Million dollar Ocean Views were amazing! The hosts, Stubbs Realty, were excellent in communication and very accommodating. Brought us extra boogie boards so each guest could have one. Condo was thoughtfully furnished with shampoos lotion detergent and most anything needed. Our party of four GoldenGirls had a wonderful time!

A Little Piece of Heaven

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay in SUR 112 - the unobstructed sunset views from the unit are incredible - one morning we even woke up to a double rainbow over the ocean! The unit itself is quite comfortable and has plenty of room. Stubbs was very responsive in taking care of any issues that arose, for example quickly replacing the WIFI router when it went on the fritz. They also lent us beach chairs as the unit does not provide them. As others have noted, some of the furnishings in the unit are older but everything was in good working order. This is the fourth time we have stayed in a unit in this complex. All our stays have been great but SUR 112 may have been the one we enjoyed most because of the amazing ocean views. Thank you to everyone at Stubbs for making it a great stay!

Great beachfront stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is in a perfect location, the view is incredible, and steps away from the beach access. The pool and hot tub was another nice amenity, and always clean when we used it. The condo itself was a bit out of date, but everything was functional. The addition of some ceiling fans would help keep the place cool on hot days, but the ocean breeze did flow through. The management company was also very responsive- we had an appliance issue and they fixed it within 24 hours, and also provided some beach toys for our kids. Overall an amazing stay and would recommend!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The complex is beautifully landscaped and maintained. Quiet property. This unit had newer appliances (older washer and dryer but work well) The condo was clean but on the more dated side. Pros: View was amazing. Nice breeze from the ocean. Cons: master bed much too soft, twin beds much to firm. No dish towels, no cleaning supplies to wipe down kitchen etc. No blender, No cookie sheet, only 1 garbage bag provided for a week stay. Broken blinds. No beach toys, umbrella or chairs. (available from Stubbs but extra work to check out etc) Old tv with no instructions on how to use. We have rented 9 condos in this complex and this one was the least “appointed” Missing basic necessities. The Stubbs staff is great. The beach is amazing and not too crowded even in July. Lots of stairs. Short walk to CVS, and restaurants.

Great property management company, very responsive. Property and unit both have some deferred maintenance which is overdue - would benefit from a fresh coat of paint etc… That said, great location with convenient access to the beach.

Fantastic beach vacation!

We loved our stay in this Solana Beach condo. It was right on the water with fabulous views and ocean beaches. Restaurants, shops and live music were an easy walk away. The condo was well appointed and had everything we needed for our stay. June was a great time for us to go. The weather is a little gloomy which we didn't mind since we're from Arizona and get plenty of summer sun here, and the positive of that is that it's not quite peak tourist season, so it wasn't crowded on the beach and we had no trouble getting into restaurants. We enjoyed it so much that we've already booked again for next year.

April Vacation

The pictures on VRBO tell the whole story. The property is oceanfront with an unobstructed view of the ocean. My wife and I appreciated the spaciousness of the property. Before we arrived we didn’t care for the idea of picking up the keys from the property manager but this was a godsend. There is a gate for both the building and garage and some direction on how to get around the property was much appreciated. The inside of the property is not fancy but very functional. If we go to Southern California next year we will try to rent this property again.

Location, location, location!

This condo is in an ideal spot in the town of Solana Beach. The views of the Pacific are breathtaking, and the complex is lovely with the pools, tennis and hot tubs. I love the condo itself for size and layout. I will definitely recommend it to friends and family, and hope to stay there again some day. My only minor complaint is that it seemed there was a quick clean before our arrival, and maybe a little more attention to detail (kitchen floor, front steps, bathrooms) would have been nicer. The kitchen has most of the necessities for making simple meals. And Stubbs property management were very helpful with our few questions. Solana is perfectly located to San Diego and all the hiking, shopping, dining and other towns along the coast. It was our first visit in San Diego and having this condo as a home base was perfect! Thank you!!

Focus on the Awesome Views!

Pros: The views, beach access and surrounding shops & restaurants are the best! The unit had plenty of room for our family of 3 adults and 2 kids with 2 cars. We had a very good getaway! Cons: it’s an older condo, a little drafty. The gas fireplace was our main heat source on cold mornings, romantic but not our familiar central heat! Bring slippers & sweaters. The beds were just ok. The kitchen has plenty of dishes and cookware, although it’s all dated and worn. Tips: we had a hard time finding some things like pillowcases, towels, tall trash can; check the dryer and all closets, not just the logical places! 🤣
