Great Family Vacation

When we arrived, we were in awe when we stepped into your property. It was very clean and inviting. The only issue we experienced was the extreme cold upstairs. However, the host was very responsive and made us feel comfortable. We look forward to staying at this location when we return again.

I took a group of 7 Girl Scouts and 6 adults to this property. The girls had been saving up their cookie money for this trip for 5 years. We had a great time and memories were made. It was clouded heavily by the last day (see the end).The house was great to accommodate the size of our party. However there were several things that made this a place we will not stay again. The property managers were great and check in process was easy. The gate codes never worked on our phones despite the brightness being up. We just pushed the button and the gate opened or we went through the exit that was open. Not sure why it is a gated community. I paid for the pool heater. The pool felt great but it was warmer than the hot tub. I was looking forward to the hot tub. I was disappointed but the girls loved the pool so the heater was well worth it.The couch upstairs was broken. At least 2 of the beds were broken. The stove kept tripping a fuse and one of the front burners did not work. I let the manager know and they did have someone look at it. The “game room” was a foozball table in a bedroom. There was an air hockey table upstairs. We were looking forward to a game night, but we played phone games instead. The day we left we found bedbugs in 2 rooms, one on a girl. We had to heat treat or freeze all 7 families things on return. One had to purchase a deep freeze. They were mature bedbugs. Management is still reviewing our case 2 weeks later and hoping they make it right.

Overall nice house and good stay

Overall the pictures are a good representation of what you get. Although the upstairs couch needs to be replaced. We had a few questions upon arrival but management was responsive and everything was resolved by the next day.

Absolutely LOVED it and will book again!

Our company rented a vacation home as a "home base" for a nearby conference, and the house was perfectly outfitted for our group--plenty of beds, bathrooms (some shared, some private), a HUGE welcoming kitchen living and dining area, backyard seating, pool/hot tub, and easy access to nearby stores. It was clean, inviting and just as pictured. We will definitely be booking again next year, as we attend a local conference about 3 miles up the road annually.

The house was beautiful very clean and accurate to the the photos. The pool/spa was very nice but unfortunately not unusable for most of the stay. I thought it was off because I didn't request pool heat. I reached out for info but got no response due to some sort of system error where none of my messages were being received via vrbo. The pool guy informed us monday it was dirty because the entire system was off and wasn't filtering for most of our stay. He fixed the problem and said we could use it later that day but our stay was basically over. The community clubhouse is 5 stars and definitely made up for the private pool issue. The system issue with vrbo made communication difficult as I was trying to adhere to using the booking platform for communication but I did get a response via sms. Overall we had a great stay!

Honestly it’s a nice house but getting something fixed was exhausting. The door to the pool wouldn’t lock so having kids there that was a bit nerve racking until they finally came to fix it the door several days after we got there. The hot tub was warm but not hot until the last day, they had a pool company clean the pool which was fine until they put a hose in it to fill and made it cold for two of the days we were there. I purchased a golf cart way before we got there, I kept getting the run around about it being delivered until day 4 when I finally just said give me my money back and really I wasn’t mad til they gave me everything but 54 saying it was non refundable amount, well they didn’t deliver it, kept me waiting for days saying it was coming then to not get delivered. I was done waiting for them to come it was a huge waste of my time then to tell me all of my money wouldn’t be returned yep never again. So add ons are a no way not ever again. My family all own several businesses, from internet companies to radio stations and we all know costumer service very well and vacation together several times a year and this has got to be the most frustrating stay we have ever had. Nice area perfect for a quick run to the store.

Regarding the golf cart add-on and the non-refundable amount: we want to clarify that this policy is clearly outlined in the agreement that is signed prior to booking. This non-refundable portion is held by the platform itself, not by us, and we do not have access to those funds to issue a refund. Despite this, we did make efforts to contact the platform’s customer service to request an exception on your behalf, but unfortunately, it was not approved. We do not retain this amount intentionally, and had the agreement been reviewed beforehand, this situation would have been much easier to understand. We appreciate your comments about the home and the location, and we’re sorry that the overall experience did not meet expectations. Cleanliness of the property upon arrival was not good. Hot tub did not work for three days, not enough pots and pans for the large group, broken stove top, not enough blankets and pillows for the group. Response time less than ideal from wonder homes. Non Existent Customer Service

I will start with the negative. I called Vrbo and reported this, nothing was done. I called, texted, and emailed Wonder Vacation Homes, nothing was done. Upon arrival we could not get in the gate. We waited with a long line of cars for over an hour. Tried to call Wonder Vacations emergency number, no answer. Tried to text on the guest profile, no answer. We had to park and carry our bags through the small opening by the side of the gate. Some cars waited to see if they could beat the gate closing when someone left. Crazy risk of getting vehicle damaged! Finally, the next day around 4pm, after at least 20 + phone calls and 10 texts ( wasted a good 2 hours of my family vacation) someone from Wonder Vacation finally responded and said it was a complaint I would need to take up with the property resort maintenance. Really?? I do not live there I rented the property from Wonder Vacations through Vrbo. Unbelievable! The gate was not fixed until our last day of the stay. Totally acceptable, again apparently this was a matter I needed to talk with the property manager about... since I am a resident.. REALLY!!! Also, asked for a pool heater, never got one. Never swam! So sad for the family and all the kids who were looking forward to it. I would never use Wonder Vacation Homes EVER again.

The horse was beautiful and clean. We did add the heated pool and hot tub which actually kept the pool more hot than the hot tub which was disappointing but the kids didn’t care and still enjoyed themselves. House was stocked with basic necessities for our stay kitchen/bath etc. Our family of 18 stayed comfortably with plenty of space and entertainment for all ages.

I tried calling the company that rents the house out and never received a call back or even a checkin on us the heater for pool did not work and the dryer in the house did not work we was left with wet soiled clothes. Very unprofessional.

Great location.

The property was clean on arrival. The kitchen was well stocked with plates, bowls and cups, but not much else. The property management was more difficult to communicate with than if the property was owned by a single person. Overall, we had a great week at a great house. Bring your own supplies.
