Excellent location, the 14th is the best not so touristy part of Paris. Very convenient location to the metro and Catacombs.

Our greeter was prompt, very friendly, and provided full information. We were able to reach both him and the host easily. When there was an initial wifi mixup, it was resolved quickly. The apartment was perfectly clean, very quiet and well equipped in every aspect. It is not in a high tourist area so never noisy or crowded. The metro and bus are about 8 minutes' walk with easy connections, from CDG and all over the city. The apartment's layout and size made it easy for my brother and me to have private space. Well suited for two people.The only problem we had was that the elevator didn't work for a few days, twice during our two week stay, on the 5th floor. However, our host was extremely responsive, kept in touch and offered some solutions if we couldn't manage. Climbing stairs is a way of life in Paris for most of us.We were both very pleased with the apartment, the host, our 'greeter', the pleasant, helpful neighbor and would like to return in the future.

Great apartment

This apartment was perfect for us - well appointed and well located. Very easy to get around via metro/bus/RER. The bed was comfortable (note it is a double, not a queen) and so was the pull out sofa bed. We would definitely book again if available.

Nice location, furniture, balcony. Bed comfy but narrow. Quiet. But bad for retired people and cooks. To get to the bathroom from the bed, you must climb up a high step and then climb down. You must use a flashlight every time because it hurts to forget. There are 3 ways to make coffee, but no lids for pots & pans, the stove shuts down as soon as it gets hot, the socket needed for most appliances is hanging off the wall with wiring exposed. We are grateful we did not break bones or get a serious shock. The host speaks only French and did not respond to these problems.

Great neighborhood find

A very nice apartment in a quiet neighborhood. Plenty of room to spread out and a great balcony to enjoy coffee or a meal. Just outside is a great parkway that led to a few bistros, grocery, and patisserie. Another block was more shops, food and the train station. Getting around town was easy and quick. I highly recommend this apartment for a couple folks who are looking for a taste of Paris without the tourist chaos. Dominique was great and answered quickly to my inquiries.

Highly Recommended

We highly recommend this property. The apartment is fabulous with the patio and an upstairs bedroom that is spacious. The upstairs bathroom is modern with full tub and shower. It is in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the local feel. It is a bit further away from the typical Paris tourist sites. Since we've been to Paris several times, we enjoyed being out of the crowds for awhile. The owners are accessible and very helpful. The check-in and management of the stay is through a property manager - please know he speaks zero English.

Spacious, comfortable flat, as advertised

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this flat. We stayed for 11 nights. It was as advertised, spacious and very comfortable, had all the amenities we expected. One big plus, is the second toilet. It was very well located, close to two metro stations, one of which also was RER station. Super convenient to get to anywhere in Paris very quickly. Even to outside of Paris, such as Disneyland. The host gave clear instructions for checking in. Someone met us at the building to let us in, showed us around, and gave us two sets of keys. It was nice to have an extra set of keys. i highly recommend this flat.

This has everything!

It's a newer building, and the apartment has everything: dishwasher, clothes washer, one powder room and one bath, plus TWO balconies, one off the dining room and one off the bedroom Some pleasing antiques and decorative touches Nice neighbors and a quiet neighborhood; this apartment faces a courtyard. Did I mention the elevator? They can be rare in Paris! The neighborhood is residential, with a bakery, a bar, and two restaurants up the street, but the busier avenue General Leclerc, with more shops, a Metro, and action, is a 7 minute walk. It could use brand new carpeting, but otherwise....fantastic.

Great apartment for extended stay

This is a small, 6th floor (American counting) apartment with an efficiency kitchen / living room (which includes a convertible couch / bed big enough for 2 to sleep on), a balcony with a table and 3 chairs overlooking a beautiful garden & neighboring apartment buildings, an upstairs bedroom with double bed and full bathroom (toilet and bathtub shower), and small downstairs toilet. The bedroom has an air conditioner that works, and the building has an elevator that works. The apartment has a very convenient location 8 minutes walk from the Denfert-Rocherau metro and RER train, so access to the rest of Paris AND to Charles De Gaulle Airport is terrific. There are lots of cafes and bistros practically across the street and a small supermarket around the corner. The property manager was hard to get hold of and not very responsive, but the owner was very responsive, immediately addressing small problems that arose, sending a plumber, elevator mechanic, etc. when problems arose. Very good stay!

Unclean and challenging communication

The apartment was not clean upon arrival. There was dust, hair in the bathrrom and garbage on the bedroom nightstand. A sock was found in the bedroom which caused me to question the cleanliness throughout. Finding hair in the bathroom was gross. I messaged the contract through VRBO but they were not checking messages or responding. I had to .are am International call from the airport and the contact did not speak good English so communication was difficult. We ended up cleaning the bathroom ourselves. They offered to send the cleaner back, but the cleaner only Indicated she would meet us at the apartment to look at it. It was not in our itinerary to spend time with the cleaning service. We should not have had to handle any of that...it should have been handled for us. It was disappointing to pay for a dirty space. Location was good.

prima Unterkunft

Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig, aber trotdem sehr verkehrsgünsig gelegen. Zur nächsten Metrostation sind es nur 5 Minuten zu Fuß. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet und groß. 2 Toiletten sind sehr praktisch. Schräg gegenüber dem Hau ist eine Bäckerei und gleich daneben ein kleiner Supermarkt. die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war problemlos und gut.

Paris im Herbst

Wir waren sehr angetan von diesem Quartier und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wir sind vom Quartier zu Fuß zum Jardin du Luxembourg gelaufen, die U-Bahn-Station ist in der Nähe, ein Bäcker gleich um die Ecke, Lebensmittelladen auch. Die Fenster gehen auf den Innenhof, es ist ruhig hier. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet, es funktioniert alles. Wir waren zu viert, es war genug Platz für uns und wir empfehlen das Quartier gern weiter.
