Savannah's Vernon Oaks. The epitome of coastal luxury and relaxation, minutes from Savannah's Historic District and a short drive to Tybee Island. Enjoy 2 acres of privacy surrounded by magnificent live oaks. 250 feet of frontage on the Vernon River allows for sweeping water views and endless sunsets as seen from the saltwater pool, hot tub, bedrooms and expansive balconies. The grandest of historic oaks, over 350 years old, greets you as you enter the property. Surely, it has stories to tell! The home's ground level hosts a full apartment with modern finishes, full kitchen and washer/dryer, while also featuring a gym and additional bedroom. Make your way up to the 2nd level which hosts the main living room w/ fireplace, open kitchen, dining room with seating for 12, laundry room, powder room, and two bedrooms, each with their own full baths. The upper level is complete with a large sitting room (optional 6th bedroom) that flows through to the master suite boasting 2 private balconies, lighted tray ceiling, wet-bar w/ mini fridge, walk-in closet, and 3-sided fireplace that connects to the en-suite bath. The bath offers double vanities, lighted mirror, jetted tub and huge shower. Smart TV's are provided in all bedrooms, living areas, gym and master bath. Outdoor and indoor games are also available for guests to enjoy!

If I could give this property more than 5 stars I would! The host made us feel very welcome and informed from the beginning to the end of our trip! Our first impression upon arrival with the huge oak tree with the Spanish moss hanging from it and fountain was breathtaking. The home itself was perfect and every detail was thought of from the the amazing beds and appliances down to the little signage that somehow fit in with the decor and left us with no questions of where things were placed, and instructions for the things we needed to know. There were more than enough bath towels, pool towels, coffee and supplies! This is something that is sometimes lacking. Our most favorite thing to do was just to sit out back in the hot tub, watch nature and enjoy the awesome view as the kids played in the pool. We hope to return again on our next trip!

Amazing stay and even better memories made here! Thank you so much to Trey for allowing us to have a micro wedding celebration, we could not have asked for a better place to start the next chapter of our lives. The majority of conversations this weekend mentioned how the house had everything anyone could need from safety pins for securing broken dress straps to bug spray and kids sunscreen. We did not want to leave! Many many tears were shed saying good bye to such a beautiful house. We will be back!

Our family of 8, 6 adults and 2 children under 6, had the most wonderful family getaway art this beautiful estate. Everything was spotless and tastefully decorated. The living space was ample for the bunch of us yet we could safely keep track of the children. although a bit cool we used the pool, had a few campers and enjoyed the hot tub. The location is excellent as well, near a supermarkets, a major highway, downtown Savannah and Skidaway Island. The views are absolutely gorgeous and private though so one still feels secluded. Trey was quick to communicate and was very accomodating. We highly recommend staying here.

There is no way to properly describe this property, simply amazing. From host communication and flexibly to spacious and thoughtfully laid out and decorated. We were there for a full week and everyone had plenty of space for 10 people, 4 couples. The house is well appointed and there was considerable thought put toward making everything easy. Kitchens are by far the best we have seen in a VRBO and the setting feels absolutely secluded even with quick access to highways and local community.

Amazing Family Trip

We loved the location for a visit to relatives who live at the Landings at Skidaway, and it was so convenient. The house was clean and well stocked with appliances, cooking utensils and two kitchens! We loved sitting in the hot tub and watching the outdoor tv, and sitting on the deck and looking out at the marsh.

We didn’t use the hot tub, but it’s there! We had a fire outside by the pool, nice conversations happened there. The house is beautiful, all pictures on line are accurate! The house is quite gorgeous and you have so many things provided to you for a comfortable stay. Trey, our host, was amazing!! My friends and I had an incredible stay at this home! The southern hospitality was on full display - everything you could possibly need was thoughtfully noted and included throughout the home. The pool was such an amazing feature, we used it every single day. The home feels really nicely secluded while also being super accessible to nearby highways and the historic main streets. All of us kept saying that we needed to come back for future group trips because we loved it so much!

This place is excellent. The whole property is gorgeous with amazing views of the savannah river. The house is very well thought out and convenient for visitors. We had high expectations from the pictures and description and they were exceeded. The host was very easy to deal with and responded quickly to all messages. This is a beautiful, beautiful home. The pictures online are gorgeous and it is even more impressive in person. You never want to leave the property nor do you need to but it is convenient to everything. A wonderful place to bring family or friends together.
