OUTSTANDING place to stay. The property has wonderful historical and cool places to visit all within walking distance. The property is in a safe area, very enjoyable.We had a large group with kids, the property is made up of 3 apartments, so we had multiple sitting areas, kitchens and the bedrooms were group so people could have some isolation from the main group. Very helpful since one was 15months old.Our family enjoyed the historic building and loved the area we were in.Definitely will stay here again

Getaway with kids and grandkids

The place was very spacious and nice. It was close many great places. We rented the full house (3 apartments that felt like one big house). The beds were very comfortable. Great air conditioning. Very well decorated and laid out. Would stay there again.

Amazing location and space

We stayed here for a long weekend for a girl's trip. There was so much space for 9 of us. The location was prime and in the center of everything so we could walk to all the restaurants, bars, and shopping. The beds were really comfortable and plenty of towels. Would 10/10 recommend again.

Good stay!

We stayed here for a long weekend and it was great! Didn’t realize it was three separate apartments in one larger house, but it did the job for us! The host took a little long to respond at times, and I struggled a bit finding the check out instructions.

The Habersham house was great! The bedrooms, bathrooms, and living rooms provided adequate space for our large party, and we appreciated the pink bags provided—we used them when we went to the beach. Most of the beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. One of the bathroom toilets kept running; it might need repair soon, but otherwise it functioned. Unfortunately, communication with the host was not ideal, as the response time varied every day. When we were locked out of the interior doors, it took some time to get in touch with the host to gain access to the property. Similarly, when sending any message, replies could take anywhere from an hour to an afternoon. The house’s location was ideal for us. We were only 15 minutes from almost all of the restaurants and shops we went to, and the city of Savannah was truly walkable from this location. It was very convenient!Overall, the Habersham house was a great base for our trip to Savannah, and we had a wonderful time!

60th Birthday in Savannah- Amazing!

A gathering of family & friends in Savannah for my 60th birthday. Amazing Colonial home 1 block from the river front, and within walking distance to most anything else you want to do there. Bonus was being right on the St Patty’s Day Parade route. Within an hour to lots of great golf courses and 20 minutes from the airport. The house has plenty of room to gather, comfortable bedrooms and well appointed kitchens. Would definitely stay again!

Great for work clients

I had 7 clients stay there. We met in a different location, this was simply their lodging for the week. It worked perfectly. They were happy and loved that it was easy to walk to restaurants, the river and the historic district squares.

Historical Experience

We rented the entire house for our party. Everyone fell I. Love with the historical house and the way it was renovated. Close to River Street and all attractions were in walking distance. Everything was thought of for an amazing stay!! Highly recommend!!

Delightful House, Lots of Stairs

This beautiful, historic house has all the amenities you could want. We used the whole house, but decided that the third floor living room was the best place to gather. It’s large, well-lit, and has the kitchen right there. Each apartment’s kitchen is well kitted out with everything you might need (except food). The paper and soap supplies were more than enough for us during our short stay. If you’re staying longer, you might want to bring extra. The area is on the edge of downtown. There are two parks nearby. The north side leads to the river and River Street. One of our group had friends staying in Savannah, and they were able to walk around the Historic District easily. It’s good to have a car for midtown and areas outside Savannah proper. The four off-street parking places are extremely useful. The stairs: The description of Apartments 1 and 2 says: “The ground level has direct access to the parking area…” There are doors from these apartments to the parking area, but you have to go inside from the 2nd floor and go downstairs to get to those doors to open them. There are many stairs. One family member counted 22 steps from the 3rd floor down to the parking area. So be aware that this house is a little difficult for those who don’t like stairs. If you’re in apartment 1 there’s a staircase up to the LR/DR on floor 2. If you’re in apartment 2, there’s a spiral staircase. The second floor has the communal hallway and the grand staircase that leads to the 3rd floor. Other Caveats: • Some of the lamps are dim. • The ground floor bedrooms have lower ceilings than the rest of the house. However, they have a charm of their own with old brick walls. • There are a lot of businesses near the house. There can be street noise at night. • Bring all the food and condiments you think you’ll need. This is a clean house; there’s nothing left from the people who were there before you. • Bring your own toiletries. There’s bar soap in the bathrooms (as well as a couple of rolls of TP), but that’s it. I would love to rent Habersham House again. The tall ceilings and well-appointed rooms made our stay very pleasant. We all enjoyed being here.

great location, great amenities, great place

We LOVED this property for my sister's bachelorette party. There were 12 of us, and there was more than enough room for us to sleep, hang out, and great ready. Everything was under a 15 minute walk and we had SO MUCH FUN! It was clean and had everything we could have needed. I would SOOOO recommend

Great location and house

We were there for a bachelorette party with 13 women. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep and hang out comfortably and location was walking distance to fun places for the day and evening!

Great location with plenty of space

With a group of 19 people staying here, I was worried about the amount of bathrooms and space for everyone. We were perfectly comfortable! There was plenty of space to spread out, the layout is perfect for a group trip, and you can’t get a much better location. Would recommend for anyone looking for a spacious house for lots of guests!

Location and price is NOT worth !

Home was filthy, pre-existing damages, convenient location BUT dumpster divers everywhere and open parking area in an alley. One night a carjacker was caught canvassing our vehicles because the parking was secluded enough not to attract attention, and yet open enough to welcome burglarers and the like. Lovely house for a lovely weekend!

We rented 2 units of Habersham House for a Bachelorette Party, and it was a huge success. Habersham was an easy walk to River St and a longer hike or short uber/lyft ride away from Forsyth Park or anything in deeper Savannah you may want to see. The house was clean and comfortable for our group of 11. We were split between the upstairs and downstairs apartments, but it was easy to walk between so we could all mingle together.

Exceeded expetations

Stayed in Units 1 & 3 for a Memorial Day weekend bachelorette party. The house and location were perfect. We had just the right amount of space/accommodation for 8 people. Rooms were all clean, well-decorated and spacious-- much larger than I anticipated based on the pictures. While at the house we spent most of our time on the back porches (or sleeping) - but most of the weekend we were out exploring Savannah. The house is right downtown, but in a very quiet little nook. I also love the historical details of the building, and it seems like many of them have been preserved. I believe it's one of the older houses still remaining from 1700s. A lot of the more famous homes in Savannah were built in the early-mid 1800s. There is some literature in Unit 3 that goes over some of the history. One evening as we were coming home there was actually a tour guide pointing out some of the features of the house to a group of about 20 people, so that was neat. My only complaint/comment is there seemed to be something going on with the plumbing which caused the house to smell pretty bad during the day. We're pretty sure the smell was coming from the drains in the sinks. It was mostly gone by nighttime, but would show up again the next day. Since we weren't indoors for the most part during the day it wasn't that big of a deal, but I could see how it would turn some people off. Overall, it was a really great place and I would highly recommend it to groups or families.

Very nice historic home!

Great property and location. We rented both units and it worked out great. Only negative is that the AC gets turned up to 80 between guests. That means your first evening is warm while the AC tries to catch up. It was not unbearable but it was warm.
