reservierung und Gebühren) für bis zu 8 Personen. Gehen Sie von Ihrer Haustür auf eine große Sandbank im Atlantik. Beobachten Sie den Sonnenaufgang und Sonnenuntergang von diesem einzigartig gelegenen privaten Triplex aus. Binden Sie Ihr Boot direkt hinter dem Grundstück an der Sandbank oder an der Anlegestelle an und starten Sie das Boot auf der anderen Straßenseite an der Bucht. Erstaunliches Meeresleben direkt am Strand, Stachelrochen, Kugelfischkrabben, Haie. Fischen Sie direkt vom Ufer aus. Bei Ebbe können Sie auf der Sandbank mehrere hundert Meter in den Ozean laufen. Wir haben auch zwei Kajaks für Sie

Wir befinden uns in einem einzigartigen natürlichen Lebensraum. Es gibt Zeiten, in denen, abhängig von den Gezeiten, dicke Algen, Steine und andere Gegenstände an unserer Küste angespült werden. Wir empfehlen, immer Wasserschuhe zu tragen.

Belated Anniversary Trip

Our second trip to Marathon. We stayed on the other side of the same property this trip. Beautiful place, very clean. Sunrises are a must see. Absolutely breathtaking and the view at this property couldn’t be better. Had a wonderful, peaceful trip. Can’t wait to go back and can’t imagine staying anywhere else.

Anniversary Trip

We loved our location as we were trying to find a place central to things we wanted to do. We went to Key West a couple of days. We also spent a day in Islamorada at Theater of the Seas. Andrew was easy to contact and very responsive to our questions. We stayed 7 nights and only saw our neighbors one night. It felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. We only were given 2 rolls of toilet paper for the week so it was close to running out but we made do. There could have been some soap for the bathroom to wash hands but we made do by just buying a bottle at the dollar store. We looked everywhere but didn't see a pizza cutter....other than that we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this place and we are already thinking about coming back someday! Amazing Central Location in the Keys

We had a wonderful time at this property. The home was clean and well cared for. The furniture was comfortable and in good shape. Everything you needed for preparing meals, including some spices. (No storage containers for leftovers, so buy ziplocs if you're like us and always have leftovers.) The view was gorgeous. We saw so many birds at low tide picking through the sea grass for their meals. The kayaks were a definite bonus. The water was clear and shallow. Definitely bring some good water shoes if you're not a fan of walking through the sea grass to get out onto the water. The bed and the pillows were comfortable. Linens and towels were provided, along with access to a washer and dryer. The only "challenge" we had was extra noise - the air conditioners were noisy, and the road noise was there, but expected with where the house is. The neighboring house is very close. It is also a short term rental with lots of yard games and a couple of units. (Cornhole would be an awesome addition to this property) They were inside and quiet by 11, so it wasn't too bad. We used the fire pit one night and enjoyed it. The location was fantastic. Right in the middle of the keys, so a good spot to head out and explore from. Marathon is close and has everything you might need while in the keys. I would stay again!

Amazing!!!!!!!!!

We just got home last night and we are already talking about when we can book this place again! Very spacious for my family of 4. You have an amazing private beach with kayaks!!! The view every morning for sunrise is stunning! Highly recommend a trip to keys fisheries. We purchased grouper, brought it back and grilled it. The fire pit on the beach is awesome! It had everything we needed and was very clean. The caretaker is awesome and super friendly, she has a ton of information on where to eat and things to do. The Iguanas kept my son busy, he loved watching them. Andrew was great with emails, he responded quickly. I 100% recommend this place and we will be booking again!

Shallow Trashy Beach

I was not going to write a review on this, but I must. The apartment is nice, and clean and the lady that takes care of the place is nice. Here is the problem. A) the water is shallow and muddy for a long ways out. When the grass blows in, the smell is horrible. B) The neighbor is rude and has trash all over the beach. We picked plastic bottle up on the beach for 2 days. We decided to leave early and stay somewhere else.

The owner is not responsive to the emails

Made a reservation for August 2017, was in contact with the owner, who answered all my questions prior to the booking. Then, I made the payment in full and received a confirmation from the owner: Dear XXXXX, I have confirmed your reservation at property 931033 for Aug 3, 2017 - Aug 6, 2017. Shortly after, I have received two emails canceling the reservation and canceling the payment. I sent an email to the owner right away asking about it and, at this point, it has been two days since then. Very disappointing, especially since I already booked flight tickets based on owner's booking confirmation. I will never use this site again. Svetlana

If you want a place that'll actually stay cool in the keys heat this is the spot!!! We've been too the keys often and stayed at many vacation properties and this one is the best temperature wise! I'd rather be comfortable! The seaweed and sandfleas are not for the weak!!!

This was the perfect vacation spot for my husband and I. Perfect sunrise & Sunsets about 49 minutes from Key West. A 10 minute drive to Sombrera beach. This was perfect to get a at from daily hustle and bustle and relax. Was perfect quiet get away just what we needed .

Great location. Nice upgrades in kitchen and bathroom. Living room ac didn’t work correctly. It was reported but never fixed. The dining room fan and light didn’t work. Kitchen light went out on the 3rd day. The light socket on lamp by from door was falling apart. (Unsafe) The outside beach area was covered with trash. I spent about an hour picking broken glass and trash. It wasn’t the situation but we made the best of it and had and great time. We won’t go back.

Not what I expected

First of all...the very first picture online is not the property. I'm not sure where it is but it is not this property. The property is right on the ocean and is a nice beach but does have lots of grass in the water. The bedroom picture, the picture with pelicans on the dock are also not this property. The owner is not very communicative. There was supposed to be an inspection while we were there and I left him a message about it. No answer from owner, no text or any kind of communication. The stairs and the wooden railing need to be updated. The stairs themselves are warped and the railing is loose so be careful. The AC in the living is not working the way it should but it did keep the room cool enough to be comfortable. Positive things are that the couches, table etc were awesome. The kitchen has everything that you need but it doesn't have a dishwasher. It didn't matter for the two of us but it might for others. It also has an icemaker in the refrigerator but it doesn't work so you have to break out ice cubes from trays and refill. The property was very clean but the outside was more scattered. We did have a good time. The property isn't perfect but it was comfortable and was a nice place to come home to at the end of a busy day of touristing in the Florida Keys!

location is great. close enough to marathon for easy access to activities and restaurants, but far enough away to avoid heavy traffic and crowds. clean property. excellent communication with owner when needed. nice private beach on which to sit and relax or read or just bird watch. have already booked same property for christmas this year.
