Beautiful villa with an amazing sea view!

Located in a peaceful neighbourhood with amenities and a wide range of restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive. Beach and beachside restaurants are a short 10 minute walk. Host communicated effectively leading up to the stay and we were greeted on arrival with all of our queries answered. The villa is equipped with all the necessities required. Reading books, DVDs and games all available.

Thank you for a wonderful stay

We had a wonderful time in the villa, which catered to everyone's needs! The attention to detail, checking-in process and excellent communication throughout allowed for a fabulous trip away. The location is perfect for the beach, hiking and amenities are only a short walk away. We'll definitely be coming back!

Amazing stay near beautiful beach

We cannot fault this fantastic villa in any way! The location is stunning and a short walk to a fantastic beach. Only a 20 minute walk into Lagos which is a brilliant bustling town. There were 8 of us (4 adults and 4 teenagers) and the villa felt so spacious. The roof terrace and basement/den were such a bonus too. Destination Algarve were so friendly and helpful from booking, check in and during the stay. Outstanding service thank you!

Bigger than expected

A modern spacious villa in a beautiful neighbourhood! Bigger than expected and the games room was amazing for the teenagers. A five minute walk down to gorgeous Porto de Mos beach and 20 mins into Lagos. You can also access the costal path and walk to all the best beaches around Lagos. Just perfect. And we were greeted by the loveliest couple who couldn't do enough for us. Great bbq, pool, huge living room w/big screen tv for nights when we wanted to chill. Would highly recommend.

Lovely Villa

We really enjoyed our holiday in this lovely villa. It had everything we needed for a month-long stay with our baby - we especially loved the BBQ and the heated pool! The location was excellent, just a short walk to the beach and some great hiking trails, and a quick drive to a few of the bigger supermarkets. We experienced some unusually bad weather and a massive storm which caused power outages in the area, but the management company was extremely helpful and responsive throughout. Overall a great place to stay and would highly recommend!

I stayed here with my family

I stayed here with my family & 1 year old son and had a fantastic trip. The villa is in a lovely location, 5minute walk to a gorgeous beach with nice restaurant and about a 20 minute walk into the old town which we did every night. The villa itself was great, exactly what you see in the pictures. Loads of space to hang out, and lovely pool area. The company you deal with for check in etc is Destination Algarve, they were so nice & helpful. Couldn’t fault the place & would definitely stay again if back in Lagos!

Nice villa apart from basement

Stayed here in July. Booking, check-in and info provided about property were all very good. Villa has good facilities and good location for beach - teenagers could come and go as they pleased. About 10 minute walk to beach - all downhill on way there - all uphill on way back but good to get the heart rate up! Villa was generally clean with decent sized pool. Decor is a bit dated but was ok. The less good things are there is road noise and there is a very pronounced damp/mildew smell from basement that does permeate somewhat though the ground floor. Kids wouldn't use downstairs bathroom because of it and it also put them off using the pool and table tennis and basement seating area which was a bit of a shame. Also recommend that if guests notice any marks on anything like towels, bedding etc take photos so you aren’t charged for damage you didn’t do when you leave! All in all pretty expensive and a bit disappointing compared to other similarly priced self catering accommodation in area.

Lovely villa. Lovely garden and pool and great location. Lot of construction noise is the only thing letting it down which is not the owners fault but the noise was a bit of a problem. Can’t fault apart from that. Would stay again for sure.

A fantastic family holiday at Casa Hugo, Lagos

We originally booked this property in December 2019 for use in August 2020. Finally, after 2 years wait due to Covid, we arrived and we were not disappointed!! The property provides a vast amount of amenities that means there is something for everyone: 4 big bedrooms over two floors, spacious living room, kitchen with appliances, playroom, sun terrace with great views, pool, garden… The location is also great, only a 10min walk from a fantastic beach which boasts two cafe/restaurants. Lagos centre is approx 30min walk, although a taxi via Uber was never an issue. Lagos itself offers a good range of restaurants and the marina is a great spot. A special mention for the people at Destination Algarve who remained in regular contact with us over the last two years. They were also kind enough to put us in touch with a local charity who were able to provide my father with a mobility scooter at a reasonable price.

Perfect week in Casa Hugo

We loved our stay at Casa Hugo. From being greeted promptly by someone from Destination Algarve to evening drinks on the rooftop terrace. It was a perfect week way. The spacious villa was immaculate inside with room for us all. The heated pool was fantastic as was the brand new BBQ. The villa was very well equipped, both inside and outside. It was just a short walk to the beach where there were lovely restaurants and only a 25 minute walk to Lagos. We loved it here and would recommend it to anyone. Nothing.

We had a wonderful stay!

We were cheerfully welcomed by Destination Algarve and they give us good service during our stay. Allover we had a very nice stay and fully enjoyed the well equipped villa. The villa is also well located between the beach and the centre of Lagos. Unfortunately there were some problems with the sewer. Although Destination Algarve took action right away, the problem could not be solved during our stay. Also one of the roller shutters broke down, but they repaired it the next morning.
